Patients should review all documents carefully before signing, as additional procedures--such as fluoride applications--may be included during a routine cleaning without clear consent, only becoming apparent when the bill arrives. There is also significant pressure to agree to extra treatments, including laser treatment, X-rays (even when they have been performed recently). Declining these recommendations can result in a noticeably different experience, including extended wait times, with the implication that refusal has disrupted the schedule.

My last two visits I waited 30+ minutes after my appointment time before I was even admitted. The second time they actually ran out of chairs so I ended up standing in the waiting room. Once in I was rushed through my checkup and the dentist missed a major issue, which was confirmed by another dentist at another place who even showed me the x ray. The next visit the told me they told me I would be able to get a deep cleaning. I confirmed with the receptionist that day that a deep cleaning would happen but after waiting 45 minutes I was rushed through an exam then told this was just an exam and not a cleaning. Additionally they told me they do not do cleanings without prior approval from the insurance company and that it would take 2 weeks because they have to fax the insurance company the details. Very different than what I was told at the front desk. Also different than what happened 2 or 3 years ago when I went there. After two weeks I contacted the insurance company and they told me they gave all the details to them the day of appointment and they had never recieved an authorization request (which they accept via email, again different than the office told me). I called the dental office and they told me even if they emailed today it has to go through a 3rd party provider that they cannot connect me with or prove a phone number to. I asked why I am doing all the work when it appears that either they or their 3rd party appears to have dropped the ball. They stated they do not contact insurance companies. I simply went to another office and got treatment before they even sent me a followup message (which took another month) If you care about timely care, an accurate diagnosis, or accurate description of services, I would advise going somewhere else.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Image Dentistry in Moreno Valley. I've always hated…read moregoing to the dentist because I have a really low pain tolerance, and in the past I've had some bad experiences with other dentists around the Inland Empire that honestly made my teeth worse and left me scared to ever go back to any dentists. I was living with pain for a long time because I was too nervous to risk going through that again. But this place completely changed everything for me. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel comfortable. Nancy and Asuzena at the front office are super sweet, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They make everything smooth and stress free, and you can tell they truly care about patients. The dental assistants are just as amazing Victor and Karla always take care of me when I come in, and they are incredibly patient, sweet, and understanding. They make sure I'm comfortable the entire time and always check in on me, which means a lot. And Dr. Tedim I don't even know how to explain how great he is. He is incredibly patient, gentle, and kind. He takes his time, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you feel calm before starting anything. I've had fillings, crowns, and even root canals done here, and I genuinely did not feel any pain. That was something I never thought I'd be able to say about dental work. For someone like me who is super sensitive to pain and already anxious about dentists, this experience was honestly life changing. I finally feel like I can trust a dentist again. Hands down, this is the best and cleanest dental clinic I've ever been to, and I would honestly say one of the best in California. If you're scared of the dentist or have had bad experiences in the past, this is the place you need to go. I literally recommended it to all my family and friends. Go ahead and book your appointment with no hesitation, but please leave a spot for me lol.

I have been taking my daughter here for almost a year .Back in September 2025, which was her last…read morecleaning, I went up to the front desk to let them know my insurance was changing and when I receive my insurance card I will come in and update my information. The woman at the front desk told me I could just text them the information because it's "much easier" and so I sent a photo of the front and back on November 10, 2025. Fast forward to March 2026 I receive a missed call and voicemail from their office telling me that her insurance is terminated and do I have any other insurance? When I went into the office, I asked if they had my current insurance info and they still had my old insurance in the system. I asked Azusena (the lady at the front desk) how could that be..she said, "let me go into the texts....oh it looks like we just didn't download the images." Well now we've done x-rays and are ready to be seen by dr. Ted Im who we've never seen before so I thought he would at least look into his patients files before seeing them. He was surprised to see that my daughter wear Invisalign (thank you dr. Larson-Riverside specialist!!) and Dr. Im went into a ten minute lecture with an upset tone about how she needs to wear them everyday or her teeth will be messed up, she needs to brush better, maybe I should get her a water floss so she can be more consistent. So I asked "does she have cavities?" Because in my mind there must be a reason he's saying all this and he's response was "nope, no cavities " and then just walked out. After he walked out his assistant Karla said she would be doing the cleaning and used red toothpaste. As she's cleaning she is shaking her head and smacking her teeth like she is upset. She looked up and asked me if my daughters gum bleed a lot because she is seeing a lot of bleeding. I said that all I saw was the red toothpaste...she goes "well yes it is red but I am telling you she needs to brush better- there is too much bleeding" After that, I didn't even bother to make another appt. From the front desk not updating what only took ten minutes to verify (and that's upsetting because that would've been $357 charge straight to me) To the Dr. and assistant just being rude for no reason.

