I waited until 8:20 and called. I was on hold for over 30 minutes so I started driving to the location. On the way there, the system dropped the call. I called back and someone finally answered. All they said was, "Hello." I had to confirm it was Marco's. They said, yes and asked why I was calling. I said that I wanted to know why tracking shows my pizza in the oven for over an hour with no further progress. The response...,"Weren't you supposed to pick this up?" "No. It was clearly a delivery order." "Well, you are going to have to come get it." I couldn't believe he had the audacity to say that!! He went on to say their system with Door Dash was not working and they had no drivers at that location. There should be updates for the customers!! They should not be left in limbo!! They only offered a refund. However, I did not see the refund on my account. I continued on to the location to make sure I got my refund. I was told it would be 3-5 business days. I said that is unacceptable and I want it now. They refused. The system conveniently charges immediately but can't refund immediately??!! The manager was not on duty. They would not let me speak to the manager and the manager made no effort to talk to me when a staff member called them. The staff had zero empathy or concern. They would not look me in the eye. They only kept making pizzas and tried to brush me off and make me go away. This was one of the worst customer care experiences I can remember in a long time. Absolutely horrible!!! I can accept problems. No one is perfect, but someone has to own them and makes a conscientious effort to show care and concern and improve the situation and resolve the issue. There was zero!
