    Muhammara
    Jessie W.

This restaurant is great for all events and occasions! The food was amazing. We had the muhammara, which is such a tasty and underrated dip. The tabbouleh was tasty but more tangy/acidic than usual. I highly recommend the cheese and zaatar manakeesh as well. We shared the mixed grill (not pictured). The meat was well seasoned and very tender. I'd recommend getting rice over fries. The hummus is tasty but very mild in flavour. The service was good at the beginning, however they never returned to refill waters or check-in. It was also very difficult to get their attention for assistance.

Came here for lunch with my coworkers. Lots of parking in the communal area. Place was completely empty 11:45AM until 12:45AM when 1 other couple showed up. Waitress was kind helping us identify difference in items and ingredients in others as menu is unclear if items come with rice, bread, etc. Menu needs pictures! For those of us unfamiliar with this cuisine. I love that they have a kids play-place! I wonder how extensive it is....you can just see it from our table. Love the free bread and hummus! Hummus was delicious and bread was still steaming when it was brought out! I got the Saj Tabliyeh Chicken wrap $14. And substituted fries for lentil soup for an extra 2.99. Soup was good, light flavor, no chunks of whole lentils. Wrap was good too - I wish there was more in it - more chicken, more pickled veg, more garlic sauce. Instead the garlic sauce is on the side. Portion was quite small for the price. Friend got the chicken shawarma wrap and it was Tiny. $12. She also paid extra for a salad instead of fries. Friend 2 got the Chicken Shawarma plate with rice $19. ( get to choose rice or bread). It is supposed to come with onion and pickles but she asked to exclude those. She was happy with her portion as she took half home for a second meal. For just diced chicken and rice I thought it was overpriced. Overall decent food, love the free starter and it Almost offsets how much to food costs.

So I finally was able to try this place after being recommended so many times by my barber Alex, first thing to talk about is the restaurant, the restaurant is so beautiful and I love the entrance fountain is very unique and fancy, I was there around 8 so it wasn't so busy, I first ordered the three type of hummus and the cauliflower bite things, they were ok not so amazing and I found it to be way to flavourful and couldn't really taste the other stuff, then I ordered the beef platter which was ok, I find it to have waaaay to much rice and barely any meat and some of the meat was very over cooked. The service was probably the most downside of things, the service was really bad it took forever to order our food and we never got our drinks topped off or asked if we needed anything else to drink. Over all it was an ok expirence, for the drive is not worth it just yet.

I have ordered delivery from here and I have eaten in. It's really good food. There is a cultural heritage to this food that is relevant to the experience of eating it. Think Mediterranean... Breads... Olives.... Oils....more breads... Sesame seeds.. Nuts... The coffee was delicious and I'm not a coffee fusser but this coffee was dark and rich. Lots of parking. Bathrooms are lovely. Service was attentive. Lots of seating. There is a children's Playland.

I drive by this restaurant all the time thinking I'm going to try this place one day... Sometimes it can be intimidating to go in a restaurant when you're not sure what to expect. On a lazy day I decided to try this place on skip the dishes. The bread was fresh, the falafel wrap tasted amazing, salads were yummy, the presentation for delivery was impressive. So on a weekend my sister and I wanted to dine in for supper. Ok ... It's very busy but we got a table with a fantastic server who was so kind to walk us through the menu. I ordered a saj chicken wrap with the side salad, my sister had the falafel wrap with fries, and we started with the mezza plate which had hummus, moutabbal, and tabbouleh. The food came out fresh and all tasted really good. We definitely made this restaurant a place to go every so often especially for lunch when it's less busy. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is lovely inside. I highly recommend trying this place.

Delicious Lebanese cuisine! This restaurant is clean, modern, comfortable, and most importantly the food is amazing. We dropped in for lunch and ordered the fatoush salad, chicken & beef shawarma, and the super kafta wrap. I also ordered the Paramount special juice drink to go with all the delicious food. The complimentary pita was to die for...unlike any pita I've had in the past. Fresh out of the oven, fluffy and soft. Shawarma and kafta wrap we're also delicious. They even have a kids playground for the kiddos. Will definitely be back to try their dinner!

ALHAMDULILAH for this place! We were recommended this place in Edmonton from my uncle-in-law. We drove the 3 hours from Jasper just for this & BOY did this place not disappointment. Here's the get-down: 1. Come in & you'll be seated w/ menus. 2. Look at it at your own pace, pick out some stuff & then go to the take order window BUT make sure you know your table number - that's the place they'll serve it to you. Now, for three people we ordered a LOT (mainly cause I was starved AND everything looked really tasty) * Yalla Fries HOLY SMOKES. Chicken Shwarma, French Fries topped with cilantro & boat loads of garlic sauce. This was the FIRST thing that caught my eye as soon as I opened the menu. Although the amount of chicken was a bit skimish compared to the fries, I still thoroughly enjoyed each savory bite. Definitely something I would attempt to make at home! * Mixed BBQ Platter (half portion) For 3 people, I think this was a LOT. It came with multiple different types of meat skewers, and ALL tasted fresh. I'm usually a chicken gal, but I gotta say that the way the lamb was cooked made me have that more than either the beef or chicken. * Beef & Cheese Manakeesh WOWZA for this dish. I guess this is what they call a med type pizza? We were originally thinking just beef but when does cheese ever make something taste bad? Fully cooked beef mixed in with tomato's & so much cheese * Paramont Special I actually saw another customer pull a kiwi out of her drink and then did the investigation to figure out what this was. Mixed fruits, mango & strawberry juices + purée & tons of dry nuts is what truly made this refreshing to my taste buds. When the server was bringing this, she saw my face and immediately said "You look excited!" But like...why wouldn't I be?!!? #sweetTEETH + hummus & pita that were served at no cost ! Overall, I'm sad that I don't have anything close to this type of cuisine in Vegas but coming to Edmonton will always be on my mind if this place is the first to go. AMAZING !!

