Just picked up a to go order and tried this location as I was with family nearby and my #17 was my number 1 and it's a sad fail. Why is this sandwich so sad. We stop here from time to time on the way to the beach for quick subs. We don't expect gourmet, just easy sandwiches to eat at the beach. Yesterday was inedible for me and a joke for my husband. Husband had a half ham and Swiss with hot peppers and mayo. There was one layer of ham and one layer of Swiss. He had to take the cold cuts from one half and put it on the other to have something more than a bread sandwich. I had a half Club, roast beef, turkey, cheese and bacon with pickles and mayo. It was so salty, I spit it out, my fault based on what I ordered. I removed the bacon, still salty, I removed the pickles, still salty. I removed the turkey, no longer salty, but that is when I was able to taste the roast beef. Sir/ma'am - what is that! Dry, rubbery and tasted slightly like liver. My husband called the store to complain about his sandwich before he knew about mine. She kept asking his name, which he did give her and they did offer a refund, he refused the refund and advised them, they will see our names again when we post our review. This is my favorite Jersey Mike's, and we have been to many in New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, etc. The staff are very friendly, it's very clean. The food is always very fresh. We went the other day and a very friendly young man told us it was his second day there he made sure he cleaned the slicer, since I don't eat meat, I didn't even ask him to do that. I've ordered from this location quite a few times and it has always been consistent. One time I ordered a hot sub which was barely luke warm by the time I got home. HORRIBLE service. The female employee with long black hair and matching black nose ring makes you feel uncomfortable the minute you walk through the door. Huffing & puffing through out the entirety of your order and scoffing at having to take a break from her incessent gossiping with other employees to actually do her job. She even comes in on her off days/hours to sit around eating spreading her negative gossip to the employees who actually are working. And why does she never have a hair net on to cover up that long greasy hair? Disgusting. Sunday May 7th 2023 approx 3pm. My fiancé and I ordered 7 subs. 3 cheesesteaks and 4 deli sandwiches all regular size. We were asked to wait a little bit because they were "out of bread" even though they had 8-12 loafs in the bread cabinet which was clearly visible from the counter. We had no issues waiting as it was a big order. We left a 10% tip on a $92.xx order. We get home and not only do I have a ruined party because multiple orders were wrong, the bread was absolutely soaked and crumbling on the deli sandwiches and the cheesesteaks were not correct to the order (which was written down on a piece of paper). This isn't the first time, which is the reason for the 1 star. The staff was more than friendly, very cooperative and worked efficiently, however every time I come to this Jersey Mikes in particular there is absolutely no consistency whatsoever in terms of the order being correct. I would've gladly spent $150 at Poor Boys where I KNOW that it would've been right. Overall cleanliness of the place was alright, crumbs all over the tables but what do you expect from a busy sub shop? read more

I've been going to Jersey Mike's since they were born. And that was not a Jersey Mike's experience. Without real management, the millennial's will run the name into the ground. But it's not their fault, they're kids. I've been to this new location at least a half a dozen times since they opened, and none of the special procedures that made Jersey Mike's and poor boys special are being followed. For any people that experienced the way it is supposed to be, meaning everyone stays in their station and does their job. The slicer cuts the meat and cheese, the middle person does the condiments, and the cashier handles the money without going back to touching the food. Multiple times there was one person doing all three responsibilities while others are just standing around or cleaning. Millennial's need real managers to educate them so they have a chance in life. read more

They were good when they first opened, now I will order or call, at any point in the day and they say they are "out of bread" more than a handful of times. I always liked their sandwiches but today we got 2 Philly Cheesesteaks and they were smaller than just a couple weeks ago. Taste was still good but the amount of meat and over all size was noticeably different. A couple weeks ago the turkey and provolone cheese had minimal meat and cheese to the point the sandwich did not taste the same. very disappointing. This is not the only place. I went to Salad Works on Rt 37 and they are using a new bowl where the salads and 3/4 the size. Or less. at some point you need to say, I am better off buying the food and making it myself. The tuna sub seemed to be regular size and filled. l like the subs but almost $11 for a minimal cheese steak with minimal filling is a bit too much. read more

My first try at a Jersey Mike's was today. The thinnest cuts of cheese and turkey I have ever gotten in a sandwich.

Not reviewing to directly complain about the food (though the lack of meat and prices leave something to be desired but that's Jersey Mike's across the board). However the issue is when I walked in the employees were blasting deafeningly loud club music which they didn't even bother to lower as I was ordering my sub or standing there yelling my order to two of the employees who could barely hear me when I was trying to state what I wanted. The rest of the employees were dancing in the doorway and yelling to one another. It was incredibly unprofessional and I definitely won't be back. There are much better places to spend my money locally like Scala's or Driftwood right next door, which I'll be doing from now on. read more

Was en route to the happiest place on earth aka the jersey shore and on our way we knew the fam needed some cold cut subs. I'll be honest I hadn't been to Jersey Mikes in quite some time but we were in a hurry to catch some rays and nothing beats a quality cold cut sub when your ten toes up on the jersey sand. I had called ahead so we could pick up our order and get in and out. I had told them we were late as it was (story of our lives) so if they could make sure the order was ready to go we would greatly appreciate it! Unfortunately when I called I was literally 2 minutes away. As I walked in it was clearly prime time there, place was packed! These workers were haulin subs like a factory, it was quite impressive to watch. I thought there is no way our order will be ready.. until about 30 seconds in some strapping young fella named Ken (seemed like a manager) asked if I needed anything. I told him I was there for pick up and placed an order for a few giant subs less than 5 minutes ago. He said no problem, come to the register you are set to go buddy. They had me in and out, fully stocked, locked and loaded to go in a matter of a moment. The young man even threw in a couple complimentary cookies because he thought I was waiting too long (which was not the case). Anyways the service here was spot on, with so many people coming in and out they nailed the customer service for me and my family. One last observation I found was even in the midst of a crazy rush, all the workers greet you as you walk in and give you a smile with a hello, made me felt like I mattered!
