I'm writing to report a recurring issue with delivery orders from your Rehoboth, Delaware location. While we love Jersey Mike's for its fresh ingredients and great subs, this location consistently struggles with fulfilling delivery orders accurately. Five of my last six orders have included missing or incorrect items. Subs have been prepared incorrectly--including ingredients that were specifically excluded due to dietary restrictions. For example, a family member with a cheese intolerance has had to inspect and remove cheese from their sandwich multiple times. Chips and cookies are frequently missing, despite being listed (and charged) on the receipt. When they are included, they're often incorrect in quantity or type--for instance, receiving one package of small cookies instead of three packages of large ones. These repeated mistakes suggest a breakdown in the order preparation process. Additionally, the store is unreachable by phone. Calls either go unanswered or are met with a full voicemail box, making resolution impossible without going through third-party services like DoorDash. While DoorDash is responsive with refunds, that doesn't resolve the core issue. Tonight, I declined a refund and asked for a redelivery, simply because I wanted the correct items. We enjoy Jersey Mike's, but until I know steps have been taken to fix these systemic issues, we'll have to order from elsewhere. read more

High quality meats and cheese sliced in front of you, store baked bread, and the authentic taste - served Mike's Way, fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar and spices! This was my first time visiting a Jersey Mike's Subs. I stopped at this location on my way home for lunch. Three people were ahead of me on the line waiting to be served. I had to wait about 5 minutes to be served. I ordered the #13 The Original Italian with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni on rosemary parm sub bread. I enjoyed my sub at home. I would return to this location or another Jersey Mike's Sub location for another sub. read more

The subs were okay, we've had better at other locations. But we won't be going back because of the poor service. The two guys behind the counter looked like they were miserable working there and in particular with each other. One of the guys obviously was rushing us out as it was a half hour to closing time. Absolutely the most lathetic treatment from Grumpy 1 and 2 along with Sassy 1. These employees should be immediately fired. They do not want to be there, they hate there job, I was actually yelled at bby Grumpy 1 because I changes my mind from Ham and Turkey to Steak when I saw Grumpy 2 chopping steak. Most of the staff were extremely rude here. I bit my tongue multiple times trying not to tell one of the staff members not to treat customers the way he was treating them. He was writing down orders and got BOTH of mine and my friends sandwiches wrong. My friend asked for a side cup of peppers a minute after she ordered and he barked at her that "now he has to write it on the ticket and it's going to mess the cook up." He waited and looked at her with a dirty look like he was waiting for her to change her mind, but all it was putting peppers in a little to go container. He also of course gave her the wrong peppers she asked for. I asked for no peppers on my sandwich and on the ticket he wrote "no onions." He also was extremely rude and condescending to elderly customers as well. I didn't catch his name, but it was at 12pm today. Jersey Mike's Sub Shop, rehoboth store 18598-1. Simple order I always get. Mini 14 (veg), Mike's way, extra cheese, little extra mayo, no green peppers. I watch them build it and only put basic cheese and put extra green peppers, no mayo, and started to wrap it. I tell them to stop, no green peppers. Someone reaches over and pulls them off the sandwidtch with thier hands and says what else do you need? I proceeded to describe my original order (mini 14, ex cheese, ex may, mikes way, no green peppers.) Store manager says you do need to yell, he's only been here two days. I didn't yell nor being rude, I just said I'm allergic to green peppers. The store manager said walking away just give it to him and get him out of here. Wish I got her name. Forgot to mention I still payed even though she said "give away and get him out of here". read more

Not a good experience, sanitation wise. The employees don't care about having customers social distance, and rush you through the line so they can take more orders, but it causes people to be on top of one another even though they only have a handful of employees so there's a pile up anyway. More disturbingly, there was one guy adding condiments on the sandwiches, wrapping them, and cashing people out at the register. Used the same gloves for everything. Not to mention he got mayonnaise everywhere (on top of my sandwich when he was wrapping it, on the wrapper itself, and all over the screen of the register). Especially disgusting when you consider there's a pandemic. There's not even a baseline of sanitation in this place. the employees seem like decent people but they need to be properly trained on food safety or someone will get sick (food Borne illness or otherwise). Could be cleaner. Especially the floors. Subs still very good. The only deli meat they make on premises is the roast beef. I recommend you ask to see it before you order it. Sometimes they use the very end of the meat slab and it can be pretty dried out. But if they use the beginning or middle it is juicy and delicious ! I keep coming back from time to time and I will continue to do so! read more

Awful experience! It had been a while since we had been there and we certainly won't be back. The restaurant was filthy! There were huge piles of garbage on the floor behind the counter. Disgusting! The tables were also dirty. The AC was not working and the temperature was 80 degrees. I'm not sure that the mayonnaise should have been sitting out. Being a local of over 40 years I've dealt with them at various times of the year, both with tourons (tourist morons) in the area & just us locals. They do the best they can, potions were cut down by the head company so the local staff really cant control that. When there are only 2 staff members in the store & a line out the door (more than 10 people as this is a small store) other things suffer, us locals pretty much know to police our own tables & clean up after ourselves. Subs will be hastily made, as they do not want folks just standing around if possible, get in get out. My family & I have done their cheesesteaks, tuna salad subs, turkey n cheese, the italian, the roast beef plus the various ones as subs in a tub. The staff has always been great even when stressed. This isnt subway, this isnt mcdonalds or burger king, yeah, its a chain so if you dont want chain type stuff we do have smaller sub shops locally, go to them. If you want vegan, cant help you but I'd say stay away from a SUB shop. And I'm from CT, family is from Long Island/NYC area, we know whats a hoagie, a sub & a grinder. But we also realize that this is in SUSSEX County DELAWARE, we are not NJ nor do we want to be. read more

I called numerous times to place an order. No one picked up. When I got there I asked why no one answers the phone and the one worker said it hasn't worked in a few days. This was the same guy I saw smoking behind the store 2 minutes earlier. He sliced the bread and never asked if I wanted mayonnaise, mustard, etc. He passed the sandwich on to the "toppings guy." When he picked up the sandwich to wrap it all the toppings fell out. Never asked if I wanted oil and vinegar or anything else. The place was dirty so I'd never want to eat there. I truly love a good Jersey Mike's sandwich! I walked into the establishment today at lunchtime, and there were approximately eight or nine people waiting in front of me. Three young men who worked there were hustling, making sandwiches, waiting on customers and apologizing to patrons for the delay in orders. A woman who works there, I was told was the general manager, was milling around doing "busy work", if you can even call it that, while these three guys busted their asses! When I left, the line was still substantial, and this individual was standing out back, scrolling on her phone, smoking a cigarette. Pretty pathetic. I don't know who the proprietor is of this specific Jersey Mike's, but you would do yourself better to fire this lazy waste of space and higher one of these young men as the general manager. Sub sandwiches as I remember growing up in northern NJ. Have had their subs in several locations (airports, etc.). Always good.

We absolutely love Jersey Mike's subs but we won't be back until this pandemic is over. We watched the employee (dark blonde haired young lady with glasses and a grey shirt) take cash, build a sub, wash a table, and take cash from another customer. As she was about to grab another sub to wrap it all still using the same pair of gloves, I stopped her and explained to her what I witnessed. Who knows how long she wore them before we came in!!! We were not provided a receipt or I would have contacted the manager. I just felt like I needed to add this as a public service announcement. Friends, if you see this type of behavior please speak up. I think we're all ready for this virus to end! read more
