The other dishes are very good as well. My wife likes the Japanese pan noodles and the pad thai, though I admittedly never buy anything else but the mac and cheese for myself. Buttered noodles would probably be a hit for that finicky toddler/child in your family. In my experience, the two locations in town are pretty much the same and you can't go wrong with either one of them!

Secondly, given that it is new, it is still suffering some growing pains. This is evidenced by how they assemble what you order. Portions here are kind of off, ok, actually, they are way off, which is not a great thing when you're charging Chipotle-like prices. I wanted to try the Habanero-Lime steak, which was surprisingly nicer than expected. Had I been thinking, I would have toted along my camera and filmed a video review of it for the YT channel, but instead, I just enjoyed the flavor of that with the Diablo queso...lamenting all the while that I should have paid closer attention to the portions they were dishing out and helped them make this more acceptable. Hopefully, they'll get into their groove as Qdoba can be a quite enjoyable selection when they're on. They definitely weren't at this visit, which was a bit disappointing...if you go, keep an eye on how they're adding stuff, particularly if you opt for the bowls.
