First time at this business and the Jersey Mike chain in general where I was quite satisfied with the mini Club sub I purchased here. Hoagie bread is made in house with multiple types to choose from and the lunch meat is fresh sliced in front of you which I really liked. The toppings all appeared very fresh with multiple condiments to choose from resulting in a very tasty sandwich. Facility was clean and service was fast. Overall a nice place to go to if you are on the run and want a quick bite that is a notch above fast food! Tip - There is a Hortons next shop over offering you the ability to get a fresh hot cup of coffee to go with the meal and some desert options. Nice! read more

Your typical Jersey Mike's. I placed a pickup order here today with the points from my free birthday sub. I had never been to this location before, I usually go to the Troy or Novi locations. When I arrived, the email said to go to the pickup cart located by checkout, but there was nothing there. I saw there were three to-go containers behind the counter, so I waited by the pickup cart and finally someone came over to me and asked me my name for pickup. There were about five customers there and three employees, and only one employee and I were wearing masks... My order was correct and tasty, though, so I'd return to this location again for takeout. read more

I absolutely LOVE JERSEY MIKES. It runs circles around subway and Jimmy John and is really in a category of its own. They have some seriously fresh and delicious bread that tastes bakery fresh. The thing I like best about this place though is that they sliced their own deli meat in-house right when you order a sandwich so you don't forget something that's just been sitting out for a long time or a thin tiny piece of meat you get a generous portion of fresh cut meat in this makes all the difference. the sub shop reminds me of New York or Jersey. Monday July 26th at 6pm we came here for subs. There was a young woman and 2 young men that served us. They crushed a line of 8 plus customers in 5 minutes and I swear to god everything looked perfect. They don't teach customer service the way we experienced it that night. They all worked so well together and kept the energy in the restaurant positive despite how busy it was. Bravo! Will return to this location for sure. read more

I would not know what the food is like, I walked in the door and was the only customer in the building, and there were many employees working, and not once did anyone say hi or even ask if there was anything they could do to help me. I was in the store for almost 10 minutes, stupid me, thinking that they were all busy with other orders, so I needed to wait my turn, but still nobody acknowledged my presence. I stopped in to have a sandwich before an appointment. The sandwich was good just a little too soggy due to the overly generous application of the oil and vinegar. The staff was capable. One of the girls not friendly and rude... the other one was. I've just slow as molasses. Once I got my sandwich I sat down to notice there were no napkins in the dispenser at the table I was sitting at so I grabbed some from the table next to me... I also noticed there were about 4 other empty dispensers in the joint... as I was eating the 2 employees were both in the back on their phones only coming out to greet any new customers that walked in. I ate at Jersey Mike's for the first and likely last time today. I had the craving for a sandwich but did not want cold cuts; yelp pointed me in the direction of Jersey Mike's since they have grilled sandwiches. I placed a carry out order online for a buffalo chicken sandwich and sent my husband to pick it up. What he brought back can best be described as a sloppy, soggy, mess. The "sandwich" was overflowing with cheese and sauce to the point where the chicken was not only not visible but could not be tasted. The sauce was soaked through the bread and the sandwich was simply unpalatable. My husband's reaction was, "this can't be what the creator envisioned when they put this on the menu". I love jersey Mike's but mgt at this location needs to do a better job training employees. Went in today to order 2 subs, a number 7 with American cheese and number 9, very simple! Was never offered a choice of bread which didn't bother me that much because I like them all, but that's still the employees not doing their job. Secondly they originally got the cheese wrong on the number 9, apparently when you make a slight modification with this girl making the sub she gets super confused. And then I caught her putting ham on the sandwiches when neither one of them had ham in the ingredients, again the girl had no idea what she was doing. Had I not had have been standing there to watch they certainly would've screwed up the order. Beware when you go into this location YOU MUST MICROMANAGE whoever is making your sub and make sure they're making your sandwich correctly. Pretty pathetic for Jersey Mike's. read more

Meh. I've tried it twice. In all fairness, I've not tried any of their hot sandwiches, which might set them apart from every other sub sandwich chain on virtually every street corner. To the extent that we needed another sandwich shop overcharging for small portions of paper thin basic lunch meat in sandwiches loaded with lettuce and cheap fillers, I suppose this one is yet another tired attempt to fill that need. Isn't the market for these shops already tragically over saturated? At any rate, this place didn't do anything wrong, but it also didn't exceed expectations, at all. Unfortunately the new management is unable to provide good customer service. He doesn't speak English well so he has messed up my order multiple times. Decided to order online for better service and had it delivered. The sandwich tasted like it was made the day before. If you want a delicious sub skip this place. You would think that most subs are the same. I grew up in New Jersey and I expected Jersey Mike's to be the same as Subway and most of the rest. Well, they surprised me. Jersey Mike's subs are just like what I remember subs tasting like when I was a kid in NJ. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly that makes them so reminiscent of the subs I grew up with. I can say that the bread is the same. The meats are the same. The dressings are the same. The spices are the same. The whole package makes for a NJ sub experience. I did have one problem, otherwise I would rate them 5 stars. Their closed sign was on even though they should have been open. I had to call them to get in and even though it was about a half an hour before the posted closing time, All the food had been put away. The chips had been put away. They made me a sandwich after I called them on the phone and they let me in. But had I not called, I think they would have just kept customers away so they could have gone home as early as possible. But the sub was great and it reminded me of the subs I had as a kid. read more

