We'd had three different shops take a look at it, and all three misdiagnosed the issue even after we told them we thought it was a bad igniter. I called Indy RV the Monday before Thanksgiving, and Malin told me to bring it by that afternoon and he'd have their service team take a look as soon as they could. When I got there, he took exhaustive notes on everything I told him so the service team would have all the information needed. He didn't try to lecture me on how it probably wasn't the thing I said it was, like everywhere else; he just asked questions and wrote down everything I said. It did indeed turn out to be an igniter issue, and since Dometic would have taken a week or more to ship the replacement part under warranty, Malin coordinated with their parts distributor to have them provide a new igniter with their next delivery, two days later. They were able to squeeze us in for a replacement on Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving, and our heater is finally fixed Malin was communicative, understanding, and speedy. He was a joy to work with, and did everything he could to fix our issue as quickly as possible. Thank you to Malin and Indy RV!

We…read morereached out to James for a second opinion after being told by another mechanic that we needed an entire new RV refrigerator...~$5K all-in. In a short amount to time James determined that our fridge cooling unit was not bad as diagnosed by the first mechanic. He felt certain that several factors were contributing to our fridge not getting as cold as it should. One, it was very hot in UT the week we were there simply causing our fridge to work harder than normal. Two, our thermomister was not in the optimal position within our refrigerator. Took him about 15 seconds to correct. Finally, he suggested we add a second 12V cooling fan to help dissipate the warm air. He was quite certain that our fridge/freezer would work fine as we continued our trip North into cooler temps. None of these points were made by the first mechanic who literally spent three minutes determining that we needed a completely new fridge. Turns out James was completely right. Our fridge is working perfect even without the second fan. James was professional, competent and very friendly. And he is a veteran for those of us who like supporting veteran-owned businesses. We explained the situation to Tyler, the service manager, and Brian, the generator specialist, and they were very quick to jump on our problem and to solve it! The part we needed had to be ordered in from California. Tyler stayed on top of the situation and made sure their distributor got the part shipped to RVZZ as soon as they received it. Well, The Price he charged was far less than I expected and honestly I probably would've paid more just for the motor if I had ordered it myself from a local dealer than what he charged for the entire fix. He fixed the problem so quickly where I had no clue how to even get to it and I was more than impressed. Yesterday my husband accidentially filled our diesel truck with regular fuel. They told us not to turn the ignition on and we had it towed to their business. It is our only vehicle, we needed it to go out of town on Monday and they went out of their way to accomodate us buy getting it fixed and back to us the next day. I can't thank them enough. What started out at a higher price to fix ended up being almost $300.00 cheaper. They were able to drain our tank instead of having to drop the tank, put new fuel filters on, put diesel in and tested that the engine was good and no noises, drained it again and put more diesel in with additives and ran it and test drove it to make sure everything was good. They truly look out for their customers. They are the most honest automotive shop I have ever used. Thank you for caring about your customers.