It is a challenging choice to write a review for a healthcare provider with your real identity, and…read moreit's doubly challenging to do so with a healthcare provider who has a partnership with the SB sheriff's department. Sellas is a very available dentist and saw me within a week of my referral; something I assumed was coincidental but quickly learned was a result of his loss of composure and professionalism. If you were booked for a procedure without consultation, that isn't convenient or a mistake. That is an intentional process so that you are prepped for surgery and then rushed for the bill before anything can go forward. The staff, particularly one individual, is VERY pushy about the billing. They will attempt to get you to sign up for an aggressive credit card to pay the bill. Additionally, if you don't have a good relationship with your dentist, you may fall for their predatory desire to go for more procedures than are needed. His inappropriate bedside manner began when he was going over the procedure with my partner and me and didn't end when I had a conversation with him on my post-surgery check-up. I have not and probably never will be an oral surgeon, but I know it's not okay to tell male patients that they're lucky they're not a woman because oral infections are more likely for people on their period. He also made snide remarks about my career and my income in both of my meetings with him. In fact, it was that 2nd time that made me pull him aside and discuss his unprofessional language, but it's probably all for not, as you can't teach an old dog new tricks, especially if that old dog was doing very well for themselves in regards to number of patients (He'll tell you that he's done +100,000 surgeries). I wondered how he was so successful in his practice by referrals alone, but he didn't let me wonder long. He's happy to tell you he's the oral surgeon for the county jail. If you're unfamiliar with that type of work, it's a very lucrative career move that isn't a result of effective and good medical practice. Lastly, if you're on his staff, what you think he's probably saying about you when no one is listening is what he is probably saying. TL;dr: CONS: Sellas is not afraid to bother and annoy you once you've paid him. He will attempt to do unnecessary procedures. He's a jail dentist with a cop attitude. He has issues with communicating to-and-about women. When given a chance to discuss his inappropriate manner alone he proceeded to double down and tell me about his relatives business on giving "boob jobs" and how the credit card partnership is on behalf of his "women" (staff). Pros: Widely available for all reasons mentioned above.

I came here a little over year ago to find relief for an unbearable toothache (which resulted in me getting a root canal and crown) that my regular dentist could not help me with and have stayed a loyal patient with CCD since then. In my experience with Canyon Crest Dental, they set the bar high compared to other dental offices for number of reasons: * Employees. They have happy employees ready to help. Even when walking in, they are ready to make sure you are checked in for your appointment. They always look polished and professional. They always have a smile and I like that! * Communication. Communication is great. They pick up the phone in a timely manner and help answer your question quickly. And they are ready to follow-up with you. Even by email, they are quick to respond to your question. * Appointments. Scheduling appointments is easy. And they have multiple reminders (e.g., text, email, etc.) leading up to the appointment to ensure your appointment is confirmed. Before I leave, they make sure I already have my next appointment in their system. * Cleanliness. It smells clean upon entering and appears clean as well. The aesthetic already puts you in a good mood even if you're anxious about a procedure. This makes me feel great about coming here. * Comfortable. During each visit, they made me feel comfortable and informed me about what they were doing throughout the process so that I can sit and let them do the work. They make sure you have shades on so you don't get the bright lights or gunk on you. I've also been offered a blanket to feel comfortable and was offered bottled water during my wait. * Professional. The staff wear earpieces to communicate with one another discreetly. It makes for a seamless process as you transition from the lobby to the exam room or to the payment office, etc. The staff is courteous and they ensure you are well taken care of. * Up-to-date. They stay updated with technology so I know they are using the latest and best devices. Even when Dr. Leoni left, they were quick to update their website, in-lobby television ads, and exterior window signage. Overall (and despite the money I've paid), I am a completely satisfied patient and I know I have found a great dental team. I started with Dr. Randal Leoni, who was patient and took excellent care of me and my teeth. I now have Dr. Andy Lou who helps to make sure I have the same great care. I really enjoyed the techs (especially Eva) who have helped with my dental work as well. Highly recommend if you're within the vicinity looking for a superior dental team (from front desk, to billing, to actual dental work, etc.) and a top tier company.
