Every time I go to this store - and I try to avoid it - I get snark. The people are uniformly rude and unpleasant. The people in the Fairhaven store are always good-natured and helpful. I went to Wareham today to get a sandwich for my husband and he had two requests that deviated from the norm. The eye-rolls, heavy exhales, and snarky responses decided for me. The one good thing about this place is the friendliness of the employees. The rest is all down hill. Their prices are much higher than the going rate for what you get. They claim that this is because of their higher quality. That would be okay if they were actually better, but sadly they are not. The regular size sub (7 inch) is too small for me. The next size up is called "Giant". At 14-15 inches, it would be too big for all but the very biggest of eaters. My wife, who often can't finish a large D'Angelo's sub, felt hungry after eating a regular size steak and cheese from Mike's. We both felt that the meat was dry and over cooked. I ordered a #56 with Provolone cheese in place of American and asked for Tomatoes to be added (which don't normally come on a #56). The order was called in over the phone. We picked up the order at the shop and took it home to eat. The order slip that was stapled to the bag clearly showed my request for tomatoes, but there were none. The definition of a #56 includes "Extra Cheese". I did get the Provolone, but the quantity of cheese was even less than a previous sub I had with the regular amount of cheese. When I called in the order, I was told it would take 40 minutes to be ready. I thought that was excessive, but I agreed and confirmed that my pickup time would be 7:10. They said "Yes, 7:10". When I order a hot sub, I want to eat it while it is still hot, so I was sure to get there 5 minutes early to get it fresh off the grille. It turns out, even getting there 5 minutes early, it was already in a bag getting cold. As mentioned by another reviewer, if you have to wait, there is no place to sit, and no place to distance yourself from others waiting. A Mike's regular size Steak & Cheese is $8.75 and a Giant is $15.05. Compared to large size at D'angelo's at $10.69 and large at Minerva's at $10.15, both of which are much bigger than Mike's regular. read more

My order was late and my wife's BLT had bacon that was burnt black and I had to drive all the way back for a new one. The second one had barely any bacon at all on it and what was on it was not fully cooked and cold. How do you mess up a BLT especially for $10 bucks!!! I went to Jersey Mike's subs in Wareham on Christmas Eve after shopping nearby. I love their Portobella mushroom sandwich. This past summer and fall I spent most weekends in Quincy and had lunch at the Jersey Mike's in Quincy Point. I always ordered this sandwich and it was consistently delicious. The cost of the sandwich reads $8.95 on the flyer at the order window. However, in Wareham I was charged $9.91. I asked why it was more than the flyer. I was told the price went up. I asked where it said that. I was told it wasn't changed yet. I said I wanted to pay the price on the flyer. The woman in charge said the price increased. I had to decide what to do. I was hungry so I agreed to pay. But then I discovered that there was half as many mushrooms on the sandwich than the sandwich I got in Quincy. Then the bread got soggy and fell apart. This never happened at the Quincy store. Moral of the story - Don't eat at Jersey Mike's in Wareham. I never will again. read more

Friendly staff and decent subs cooked/made fresh. Like a few have said, not the cheapest around but what's cheap anymore? It's not overly expensive so I think opinions tend to be exaggerated a bit. Anyways, I'd go here over a place like Subway anytime...not even a difficult choice. This is a very clean store. Not much seating but they're working with limited space. I highly recommend (to the owner and management) a privacy fence along the side where there's additional seating. Can't imagine watching vehicles pull in or looking at the Dollar Tree offers much. Regardless, I'm glad to see more places like this in the area. We need it. read more

Pissed. This place sucks. I waited a whole hour for my subs and I pre ordered it online. Everyone else ordering there got their subs way before me. They sold and made atleast 50 subs before I left. They made it known that pre orders don't matter to them. I will not be coming back and I wish there was an option to put no stars because I would if I could because you don't even deserve this one star!! She kept telling everyone a few minutes but it was really an hour. Everhone who pre ordered waited longer than those who were coming in. This is the worst service I have ever received. If she was atleast honest and said another hour then okay I would've left and came back but she said a few minutes! Disappointed don't waste your time ordering online or comjng to this one to be honest. I love this chain but this location is the worst one so far that I have ever been at.
