I ordered a hot sandwich and was standing in line waiting to pay. While I was still waiting, a couple walked in and ordered a full five minutes after me. After standing there way too long, I watched them get their hot sandwich before mine. I asked why people who ordered after me were being served first. The employee told me it was because she ordered a gluten‑free sandwich. That explanation was ridiculous. Then they doubled down and said they "had to" make her sandwich before mine because of the bread. I told them they look like they know what they're doing, but this proved they absolutely don't. Fresh and delicious sub! I've been to a handful of different locations and I've always had a positive experience with the food and this spot is added to that list. I got the Club Sub and it was great! If I was knit picking I could say the bread could have been MAYBE slightly softer but I still loved the texture and softness level. She yelled at a guy who had just walked in to shut the door, and when I asked about my order she snapped at me saying my food wasn't ready and to go sit down and wait. This store does everything right, consistently. I go here weekly... if not more. They are always insanely clean, courteous, perfect sandwiches every time. I love Jersey Mikes subs and go there often. But 1 thing I wish they didnt do is make multiple orders at once. I understand its faster for the workers line up but actually takes longer for the customer. My sandwiches were almost ready and I had my son with me also. Then employee gets started on the next sandwich order while we are waiting. Then employee messes that sandwich up and has to start over. Its too confusing for the employees. Can they just finish one order before starting the next? Regardless of how busy it is. That would be better customer service in my opinon. read more

I grew up in New Jersey and the street food was excellent. I figured Jersey Mike's would be a taste of home, and part of the sandwich was acceptable. But the bread! AWFUL! It was a white bread roll, seemingly made of wonder bread. Soft, no crust, tasteless. I would have enjoyed the sandwich but for the bread. I've been eating here almost every week, for the past 6 months or so. I always get a cheesesteak, chips and a drink. I love the manager here. Friendly, efficient and she remembers her regulars and offers everyone a smile and a welcome. Her staff is also top notch and personable. Yes, some have tattoos, nose rings, maybe colored hair...all indicative of our Portland weird vibe. They process a lot of Togo orders, so sometimes there may be a wait. This location has to be the best Jersey Mike's I've ever gone to. The whole team greets you with the best energy. You can tell the team is strongly connected while still being extremely engaging with their customers. This is going to be my new Hometown sandwich shop and I will be telling all of my fellow sandwich lovers to go to this location. I think there was a manager working on duty that was tall with brown hair and she was working so hard with the best attitude and energy. If I could give zero stars, I would. before a recent event, this location would get my order wrong very frequently. Wrong bread, forgetting to withhold ingredients I requested, wrong ingredients for the sandwich purchased etc. however recently, my husband and I got violently ill to the point where I needed to be hospitalized. How do I know we got violently ill from this place? It was the only place we both ate at over the weekend. All other meals we ate at separate places or different times and different meals. this was the only thing we both ate. I will never order from this place again, you shouldn't either if you don't wanna risk your house. After going to the hospital, I was told that what likely happened based off my test results is that somebody went to the bathroom, did not wash their hands, and then handled food after. The only other option is that somebody at this location was very sick and came to work anyways. read more
