Working with Jose, you'll very quickly realize how honest he is. My home was built in 1902, so there were obviously some challenges. Jose would contact me, discuss the issue, and offer several IN CODE options. He impressed me with his knowledge of county and state codes. Again, HONESTY!! His quote was one of best I received, but I still would have chosen his company, due to the way he presents himself. I found myself at home with some health issues on some days while they worked, and to be honest, it was very amusing, and relaxing for me. I would hear the music playing, and one of his crew members would suddenly break out singing to the song that was playing. Things like that showed that they were enjoying life, just working away, and happy. I also asked Jose to quote a roof for my house. Again, he was THE ONLY guy to actually get on my roof and measure things. I could hear him stomping around, checking the integrity of the plywood. No one else even got up there. So, if you want an honest, hard working construction team, these are the guys to contact!! Jose also has some fantastic referrals for the work he doesn't do. The inspector found several items that needed to be fixed, and Lucas agreed, commented about how good of an inspection it was, and promptly fixed the issues. We were satisfied. Now several months later I asked for an estimate on having gutters replaced. I provided the tenants information and we scheduled the estimate. Lucas never showed up, never called, and now I've called and text him 8+ times without a call back. I can only imagine the outcome had we been away and not noticed the smell of burning wires. I could never recommend conducting business with a company that refuses to make right on a relatively inexpensive repair that could have been disastrous had we been away.

When we first contacted Leo roofing for our whole roof replacement the owner Mike Briggs was very…read morehelpful, kind and respectful. When the work was being done, over time Mike rarely showed up to check in with us or his crew. It took longer then expected. When the crew told us the work was complete and that Mike would be back for final inspection and to talk with us. Several details were unfinished and it took many return visits to complete. We had to call Mike several times to get him to come out and finish his work. He had many excuses as to why it was taking so long. The main reason was he was busy with other clients!! Two years have passed and we now have a leak in our roof. Mike came out and looked at it. Mike stated to my husband that he sealed the leak and that the reason for the leak was not his fault. Mike said he told to put some type of cap ( we aren't roofers we are not sure what he is referring to) on the chimney to prevent the issue we now have. We stated to Mike no information about the said "Cap" was relayed to us form him. We should not have to complete the details involving a complete roofing installation! He then said it was a crew member who should have told us and either way the problem is not his. We are in the process of filing a claim due to the fact that I have tried to reach out to Mike, several txt messages and phone calls, he has not responded to any of them!! It's been 3 days since Mike last had any contact with us in regard to our leaking roof! We are frustrated and highly disappointed with the integrity of the owner of Leo roofing!!!

Not fun, anxiety and stress kicked in hard. I wanted to hide and just forget it all. But my roof was leaking. The big brown tarp was a dead giveaway. I'd given up in total confusion with bids from $18k to $57k, a lot of promises and more than a few insults. And then I met Chris, the owner of Five Star. He listened to me and my story. He could tell I'd already heard all the information- I just needed a business with expertise, an owner with integrity and an honest approach to do the job for a fair price. Not only did Chris provide all of that but he brought in a hardworking crew one that worked together like a well oiled machine. They were fast, respectful, cleaned up beautifully and were gone on time the next day! I am thrilled with the roof.