Heard about this place from a colleague and decided to give a try to authentic Lebanese cuisine. I never had authentic lebanese before and i was so excited to try out this place. This is the only fine dining restaurant of Paramount in Alberta. They also have presence in City Centre and West Edmonton Mall. I must say that we got impressed with their service and food. We made a reservation before to avoid any waiting time. But, it is okay to go without reservation also. I did some research of cuisine and their speciality before coming here. Order: Appetizer: Freshly made Puffball Pita served complimentary with trio of dips: Hummus, Mutabbal (Eggplant Dip) and Tabbouleh (made of finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, mint, lemon juice etc.) was the best complementary dish i have ever tried. Manakeesh: Try the local lebanese style pizza. I tried Cheese with Zaatar to get the aromatic flavour of Zaatar. Main Course: Mixed Grilled : This is the best dish to order and get a little bit taste of everything in their main menu like Shish tawouk, Kafta and beef with garlic dip and hummus and fries on side. Chicken Shawarma: How can i afford to miss the famous Chicken Shawarma. You can pair up your shawarma with Rice or Fattoush. We decided to go with Fattoush which is a famous and must try middle eastern salad (Healthy and yummy) served with fried Pita bread. Dessert: Baklawa: Most desired and richest lebanese dessert. I was trying for so long to try this amazing dessert. Qatayef: Sweet dumplings filled with cream and nuts is usually served during the month of Ramadan. I loved their collection of dessert. Rating: Taste: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Presentation: 4/5 Service: 5/5

We just had an incredible dinner here... we were being lazy and didn't feel like cooking tonight so Heather suggested Paramount Fine Foods as she had tried it on a work lunch a few weeks back. One of my favourite west end lunch spots was La Shish in Mayfield Common. Since it closed a while back I have been lacking a go to Lebanese spot. I have one now. They start by bringing you fresh, fluffy, warm tasty pita bread right out of the oven and keep it coming if you want more. We paired it with an order of hummus which was fresh made and delicious. For dinner we shared a Beef Shawarma Platter (with rice, salad, garlic sauce and pickled turnips and pickles) and a Tabbouleh Salad with Shish Tawouk (marinated chicken). Everything was literally perfect. Fresh, flavourful and cooked perfectly... hence the 5 Stars. Paramount will be a regular in our rotation... bonus it's so close to St. Albert!

Same experience 2nd time this time they screwed up my take out order and gave me beef and chicken instead of just chicken not sure how they did that blunder maybe screw up in the kitchen anyway 26 bucks later had to waste time and gas to go back and get it remade

Come for the kebabs, stay for the awesome garlic dip and jumbo inflated pita. Falafel is made fresh. Every kebab is great. Shrimp skewers not over cooked and a generous portion. Various flatbreads that we will have to try. Pizza for fussy non adventurous types- but you are missing out on great Middle Eastern food! Servers very friendly and always willing to bring more fresh out of the oven pita. Soon expanding to other locations in Edmonton. Worth the trip to North Edmonton.

Always a must when it's on the menu. - Beef shawarma ($8.00) - didn't try but our friends enjoyed it. - Trio platter ($20.00) - beef was the best of the bunch. The garlic sauce was great. Rice was a touch bland. Fattoush was okay. - Lamb mansaf ($20.00) - lamb shank was tender but plain. - Fatayer ($10.00 for 12) - you get to pick 3 flavours. We went with meat (my favourite), akawi (white brined cheese) and kishik (bulgur with milk/yoghurt). Good portions at RoB but very carb heavy.

Maghawee Lebanese Grill specializes in Lebanese cuisine. The focus of their menu is kabobs and pitas and everything is cooked while you wait. No warmed up or steam tray food here. When you walk in you're greeted by fabulous Lebanese scents which make your appetite that much stronger. I ordered the chicken kabob meal from their lunch menu and a pop. The price was a bit high for lunch, but I wanted it. As I waited in my banquette I listened to Lebanese music coming from the music videos on the wall mounted TV's. The server brought my lunch to me and then I realized why it was the price it was. Warm steamed pits, garlic dip, grilled chicken kabob, humus, tabbouleh, Lebanese veggies and cinnamon rice was what was for lunch. Yum! I was half way through my meal when the server came to check on me - good service, not too pushy and not not interested. Many people came and went during the course of my lunch for dine in and take out, which in my books is a good sign. After I finished my meal I was intercepted on my way to the washroom by the owner baring baklava for me. My gosh, this was the best baklava I've had - not too sweet or dripping with honey. He told me they have been in business since December and was glad that I enjoyed my lunch. That small gesture and general inquiry about my experience will make me come back.
