Lovely experience! I have never liked going to the dentist, but I must say I don't mind coming here. Everyone is so pleasant, and more importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE. This office shares a parking lot with other businesses and I have never had trouble finding parking. The receptionist is really cool. The hygienists are incredible. And Dr. Blackmon is one of the best at what he does. Every visit so far has been painless and that is uber important to me! I am a chicken when it comes to dentist work. The facility is very cozy. Not the biggest office but they get the job done with quality. I've only been here a handful of times and most of the time it's not even for me. I think the receptionist is prejudice against Afro-Americans. I will never return to Dr Blackmon for my dental work. I think the receptionist's name is Donna. She seems to only care about the finances and after want you to pay with your credit cards. So I found a new dental office which I will have my dental work completed. Dr Blackmon is Afro American and I never seen any Afro Americans employees from 2020 to 2024. A red flag. If his receptionist not careful Dr Blackmon will loose patients. read more

This dentist knows better then to cap or crown a tooth, especially if he knew no way to save the tooth, he's been in business to many years. Takes advantage of his patents. Office visit 01/30/2018 My experience was wonderful! I hadn't visited the dentist in about 3 years. My prior experiences with a couple of dental offices, corporate chains, were not positive, so I had been procrastinating about going to the dentist. Not that I am terrified of dental procedures, it's that, the dental procedures that I had, I think, were unnecessary and quite expensive even with great dental insurance. It was about the "dollar" and not about good dental health, at other dental offices. I didn't encounter that at all at Dr. Blackmon's office. Dr. Blackmon was friendly, personable, approachable, but, professional. He gave me his professional summary of my dental health, which was very surprising to me but very pleasing. No cavities, and no dental work needed. I thought for sure after NOT seeing a dentist in 3 years something would surely be amiss! And, for a 64 year old, he, probably could have sold me on something. Dr. Blackmon didn't try to sale me on any unnecessary procedure. He was polite and honest!! Hopefully, I will be in good dental health for a long time, however, if Dr. Blackmon ever recommends a procedure to me in the future, I will "trust" that it is definitely needed. Dr. Blackmon and his team are awesome! I have NEVER had a wonderful experience going to the dentist! His staff is GREAT!!! Very professional and polite, it's always a pleasure. Dr. Blackmon cares about the people and always recommends the best type of treatment. He could have easily recommended cosmetic treatment for me to have the smile I wanted which would have cost me lots of $$$$$ however he referred me to one of the orthodontist he works with and preferred that I discuss treatment with them before we explored other options. I love how he cared more about what was best for me and not his pocket. I have never had such a wonderful experience in going to the dentist or looked forward to going, I had to get a crown and two cavities filled and he had me out of there in no time. When I check in the longest I've ever had to wait was 10 min if that and once I'm back in the chair my visit starts within minutes. I have been saying for years I was going to switch dentist and I'm glad I did. The dentist I use to go to told me my daughter had 4 cavities and when we joined this office I was told she had none.