We love this place. The #9 w/ roast beef and turkey club sub done Mike's way is fabulous! A hot sub was ok, but the bread really shines on the cold ones. The bread is amazing and the quality of the meat and cheese is probably the best I've had on a sandwich. The staff here is super friendly. She is a black female. She was working the shift Wednesday Jan 27 2021 at night. First time ordering a sub in advance. I should've known that unless i'm literally watching them and walking them through the order, that it will be wrong. Drove 45 minutes home and took the sandwich out of the bag- but the outside of the sandwich wrapper was dripping, soaking wet with dressing. unwrapped it and could only laugh at the sad, sopping white sponge they served me. I asked for the herb and cheese bread and they gave me shapeless, tasteless gluten free BS for bread. Don't know where they got the idea that that's what I wanted. they put more dressing on the sandwich than they did meat, which made it more like soup with added ingredients instead of a sandwich. They also forgot my side items that i was charged for, but thankfully I reminded them of this before driving off with my partial order. Not driving 45 minutes back there to have them make it right, so this was a waste of time and money. Jersey mike's is great, but make sure you watch their every move as they make your food, sort of like a first grader- otherwise it will not be made correctly. read more

I am a huge jersey mikes fan. I originally found it on 13 mile in Madison heights. I tried this one recently and I was disappointed. The bread wasn't as fresh, slightly soggy and I ate it right away. Awful service, 2nd time. Two girls were working. Order was to be ready at 1:29 PM.. per online ticket, I arrived at 1:31, order not ready. 5 people in line, and they hadnt even made the 2 (yes just 2) sandwiches on my order. Meanwhile, they acknowledge my presence but continue to serve those in line. We called 20 minutes earlier than the supposed 'ready' time. At 1;38 I had to ask them to make my sandwiches so i could get to my appt. which is why we called ahead. Girls seemed discombobulated.. not knowing what to work do first.. and one girl was taking money and preparing food with the same gloves on. That is careless - not hygienic nor safe especially now with COVID. Then we found out the sandwiches were made wrong. Missing the 'Mikes way sauce'. I walked in this location and the worker at the register greeted me and he proceeded to take my order at the register. a young lady comes out from the back and says "excuse me I can take your order here you know where the sign says order here" I said excuse me are you talking to me she says yeah can you not see the sign, it says order here with a nasty attitude. anyways needless to say that employee did not care about customer service nor does she like her job which is exactly why I will never visit this location again AND corporate did not even call me to apologize and when I called the manager the next day she didn't even care at all. read more

There were 4 people ahead of me and I had to beg the cashier to ring me which he couldn't do because he did not know how to operate the register. So far I am completely dissatisfied with this establishment that recently opened in West Bloomfield. I have gone 3 times and most likely won't EVER go again. The first time my husband and I ordered everything was fine. The second time they were out of whole wheat bread and it wasn't even crowded. I am diabetic so for me that's a show stopper. They offered me a whole wheat wrap which was awful. How does a sandwich shop run out of whole wheat in this day and age??? The third visit was today. I placed an order for my husband and I over the phone....two giant Italian subs, one on white bread and one on wheat. My husband picked them up and when he got home both were on white. I went all the way back and the guy remembered my order but simply said it didn't get written down. How does that happen?!?!? There was no attempt to quickly fix the situation. I had to wait until the people in line got their orders before they remade my sandwich. I had already taken my diabetic medication anticipating eating the sandwich my husband brought home the first time. While waiting for them to remake my sandwich my sugar began to drop which added stress to the situation. The only compensation I was offered was a coupon for a free 'regular' sub the next time I BUY one and a coupon for a free bag of chips and a pop on the next visit with the purchase of a regular sub. In other words I WAS NOT COMPENSATED because I am NOT GOING BACK! They did NOTHING to make me WANT TO COME BACK! Very poor customer service and even worse corrective action!!! You get 1st class service at the Stage Deli and when they screw up which is very rare they go overboard to make it up,,,,I will take my money there next time I want a good sandwich! It's taken me a while to write this review because I was waiting for the email and coupons I was promised by Danielle, one of the day managers Bridgette (who never spoke to me because she was too busy even though I called at 9:30 am before they even opened) and a young man that answered the phone when I called for a second time, which is when Bridgette told him to get my home address so I could be mailed some coupons ( I believe his name started with the letter "D"), however, I have yet to receive either. FYI...this happened in February 2017. My son ordered the # 55 giant when he got home and opened it he had been given the wrong order. I immediately called and Danielle answered the phone, I explained to her what happened. She told me they caught the error after my son had left and asked if he wanted to come back and get the correct sandwich I told her no so she took my name, cell and email and said I would receive coupons and to return on another day to get the correct sandwich for free. I went back the following week, mind you there was only 2 people sitting down eating and a gentleman in line with his son placing an order. When the young lady asked for my order I began to explain what happened with my sons order and she said we do not give out free subs you should have got it the same day. I told her I called and spoke with a Danielle and was told I could come in and get a free sub and that she also took all of my info, she pretended to look for my name and said she couldn't find anything and Danielle couldn't have told me that because corporate takes care of free coupons and I was lying. I asked for a manager and was told he wasn't in so I asked for his name and she said Anthony and began writing his name down for me. When I asked for her name she seemed to become upset and tore the paper off of the pad with Anthony's name on it slammed it on the counter and told me to get out, get out of my store!!! I asked the young lady who was also working for the persons name whom I was speaking with and she said her name is AMANDA!!!!!! I came home and called the corporate office, I spoke with Peggy who said they do not send out coupons, the individual restaurants take care of those situations.
