Due to the shape of my tooth and its placement relative to the teeth next to it, it was particularly difficult to find a crown that would perfectly fit (not the studio's fault). The commitment to fabricate a crown that fit 100% became a long process over the series of several appointments, but it was extremely relieving because I knew that Dr. Ashini would not let me leave without perfection. The studio became a family to me, and I appreciated all of the efforts made for last-minute appointments and expedited crown deliveries. Overall, great dental studio! I just had 2 small cavities taken care of yesterday and I went in there with such ease knowing I was in good hands based on my previous experience with Dr. Akkari. Once again, the whole process was completely pain free and I was out of there in less than an hour (the procedure itself was at most 15 minutes). Also, I cant understand why there are a few negative reviews about their receptionists. Rita has always been super sweet & I can't remember the other ladies name but they have always been super polite and helpful with scheduling, rescheduling, checking in & helping me get a referral to an oral surgeon. In my experience with Canyon Crest Dental, they set the bar high compared to other dental offices for number of reasons: * Employees. They have happy employees ready to help. Even when walking in, they are ready to make sure you are checked in for your appointment. They always look polished and professional. They always have a smile and I like that! * Communication. Communication is great. They pick up the phone in a timely manner and help answer your question quickly. And they are ready to follow-up with you. Even by email, they are quick to respond to your question. * Appointments. Scheduling appointments is easy. And they have multiple reminders (e.g., text, email, etc.) leading up to the appointment to ensure your appointment is confirmed. Before I leave, they make sure I already have my next appointment in their system. * Cleanliness. It smells clean upon entering and appears clean as well. The aesthetic already puts you in a good mood even if you're anxious about a procedure. This makes me feel great about coming here. * Comfortable. During each visit, they made me feel comfortable and informed me about what they were doing throughout the process so that I can sit and let them do the work. They make sure you have shades on so you don't get the bright lights or gunk on you. I've also been offered a blanket to feel comfortable and was offered bottled water during my wait. * Professional. The staff wear earpieces to communicate with one another discreetly. It makes for a seamless process as you transition from the lobby to the exam room or to the payment office, etc. The staff is courteous and they ensure you are well taken care of. * Up-to-date. They stay updated with technology so I know they are using the latest and best devices. Even when Dr. Leoni left, they were quick to update their website, in-lobby television ads, and exterior window signage. Overall (and despite the money I've paid), I am a completely satisfied patient and I know I have found a great dental team. I started with Dr. Randal Leoni, who was patient and took excellent care of me and my teeth. I now have Dr. Andy Lou who helps to make sure I have the same great care. I really enjoyed the techs (especially Eva) who have helped with my dental work as well. My crowns are not all the way up to my gum lines so their decaying in that space. It is costing me at near $10,000 fix her mistakes. Besides the money,I was a cash paying patient. I have lost a few of my teeth. Which when confronted with a phone call she won't respond. She had annette (who is well never have a bad work about) respond. When I wrote a letter asking for my money back seeing as how I was paying over $10,000 to fix her work she barely responded and wanted me to sign papers saying I would never speak of this again for $300 I refused. I think she only cares about money now not her patients and doesn't use quality materials to fix her patients teeth. Some of my fillings feel out a week later while I was out of state. Not a good feeling. And then for her to not even speak to me was worse. After about 10 years of her being my doctor was just devastating.
