They're always on time and professional. Cars are clean and the drivers drive safely. The rates are very reasonable and definitely worth it to not have to drive and park at SFO. I highly recommend them.

I have been using OnTime Transportation ever since 2022 and have found them to be the best and most reliable car service I have ever used. Pick up at home has always been on time or early. The drivers are happy to move and handle luggage. I have had pick ups both at SFO and at Pier 27 in San Francisco - I call when I'm on the curb and the wait time for the car to arrive is within 10 minutes. The drivers have had no issues with late flight arrivals and always arrange to be there whenever the plane has landed. The cars are always clean and well maintained and passenger comfort is always the focus. Billing and tips are handled via email invoice, which helps with busy airport drop offs - no hassling with cards on cash for payment when getting to the plane on time is the many worry for the day. Drop offs are always right to the airline and entry door that is most efficient. Roger is the owner and he is dedicating to providing excellent service. Over the years I think we have become good friends. He is well versed in current news and events and conversations with him during the rides are always engaging and make the ride time go by quickly. When I call for a reservation, if Roger doesn't answer immediately, he gets back to me within 10 minutes. He confirms pick ups the day before. He is willing to go out of his way to fulfill service requests. He's the best! Between the great staff, great owner and great service, I highly recommend OnTime Transportation. Knowing that this is a locally owned business just adds to its excellence. Thanks, Roger!

The night we were leaving, we had them booked for 8:30pm. It's 8:45pm, and they still have not arrived. I called them, and Roger answered and he called the driver, and the driver said he got a FLAT TIRE and got in an accident on the road. Why didn't this driver call Roger and let him know, so he could inform us? Anyways, Roger arrived at 9:15 and took us to the airport. He did NOT honor their "less than 20 minutes late or it's free" guarantee. Pfftt!! Then, a month later, we arrive back at SFO, and they are supposed to pick us up at midnight. But instead, I get a call from Roger and SURPRISE, their vehicle had a FLAT TIRE and they cannot pick us up and we are on our own to find a ride home at midnight. Thanks!! Just wondering, what are the odds that BOTH TIMES they got a FLAT TIRE?? Pffttt!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Unfortunately I have to add another horror story review in here…read more... I actually had a great experience the first time we used Butterfly. John picked me and my two small kids up at SFO at 11:30pm, in the rain in an SUV, drove us home safely and efficiently. Yeah it was a little expensive but after a cross country flight, it was worth it. He was right on time and everything was great. The only thing that put me off a bit was that he requested for me to write a positive Yelp review and tried to add me as a contact on LinkedIn. He seemed a bit too pushy in that regard. I checked out his Yelp comments, with the intent of posting a positive review but deferred when I began to read some of the negative ones. I figured I'd use the service once again before I reviewed, just in case. Well, the second time around, I booked a car on the website (sedan for 4 passengers) for a ride to the airport. The morning of the flight, the car arrived 5 minutes late. The driver was a bit flustered as I approached the car with our suitcases. He opened the trunk, which was full (with 3 car seats) and no room for luggage. He started hauling out car seats and trying to install them but seemed unsure of how they went in. At this point I was quickly losing faith and I asked where we were supposed to put out suitcases (since there was still 1 car seat in the trunk) and where we were going to put out fourth passenger since the car only looked like it would fit one adult in addition to the driver once the car seats were in. The driver then started yelling at me and telling me that I had booked the wrong car and I should have booked an SUV ( I used the exact same booking process as I had the first time). After a little back and forth I told him to forget it and that we would drive ourselves to the airport. He shrugged, said he was sorry and that this happens a lot with his boss. I sort of felt sorry for the guy. I immediately called John to tell him we were canceling the reservation and explain why. He did not answer and mysteriously had no voicemail suddenly. I sent an email documenting what our experience had been and expressing disappointment since our first experience was so good. I got back the following response... "WHEN YOU DID THE ONLINE RESERVATION, YOU RESERVED THE SEDAN 4 PASSENGER AND I CHECKED THE CAR BEFORE WENT FOR YOU, BOTH CAR SEATS WERE INSTALLED, I BELIEVE BECAUSE LAST TIME I GAVE YOU GUYS A FREE UPGRADE TO MY BIG SUV AS ONE TIME COURTESY , I'M SORRY BUT YOU GUYS DID A MISTAKE WHEN YOU RESERVED THE SERVICE AND NOT GETTING THE SERVICE THAT YOU WERE EXPECTING TO GET IS FRUSTRATING BUT IS NOT OUR FAULT, REGARDS JOHN." This guy should probably not be in customer service. He's telling me that the mistake was mine, that the car seats I saw in the trunk were actually installed and that his 4 passenger car doesn't actually fit 4 passengers. Apparently I also received a free upgrade the first time, interesting that this was never mentioned at the time. Obviously I would not recommend using Butterfly Limo for anything. He also tried to charge me for the service he did not provide.

I arranged for Butterfly Limo service to pick me up at 4:30 a.m. to make to my flight at 6:00 a.m…read more flight at SFO. He arrived 10 minutes late, which worked out ok since I was able to get through security by 5:40 a.m. 5 minutes before boarding, although it was cutting it close! The cost was a flat rate of $40.00 and I said I would pay him $50 (very generous tip). I handed him $60.00 and he didn't have change and said that he would give $10 credit towards my next trip. This was of course all word of mouth no receipt of $10 extra credit (I thought about it, but he seemed true to his word). When I contacted John a month later to arrange for taxi service to SFO, I mentioned the $10 credit, low and behold he didn't recall and added that he thinks he has "amnesia." It is not a lot of money but considering that I already gave him a great tip before hand he could have honored the credit. I specified that he should follow the rule book in satisfying his customers. I was disappointed that I have to write this review since I wanted a reliable taxi service since I frequently travel for business. I mentioned to JOhn that I would post a bad review and he didn't seem to care, said it was my perogative. Another one bites the dust!
