Got delivery from Skip the Dishes. Ordered for "between 5:45PM-6:15PM" - came at 6:05PM. Donair Cheese Bread ($15) - kids loved this. Great size, lots of Donair meat, dough is nice and fluffy. Chicken Shawarma Calzone ($18) - 10/10 I was really surprised by how much I liked this one. Bigger than I thought too - BUT it's a Lot of dough and I would have liked to see more chicken in it. But flavor was really really good and I would recommend this. Mixed Shawarma Wrap ($17) - friend said he liked it. I didn't try it. Mixed Shawarma Plate ($24) - I got the "lunch" portion. Definitely big enough for 1 person but still quite pricey. Came with free home-made dessert - Looked like a cornmeal cake but tasted amazing. Hubs and I were so excited to see Master Pita open up today in Tudor Glen, St. Albert! The owners are passionate about their food! I first saw the owner's post on a local community Facebook page drumming up excitement and explaining how their shawarma is made traditionally from never frozen meat. From the second we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and excitement! The atmosphere is bright, clean, and fresh! They are happy to accommodate in any way they can and will gladly give you recommendations of their favourites! We tried the chicken and beef shawarma plate, tabouli salad, and a few appies. Oh.Em.Gee. The chicken breast shawarma was so juicy, so flavorful... heaven. The garlic sauce was divine and the tabouli, the best I've ever had! The beef was also amazing, don't get me wrong - I just fell in love with the chicken dipped in the garlic sauce. Mmm... my mouth is watering right now just remembering it ;-) Seriously, loved everything we tried. One of my usual tests of Mediterranean food is the falafels. Will definitely be back to try soon with their homemade baba ganoj. If it's anywhere as near as good as the shawarma, I might be in trouble and I hope hubs understands that Master Pita is going to be on speed dial for our weekly takeout meal! I really enjoyed getting to meet the staff and owners. Everything is made with love in this family run business. Husband and wife team, Mazin and Moni, made us feel welcome and were happy to answer our questions. Chef Said checked in with hubs and I throughout our meal to get feedback and make suggestions based on our likes. What really stuck with me was Mazin's family history. He grew up in small town Lac la Biche where his parents ran a restaurant, The Baron, and were pioneers in bringing pizza to town for the first time. It's clear that a passion for entrepreneurship, quality food, and caring customer service runs in his bloodline. Mazin shared that he is also working on adding Mediterranean style flatbread pizza here as well! Master Pita has hit the mark for healthy, fresh, quality and affordable Lebanese cuisine! Simply the best Mediterranean food I have had this year and I enjoy it every chance I get. Besides good food, which was outstanding, the people in there were very, very nice. The inside was pretty clean and modern, not large but many of their orders were take out. Even though they were busy it was quiet and pleasant. Its just good food and nice people -- what more can you ask? read more

Absolutely LOVE the tabouli scooped up on lettuce leaves - could seriously eat this every day! Have tasted quite a few other dishes and been impressed with each one, so much flavor packed into them - even the rice is a different and delicious treat. We have been looking for a great shawarma place since moving from Ottawa and are we ever glad that Master Pita opened up here this month. The food is absolutely delicious but what makes this restaurant truly worth 5 stars are the incredible staff, especially Mona and her family. They are truly the most friendly and outgoing people and always go the extra mile with their service. We will now include Master Pita as a regular for those COVID take-out meals. Please give them a try - especially with new restrictions kicking in - this is a family business that we really want to survive! read more

We were excited to try Master Pita but everything came short. We called our order in and they told us 10-20min so we arrived 20min after the call. We arrived and they didnt have our order ready it would be another 10 minutes. So we waited. One of the workers had his mask on his chin while preparing all the food orders, and one of the workers was leaving the store had her mask on her chin while walking out the door past customers. We ordered a large beef kabab and large mixed shawarma. They were two different sizes for some reason and they were quite thin as I could easily close my hand around each of them. The beef kebab was dry and there were dry hard pieces of chicken in the shawarma. Probably just our experience but we wont be going back. read more

I have been ordering from this place for a couple months supporting them. But recently had a bad expirience and owner couldn't apologize or credit me anything, i wont be going back. All they had to do is fix the order but that was asking too much. Too bad companies don't care anymore read more

Excellent staff and service. The food is fairly good and fresh - about the same as Turquaz and La Shish, but their service outshines them.
