Kylie, the manager, said they do adjustments from 9-5 Monday through Saturdays, but we would have to wear masks which was fine. They do not charge for adjustments. We arrived at around 4PM and had to call the phone number on the door because the door was locked. Kylie answered and she was able to help us. She put on gloves, took our temperatures, and let us inside. Then she asked me what was the issue with my glasses and did a quick check of how my glasses were sitting on my ears. She adjusted them and gave them back to me to wear and reassured me to take my take because she understood that typically you'd have to wear your glasses for 5 minutes to actually see if it fit. We went back and forth a bit before my glasses were comfortable. Kylie is so attentive and caring! She is so sweet and her customer service is wonderful. I highly recommend getting glasses or any adjustments here if you can.

The selection on glass, sunglasses, and accessories is decent, and they carry brands that I haven't seen at many other shops, such as Shaq's. The high-tech comprehensive eye exam, and multiple rooms that you move in and out of have soft lighting and have helpful info posters. The two staff that we've interacted with are knowledgable and patient enough to answer any questions we have without unnecessary attitude, and making appointments is as easy as a quick phone call. The wait has never been too long, and there's a TV screen in the small waiting room that seems to have eye health-related commercials on a loop that can be interesting to watch. I inquired what that meant and she was vague, but it sounded like if I was more than 15 minutes late they wouldn't be able to see me. I arrived 10 minutes late. 40 minutes later I was still sitting in the waiting room, I had not seen any nurse or doctor. I left. Why did I only get a 15 minute grace period. And the Optometrist Dr. Guy Dietels, in Roanoke, Virginia, is a perfect example. Having no association with Sam's Club itself, this visual exam facility is operated by Dr. Guy Dietels, an independent Doctor of Optometry. But don't let its small size fool you. The office is clean, organized, and well equipped with all the required equipment for the Optometrist to perform an excellent eye examination to prescribe eyeglasses, and make a diagnosis of the condition of your eyes. The administrative assistants are very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The first time I visited, one of them was very helpful in finding out if my insurance covered my eye examination there, and later on when I phoned her, in scheduling an appointment on a convenient day for me. Today, when I went for my appointment to have my eyes checked by Dr. Dietels, the other, also very friendly, administrative assistant, welcomed me and had me fill out the new patient form, after having a look of my insurance card. She then very professionally performed the preliminary eye tests, and had me take a seat to wait for the Doctor to see me. All the positive feedbacks that I had received about Dr. Dietels, none even compared to the wonderful person as well as professional that he was. He introduced himself to me, and was very kind, courteous, and professional throughout the entire examination. He took his time examining my eyes to make sure my eyeglasses prescription came out perfect, as well as performing all the other routine tests, and dilated my eyes to check for any abnormalities. Everything came out well and I walked out of the office with the satisfaction of having had Dr. Dietels far exceeding the high expectations I had of him. But the last eyeglasses I bought there, which had a Chesterfield Titanium frame, had one of the plastic nose grip fall from the frame, and so I needed to have it repaired. Since I was going to be doing some errands today near their Valley View Blvd Optometry Center, I phoned them the day before to see if I could take my eyeglasses to their office to get fixed. A very nice and friendly lady answered the phone, told me I could, that they opened at 8:30am, and gave me directions to their office. I was very impressed with the wonderful customer service that I received during this telephone call and looked forward to visiting this Center. When I got there, the place was very clean and modern and nicely decorated for the Holidays. As soon as I walked in the door, a friendly and very hospitable lady asked me what I needed and after I explained, she took my eyeglasses and went to work inside. Soon afterwards she came out and had replaced the plastic nose grips with a little larger size ones that were stronger and felt more comfortable. And I was out of there with my repaired eyeglasses in minutes. I confirmed that the consistency of quality service was reflected in all the Johnson Curran Optometry Center the same.
