Oh how we love Jets Pizza! Detroit style deep dish with the cup pepperoni and the TURBO crust!! Don't forget the garlic sauce. So delicious!!

The deep dish 8 corner pizza is my go too,the crust is delicious compared to other places and you can pick what type you want. It does take a lot longer to cook than other items on the menu so be prepared to wait a while. I only order and pickup as their delivery is expensive and takes over an hour since they don't have enough workers or delivery drivers. The manager has always been pretty nice there

Time for an update! I got to try out Jet's Pizza again, since it's currently the favorite delivery pizza at work! Since I had a bad experience on my first try, I was skeptical... but I'm glad I gave it another chance... I was amazed at how good it is, and it's not a surprise that it's our favorite delivery pizza at work! It's deep dish thick crust pizza that's just soo delicious! The sauce is mild and not overpowering, and the cheese is mild, just right, melts in your mouth good! I also love that it's square cut, making it easy to nibble on. Now I've tried the cheese, the pepperoni and sausage. They are all soooo good! I am definitely a fan! YUM!

Started by two Michigan brothers in 1978, this Upper Midwestern chain specializes in what I'd call "Detroit Style" pizza. A bit thicker crust, square in shape, square cut. They offer several different sizes, including one that's "all corners." There are now about 350 Jet's Pizzas in 19 states, mostly franchise owned and operated. I could be mistaken, but usually I'm not, I think the entire chain is carry out/delivery only. The outlet I visited, in a suburb of the Twin Cities, was ultra busy, and ultra high production oriented. My large sausage and "bold pepperoni" plus olives pie took 12 minutes on the conveyor oven. Enthusiastic and friendly staff. A lot of them! In addition to pizza, the menu offers salads, subs, a couple of chicken products, and their variations on "crazy bread," or whatever the real name is for baked slices of pizza dough with a variety of toppings. You know what? I was impressed. This is a far more flavorful pie, with more toppings, than any other high production chain. It runs circles around Dominos, Papa Johns, Caesars, and Pizza Hut, for sure. The sausage was flavorful, the pepperoni indeed "bold" (they also have regular), nice pull on the cheese, and the sauce had it's own distinct flavor. Good job, Jett boys. And thank yer ma for coming up with the recipe.

But that was a hard decision since the server (though VERY nice) was clearly not able to keep up with the number of tables. There were 7 dirty tables He tried to direct me to a table but it still had dirty plates. He removed them and told me I could sit but it had not been cleaned off I finally found a table to set at That had nothing on it but it ended up being extremely sticky so much so that my napkin got stuck to it and left a bunch of fibers behind I finally went and asked him to give me a towel to clean it off He came over and wiped it off but even he couldn't get it to clean off and three tables around me had that same stickiness. I ordered the lasagna which was the lunch special I love lasagna that lasagna from Sweet taste of Italy I still dream about. This lasagna was not great I did not like the flavor. I was very hungry and in a time crunch so I ate it but I did not enjoy it. It came with a breadstick but I've never had a breadstick of this texture and I did not enjoy that either It was more like a loaf of bread that was cut in a long slice but it fell apart when I was eating it was extremely crumbly. And there was no garlic flavor to it. I asked the server about it and he said it's made from our pizza dough. The place had a lot of customers so it must be fairly popular but I would not go there again personally.

Welcome to Sarpino's New Hope, where the only thing getting delivered on time is financial mismanagement. I worked here for six years, and let me tell you, it's not just a job--it's an ongoing legal case disguised as a business. Don't believe me? Let's break down the Sarpino's Business Model™: Bounce paychecks like a bad Tinder date--Had to report mine to the police, which is definitely a normal thing employees have to do at legitimate businesses. Retaliate against employees for asking about their legally earned sick time--Asked about mine, suddenly got locked out of the system and then received my first-ever write-up right before I quit. Six years of work, no issues... then BOOM. Retaliation speedrun. Straight-up lie to the government about employee work hours--Said an employee worked 25 hours a week when they weren't even hitting 10. Who needs honesty when you can just make stuff up? Make sure the owner's $120,000 Mercedes SUV stays fully paid while employees are out here wondering if their paychecks will clear. Oh, and it's March, and I still don't have my W-2. But it's fine--I'll just guess my income on my taxes like Sarpino's guesses how to run a business. At this point, I half expect Sarpino's to start paying people in Chuck E. Cheese tokens and calling it "company culture." If you're looking for a job where your paychecks might bounce, your hours might be made up, and asking about your legally earned benefits gets you punished, congrats--you found it! Otherwise, go support a business that doesn't require police intervention to function.

