Jerusalem Place was 80% full 5:30PM on a Thursday. Long bench/booths for dine-in. Lots of parking in the free communal parking lot for this strip mall too. We tried dining in. Easy to order. 2 gender-neutral bathrooms. BUT the place was Way too busy by 6:30PM. Huge line of people waiting to pay that we could not get a take-out container, had to push to the front to even get another spoon. Dine-in you get free tea and a dessert but considering how busy it was this was not worth it. Teas was great and got many many refills. Dessert was 6/10, but free so I can't complain much! Staff were all very kind. Was very very drafty and cold every time someone came in as well. Family Plate for 3 (Shawarma) and Arabi Style Shawarma were 10/10 good. Wish there were more wraps less French fries on the Arabi one as the wraps were 12/10 delicious. Garlic sauce was our favorite too. Overall the food was top-notch but dine-in experience was not fun.

We are big big fans of Jerusalem Shawarma. Our whole family enjoys going here and the food. Very filling and portions are exceptionally generous. The most recent visit we ordered the Royal BBQ Plate $25.95 - kabobs, rice and salad. As well as a side of fries $5.95. It was a so nice while we waited to enjoy some tea and baklava. I love the atmosphere here, the staff smile, make eye contact and are great for refilling my tea plenty of times! In past visits we've come and enjoyed the wraps; the wraps are definitely a favourite as they are absolutely massive for one person to eat and the sauces and pickled veggies just make these like no others. As this is part of a mall area with lots of other shops parking can get busy as can the limited seating at this location. The staff also do a good job of cleaning the tables and keeping the area clean overall. Tidy bathrooms and a baby change table is here.

Stopped into location on the northside to grab a quick bite and the platters always slap. For about $20, this came with a literal mountain of food - chicken shawarma, rice, salad, hummus, roasted potatoes and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce here is SO GOOD - light and airy, almost like a savoury, garlicky whipped cream. I also appreciate that if you dine in, you are offered a free small cup of hot tea (it's slightly sweetened) and a baklava. It's always busy but it moves quickly - they have their assembly line figured out well!

The food is amazing and so are the staff. They greet you with free tea and desserts, and the food is always delicious.

We ordered a family plate for 4, and I can't believe the portion is huge for 5 girls who I think can't eat that much, lol. What I love about this platter is that it has everything in it, chicken, beef, salad, potatoes, rice, pita bread, and 3 types of sauce. Such a feast.

Shawarma plates are good.... lots of food for 4-6 people. A bit chaotic inside, but fairly quick service.

The ambiance and atmosphere are very warm and inviting and I can say the same about the service. Our server was helpful, friendly and informative. I ordered the beef souvlaki lunch plate which came with rice and salad as well as a choice of garlic sauce, tzatziki, or tahini. We were also offered some homemade hot sauce as well. The food tasted really good and my colleagues enjoyed theirs as well. I'd like to visit again to try more of their menu. They have plenty of dishes that would be good for sharing as well.

It is really cute inside full of trinkets from Egypt that make you feel like you are in a baazar. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Really loved the customer service. We decided on a few dishes to try. We decided on the Chef's Platter that serves 2-3 although unless you have an appetite of a lumberjack, it will feed more. It comes with - Salad, Hawawshi (flatbread filled with meat), kushari (Egypt's national dish consisting of lentils and macaroni), baba Ganooj, Musakka as well as a bunch of skewers. Chicken, beef, kabab skewers, lamb shank and rice. We also ordered Egyptian tea which was delightful. Food took a while to come out. However it was all good except the lamb shank was on the dry side which was disappointing. I really enjoyed the salad and the baba ganooj. My husband enjoyed the meat dishes. However we both loved the Hawawshi. Give it a try!

My fiancé and I typically share one order of chicken kabab as there is plenty of food for us. Their rice really stands out, which is so crucial when it is the base of this genre of cuisine. It has so much zest! The meals include delicious humus, and kebab-shop sauce (white garlic sauce). Further they have an unreal delicious salad included, which is particularly appreciated considering most shops put little to no effort into an included salad due to it not being the main dish. The attention to detail from the team at Kabsa is fabulous. Could not be happier having found my new summer-time staple!

This place is tucked away in a strip mall in the north end. Pretty basic on the inside, but clean. It is a little confusing though, because they hand you the menus, and then they don't say that you needed to go up to order. We figured this out, but another couple left and I think it was I think that they thought they were not being served. Thorough menu but no real vegatarian options (just salad and hummus). I was surprised that there wasn't a falafel dish. Anyway, Hubby decided on the Iraqi kabobs, kiddo 1 went with a chicken shamarma wrap, and I chose the grilled fish. Birthday girl got the fries. Food came out a bit on the slow side, but it was really busy in there. Food was flavourful. My husband and I got a complimentary soup which was rich in taste. My fish was perfectly grilled, and it came with a boatload of seasoned rice. Hubby's kababs were spicy and delicious and came with the same rice as I but also a side salad and hummus and pita. I sampled the hummus and it was delicous. Nice and creamy. Both kids were excited about their dishes. Perhaps a little on the high side for price considering the ambiance, but food was good. I would come here again.
