We specifically…read morerequested Ford Transit which we did receive at our initial pick up from the Houston Airport, however upon our return back to the airport we receive a vehicle of lesser quality. The Ford Transit that picked us had to be put in the shop, which is understandable as things happen and vehicles need servicing for various reasons to maintain them. We were told they did not send their Surburban because it did not have enough space to accommodate us, which is true as there were 7 passengers with a total of 8 suitcases. Our luggage was secured inside with strap, however the bags kept rolling throughout our trip from the Port of Galveston to the airport in Houston and we had to lay our rolling carry-on bags down because initially they were falling. I asked the very nice man that picked us up why did we have this vehicle, he stated he did not know. Therefore I called the office an was advised of why. I told the lady it is understandable that something happened to the Ford Transit and therefore it had to be put in the shop. It wasn't understandable as to why we weren't informed there would be a change in the quality of vehicle. I told her I believe we should be compensated by receiving something off the price we paid for good customer service. She told me she has to ask the owner who is out of the country for a few weeks. I stated there are various ways to communicate while out of the country such as email, whatsapp, etc., therefore since this happened on a Saturday I ask and expect for them to follow up with me by end of business day Wednesday of the upcoming week. Wednesday came, no one followed up. I called Friday, 3/1/24. I spoke a lady, I think her name is Katherine or Kate, and I advised her what occurred. She stated she will read the note and call me back. She called back within 10 minutes and advised that the contract states they can change vehicles if there's a maintenance issue and switch it for a vehicle with comparable capacity, which is what they did and I agree should happen, however I believe in addition to providing comparable capacity, quality of the vehicle should be comparable also, and if not take something off of the price for your customers. The lady stated the provided a comparable vehicle therefore they will not take anything off. I am not sure if I spoke with the same lady both times but both times that I spoke with a lady, the lady was a little spicy. The drivers were amazing & awesome, therefore I give them 5 stars. I give the overall experience 1, I prefer to do business with companies who do good things/betterment for their customers that goes beyond their contracts or minimal obligations to their customers, however this is not that type of company/business. Our drivers got us back and forth safely and they provided excellent service, which is the positive of this experience.

They are so friendly and so reliable that I've never felt the need to look anywhere else. In 7 years, they have never been late, and usually at 5:30 AM when I tend to need a pickup, they are already outside when I open my front door. Samer and Jafar are professional, courteous, friendly people. Bonus points for being sweet to my parents who always ask them to make sure I reach the airport safely when I leave their house ;) Highly recommended!

Since that initial trip, Cenk and/or his wife have picked us up to and from the airport, driven us to HGO, and last evening to my 70th birthday celebration. Cenk is always on time and knows the ins and outs of Bush Intercontinental Airport; navigating the terminals and ongoing construction. His cars are beautifully maintained and he always remembers the car and music genre that I prefer. For a special occasion, he makes it extra special. For my birthday dinner last evening, he greeted us with a birthday popper and confetti and at the end of the evening when we were on our way home had a customized birthday song playing. I already have several more bookings with Cenk over the next few months. He is great at making you feel comfortable so that you can enjoy your trip with him. I recommend BlackLuxe Ride for a more personal and professional experience than an Uber or Lyft ride!

The owner, apparently, picked us up. She had a clearly used car seat (yet claimed it was new) that was only buckled through the seat belt and had no tether. She said it didn't need latches, but car seats are generally required to have them. She assured us it didn't need it and was dismissive of my concerns. She even emailed after our trip to prove her point, claiming she has had many children travel with her...and never apologized for not bringing the latch strap. She does not properly train her staff and should not advertise safe car seat installation. Also, don't be rude to your customers and act like you know everything.
