    Garbage Pizza Delicious!

Best damn garbage pizza around. And half-off pizzas on Monday's! Besides being a great local sports bar with volleyball tournaments, the food here is delicious. I have been eating here for over 20 years and have not had a bad experience. I signed closing documents on my house while eating a delicious Big JO burger back in 03 and that burger is just as delicious today.

Menu. Chicken Fajita Wrap. That is what I ordered. Not what I got. Though, it was tasty

Tasty, but not as advertised. First wrap did not mention cheese. It came with cheese. Second wrap said it would have avocado. There was none. Wait staff was sorry and very nice, but that was about it. Nice outdoor seating, but please provide what you say.

Today my cousin had breakfast at Jesse oaks and wanted to write a review. He ordered the hash browns, quesadilla with sausages added, and salsa on the side. He loved the hash browns the best. He says he would order it all over again. Not a place he'd go straight to for breakfast but will eat if he's here.

Look at the tiny, cheap and thin cheese in this Triple Grilled Cheese. It was also hard as heck. My daughter couldn't eat it.

First time ordering from here. It's a big disappointment. The Triple Grilled Cheese Sandwich was hard and only had one cheap American cheese in between breads. That was not food, 5 bucks for that piece of $hit. The Taco Salad for 9 bucks was disgusting as well, I thought it would come with a big taco shell but they only put a couple of pieces of nacho chips, and the ground beef was like the scraped, burnt meat from a pan. The sour cream had the texture of cream cheese. Jesse Oaks Chips was about 2 to 3 ounces for $6 and some were soggy. Geezus. Never again. We still haven't even touched the burrito and scared to be disappointed with that, too. PS. I heat up the burrito and when I took a bite, it wasn't steak they was in it! It doesn't even taste like real ground beef!!! Wtf

Service was excellent every Grundy and personable. Pizzas was good, thin crust. Great atmosphere. Felt like I was back in Wisconsin.

Here is proof that I had an order and it was canceled leaving me hungry for the night.

I ordered a meal and it was canceled after paying for the meal. When trying to find a resolution the Bar Manager talked negatively behind my back. I was able to over hear her talking very negativly When speaking to the owner there was no apology for service that was highly unprofessional. The small resolution he did offer for my food not arriving and being without food was not reasonable. The owner took no responsibility for his staff talking behind a customers back negativly. I am open still to hear a personal apology.

LOVE this place on sundays! My f er iends and I go for music on the patio. The people are all regular Joe's and friendly. You can bring your dog to the patio as well and sit under the umbrellas if you like. The food is actually quite good! Pizza, and the BLT wraps are 2 of my faves but you cant go wrong frankly.

Great food. The thin crust pizza is excellent and the taco special on Sundays is really good and inexpensive. Friendly staff!

For my meal, I ordered the lake forest breakfast. The ingredients were all fresh and the combination of meat, potatoes, and vegetables made for the perfect balanced breakfast. I felt as light as a feather afterwards! I was told the avocado toast and cobb salad were delicious as well. Inside is an English style pub with very dim lights. There are cozy booths and tables that give such a calming aura where you can have quiet conversation for any time of day. Will definitely be revisiting.

The menu sounded delicious. They serve a complimentary bread with butter, but we didn't receive any until we noticed another table did as soon as they sat down. So I asked. And eventually someone brought exactly two over and plopped them down on one of our very dirty, used plates. My favorite part was when the server so confidently plopped down the extremely burnt roll and scurried off. So I asked if they could bring out a new roll and butter. Never received either. To start we ordered the Burrata and the Steak Frites. The Burrata was good and I enjoyed the bread it was served with, but the tomatoes could've been in more bite-sized pieces since they were chunks. The Steak Frites was good too... the steak had the allusive butter. The fries were crisp, I didn't try the onion rings though. I wasn't intending to eat much of this dish, but without asking, the kitchen decided to fully split the dish. Not a big deal and I kind of get thinking. The bread thing was weird. Then there was this weird moment where they just tossed a box on the side of the table and scurried off again. The entire time I felt like my presence was inconveniencing them from doing their job. The whole thing felt awkward and gave a sense like they were bothered by something. Perhaps the way I was dressed, but it's a pub for crying out loud, and if I walked down the street to Le Colonial with how I was dressed, LC wouldn't have even batted an eye or had an attitude when it came to service. So next time I'll walk down the street to LC.

The Yelp reviews were mostly five stars, and it was touted to be a locals' favorite, so we decided to give it a try. We both chose the patty melt with a cup of vegetable soup. Established (as the wall told me) in 1936, I expected "Polish" to be in menu alone...and I was wrong. The gal behind the bar had an accent. Halfway through the Bears game, I started hearing folks concerning and cheering in Polish. I felt like I had slipped into a cool little club to which I would never have otherwise been invited. Loud (but not too loud) and boisterous. I read some other reviews talking about rude regulars: rubbish. Chicago is loud and direct. If you don't like that vibe, the shoulders in this city may just be a little too broad for you. The pierogi and the pyzy were great, both served with sour cream. The beers, while not draft, had a wide, Euro-leaning selection but still respected some local favorites (Old Style). Good food. Good folks. Confusingly brilliant ambiance. You're missing out if you skip The Log Cabin.
