He took special care of our underage daughter, asking about her favorite flavors and creating a delicious nonalcoholic drink just for her. That kind of personal attention made her--and all of us--feel especially welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the entertainment made the evening feel like much more than simply dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and judging by the energy throughout the restaurant, everyone around us was having a wonderful time as well. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. He was classically trained in the Reinheitsgebot tradition and spent about 20 minutes talking with us about the passion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail he puts into creating their beers.
