I came here under the impression that it was still Vision January 15th. My nipple ring had fallen…read moreout the day before and I needed help getting it back in. The woman who tried to help me couldn't get jewelry in a said I needed to be re-pierced... so she re-pierced it but had trouble getting it through. She also seemed to have no experience piercing at all and was expressing being scared to pierce people and doesn't like causing people pain... I noticed that she pierced it lower than it was and closer to my breast and not the same way that it was when she told me she would be re-piercing through the same holes and she didn't - she pierced lower towards my breast. I don't know if I have an infection or what is going on because it is over a month later and I'm having extreme pain in my nipple even when just putting on a shirt and my nipple looks larger or swollen compared to my other one still over a month later and with all of this pain. My boyfriend gave me a hug this morning and I screamed out in pain because even something that light is causing a shock of pain everytime even just putting a shirt on. I'm very experienced with piercings and have never had an infection before and I'm not sure what is going on because I don't seem to have any discolored puss but my nipple being enlarged and in this much pain is very concerning to me and I will be going to urgent care today and possibly another shop to try and find out what's wrong with my nipple. I'm very upset and disappointed and even more upset I paid $100+ to have an experience like this when I know Vision or even heart and dagger if they were still around wouldn't have charged me as much to re-pierce a nipple ring that just fell out the day before nonetheless wouldn't have caused me to have an issue/possible infection

The current jewelry was an opal and they weren't sure if they had it. The dude never stood up from the couch and asked a women to look for the opal. She didn't understand what an internally threaded ball was and that was what I needed for the rook. I assumed they were looking for it so I sat down waiting to be called. About 10 minutes go by. Another customer walks into the shop and gets all set up for her piercing with forms and jewelry and gets called back. So I ask about my jewelry. They hadn't even checked to see if they had it and turns out they don't! He came out with a belly button ring and when I ask "but will that work for my rook" and he replied no. They complete just ignored me because I didn't need a new piercing. So I wasted my time sitting there while they all sat on their phones and were going through another tattoo artists work in the waiting area and absolutely trash talking it. Overall extremely disappointed and will never be returning. You can better service somewhere else!

But all of that means nothing when the attitudes are trash. They made us feel so uncomfortable! Very rude, and felt profiled. Was on time for appointment with all the proper documents we needed( my license with married last name, her birth certificate with both my name and husband's name and her school ID). The girl behind the counter looked at me then looked at my daughter (who is biracial), looked at our paperwork and said it didn't match! At that point I wanted to leave but pressed on for the sake of my daughter. They then made a copy of our paperwork. The guy who was going to do the piercing was Very rude, unfriendly and full of bullsh**saying I couldn't take a picture of my daughter in the chair preparing for the piercing and literally tried to get me to sit in a chair where I couldn't even see the procedure. I asked why he said, You can't even take pictures in labor and delivery anymore so why would you take pictures in here? He then decided he didn't want to do the service for us. But our day got better because we ended up at Acceptance Body Piercing and we ended up having a wonderful experience there.

Ever walk into a tattoo shop and feel like you are inconveniencing the artist because they talk down or seem to be superior? I had a guy who tattoed me for years and was ALWAYS smug about it. Dozer and NY Tattoo Studio are unlike any shop/artist I've ever met. My wife and I walked in a random Sunday and showed some of the people working what we wanted and they were fully honest that they were not comfortable doing it because it was outside their realm of expertise. They called Dozer and he came in KILLED it. I did a great job and charged a fair price. My wife and I just went back and my wife's lotus flower he did our last visit she had a totally different concept on the existing original work and he came up with a beautiful way to pull off what she wanted. He connected with her on how and why she wanted it and poured his soul into the adaptation to her original design. I am working on basic equations on my lower arm and want to have a sleeve. Dozer asked me, "why" and when I told him the answer he blew my @#$% mind with theme idea to expand and make the tattoos even more meaningful. I've only had Dozer do the work but the other 2 artists at the shop are so warm and welcoming, very knowable and kind. I'm not used to that after 10 years of different artists these people create a welcome home atmosphere. Dozer knows his #$!t. I'm annoyingly inquisitive and asked hundreds of questions and he took time to answer and teach me all the stuff I was curious about. We went in for something that normally would have been 2 hours of work and ended up staying for 6 hours because we were hanging out and talking. Every time I've had a session (2 visits so far) I've felt nothing but expertise, kindness and being brought into a talented family. As you can tell I'm glowing because I'm just so happy with how kindly we were treated.