The reason why I LOVE Pizza Man? It has nothing to do with their pizza, actually....it has to do…read morewith their WINGS! First off, there have been three (3) comfort food items that I have been searching for since moving to this state: Wonton Soup, pizza and wings. This state is SERIOUSLY lacking in those areas. Wonton wraps from around here are overcooked and fall apart the second you touch them, leaving you with a plastic container of broth, balls of pork and wonton slush. I actually found ONE place that makes them right, but that business is in Roseville and not part of this review. The point is, it took forever bouncing between each business to find the right ones. As for pizza, it's a bit depressing that most pizza around here just flat-out sucks. (Yes, I'm from a big city on the East Coast. I'm a "judgemental, snobby jerk" who "knows everything" about pizza. I know.) The reason why it sucks IN MY OPINION is because I'm not a fan of designer, "we top it with peanut butter and grapes...AREN'T WE COOL AND HIP?" pizza, (BTW: NO. You're not.), nor the ultimate thin crust that is basically like eating marinara sauce off of a burnt cracker. Or even worse, a thin crust loaded with toppings... so that when you pick it up, the top slides right off and you're left with a warm piece of wet cardboard. It's infuriating. And for the record, in an attempt to shut me up and keep me from bitchin' about finding a good pie, I've been taken to most places that people rave about around here. I gave up. Now, as for wings, all I ever want is a wing that is a decent size and NOT over-fried. I could care less for the flavor or seasoning, just spare me the dry sliver of meat you give me because you overcooked any hint of moist, juiciness out of it, leaving me to basically snack disappointingly on, well, crispy, burnt skin. Then I discovered Pizza Man, and it was completely on another whim in my futile attempts to seek out the aforementioned comfort foods. The name "Pizza Man" sounded so basic that I just jokingly, in a shrugging shoulders/hands-in-the-air action of just giving up, said to myself, "Basic name could possibly equal great food? Maybe? Who knows..." Well, it DOES. The wings: PERFECTLY COOKED. I suddenly went from ranting about bad wings across MN to not shutting up about THESE wings. After ordering over and over again for myself, my GF eventually said that she wanted some pizza (since I was ordering wings), so I ordered my first pizza from them as well. I thought, "Uhh ohh...here we go again with another crap pizza." Wouldn't you know it? It, too, was also PERFECT. I was floored. Two of the three things I was searching for were at the same business? If they sold wontons, I'd bet they would nail that art too! So, the food is great, but what REALLY sets them apart is their follow-up with the customer. They email you after each order, thank you for your business and give you easy points to use to order little add-ons, such as cheesecake. (Do I have to mention that even though they don't make the cake, it also is a tasty product?) So, I'm a regular customer now. Probably gonna' order again right after I post this because I'm thinking about those darn wings. THANK YOU, Pizza Man. You get it. You really, really do. These upcoming winter nights will be a lot more bearable knowing that your wings and pizza are ready to go, right there at my fingertips. Signed, Big City Snob

First I gotta shout out the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful. I think they mainly do takeout because the dining space is relatively small but still feels open thanks to the huge windows. They've got one big TV that was showing the history channel? We split 3 things between 4 people and definitely didn't need the 3rd pizza, as delicious as it was. Coal Fired: The crust and bake are the most important part of a pizza and they nailed it here on both counts. It had a nice fermented flavor but wasn't tangy or "raw" at all. The bake was perfect. Crispy on the bottom and rim with nice leoparding (spots) but the crust interior was pillowy soft and just chewy enough. The overarching theme is "salty" in the the best way. I love salty foods and they use a lot of low-moisture, aged cheeses that amp that aspect up. Bar Pizza: This was pretty good, but felt like it didn't know if it should be deep dish or tavern? Wasn't quite as thin as a midwest tavern so you didn't get the crispy bottom I love, but wasn't thick enough to give the nice, fluffy focaccia chew. Crispy edges were amazing, though, as you'd expect. The middle got really soupy and if you wanted something topping-heavy like "The Sarge" I can see it turning a coal-fired version into floppy mush. It still hurts my soul paying ~$30 for a pizza, even 16", but this is a place I would go to with friends for a special occasion and split a pie or two. Plus they have seasonal cannoli! 5 stars for surpassing my expectations.
