Fully staffed and stocked, great customer service, clean, efficient, and the Cheese steak sub we had was great. First time at Jersey Mike's anywhere and we were pleasantly surprised. First and foremost, these subs are pricey. Giant subs start at around $15. And labeling them "giant" to begin with is somewhat debatable. I sometimes forget that when I eat a hoagie, I'm consuming an entire loaf of bread ... on top of high cholesterol, high sodium fatty meats. BUT they do come with lettuce and tomato, so that evens out, right? RIGHT?! So yeah, you're definitely getting a giant baguette of Italian bread with each sandwich. I mean, that IS the sandwich, basically. The amount of meat on the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak was shockingly low. Also, why is it called "Big Kahuna?" That implies something Hawaiin, right? I was browsing the menu and saw that and expected some weird kinky stuff like pineapple or something. But no, it's just a cheese steak with mushrooms and peppers. Not long ago, I watched some YouTube videos on how to make the perfect Italian sub. There were some people who would scoop out some of the bread to make room for more ingredients (i.e. meats and cheeses). They just took a spoon and kind of hallowed out the baguette. Well, it looks like Mike's does something similar. The Club Supreme definitely had some bread scooped out. And I actually like this. I don't eat subs just to take giant mouthfuls full of bread. Oddly, though, they didn't do this for the Italian. There is some evidence they scooped out a little on the cheese steak, but it was hardly noticeable. Jersey Mike's is a solid 3 in my book. The cheese steak was an absolute joke, but the Italian held its own. Actually, you know what, there is one last star to be removed, and that's for the horribly implemented and convoluted rewards program. It's an absolute joke. The website is a mess and if you try to use the terminal in person for any pick-up orders, expect tons of glitches errors. Don't bother ordering ahead, you will waste more time. I placed an order at 12:48 I know it's lunch time so I waited 20 minutes before heading over. I have been waiting in the restaurant over twenty minutes watching people come in and get in line and walk out. This is insane. Customer service was very good though. Still, next time I'm going to v&s. I'm literally sitting in the restaurant, reading reviews and writing my own. I'm about to ask for my money back and leave. I originally intended going to the Chipotle next door.. but line was terribly long and employees seemed miserable. First time going to this Jersey Mike's and I was pleasantly surprised! Fresh ingredients, meats and cheeses being cut in front of you, etc. Employees all happy, nice, and helpful. Atmosphere was great in comparison to where I was just at. I work all over the state and I hit Jersey Mike's at all hours of the day and all locations. This one I will never ever be returning to. Usually my order is always ready or if I just go in the order I'm out in under 5 to 10 minutes. I ordered this one at 12:06 PM and I was still standing there at 1:15 PM for a mini sub. I was already irritated with the time and ready to leave except for that I already paid online this time. The guy did manage to ask everyone around me what their name was and what they were waiting for except for me. I've worked in the restaurant business for most of my life and I'll never understand why the people walking in the door are walking out before me if I ordered online an hour ago. I ordered a turkey sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, and mustard. When I unwrapped it, there was mustard smeared on the paper, no oregano, and LOTS of mayo. When my husband informed him, the staff person told him I said mayo. I HATE mayo, so no I didn't. I wasn't about to get into line and reorder, so I wiped off as much mayo as I could. UGH! The music was so loud, that he couldn't hear what I said. In addition, the tables were dirty. My first time at Jersey Mikes will definitely be my last. Really? I called to ask if they delivered... they deliver through third party, no problem. They don't accept any comments about how you would want something. I said to the guy I wanted to order hoagies and I wanted the bacon really crispy.... And he said well we make the bacon in the morning and you get what you get! I was like really? Their customer service at this location is terrible. They didn't greet anyone who came in; even when I said hi they stayed quiet, but they believe in having side conversations with one another instead of helping customers. It's like they're inconvenienced to have to speak to customers. Both ladies making our food just starred at us as if we were mind readers knowing what they were asking. I understand nonverbal communication, but maybe that's not the best in a customer service setting. The only reason they got two stars was because our sandwiches were good. That's always a plus. I just love these Italian sandwiches! It's really the oil and vinegar mixture that tastes so great. And they are fresh too. They might be more expensive than other shops but it's worth it to me. Not only was my item wrong but it was also missing items. I ordered the '#8 Club Salad Cold Sub' and received the turkey and ham (bacon was missing) rolled up with mayo slapped on top in a container? The receipt clearly said how I ordered a sub and also listed the type of roll I ordered. Never thought I would order a sub from a SUB restaurant and they forget the sub part. I was born and raised 10 minutes from the Original shop in Point Pleasant and have been a Jersey Mikes lover for 30+ years and I always order the Ham and Cheese... went in and got one and I watched them make it and couldnt believe they put on three pieces of ham on a large. Normally that thing is packed - in fact that is the reason I prefer them. Had one in Flemington NJ last week and it was a monster of a sub. This is honestly our go to hoagie place. Yes, they are pricey compared to other places but man the subs are good. My wife and I get them regularly. There's something about "Mike's Way" that makes these hoagies great! Their bread is much better then some of the other places as well. We regularly place our order on their app to receive reward points and have gotten a free regular sub already! They sometimes make little mistakes here and there but who doesn't? Came here for the first time after this shop opened over the closed Subway. Unfortunately the server added jalopenos when I thought I was getting sweet peppers and added way too much hot sauce. I was unable to eat my sub because how spicy it was and had to throw away my $14 sub purchase. I know you could say that maybe I shouldn't have added those things, but there should be some proportioning standard so one can eat the sub. read more

Came here for a late night snack around 8pm and after they started the sandwich process they informed me that they have no lettuce to put on the sandwiches. I'm originally from jersey and I don't really remember any hero shop that ran out of lettuce. There is a weis supermarket across the street from the store that probably has heads of lettuce but maybe the lettuce is imported from New Jersey lol. read more

Cold sandwich was wet, on the wrong bread, and initially it looked like it was all ham even though the description stated other meat was supposed to be on it. I did not order a ham sandwich. After opening the sandwich and moving stuff around there was a very small amount of the other meat in it. My guess is to save money. The warm sandwich was on the wrong bread. It was warm and it was okay but lacked flavor. Second time here. Meh. If you do a pickup order and put under instructions, as it suggests, to include napkins . . . Don't bother. The customer service at this location is FABULOUS. I work across the street at Petco, and come in frequently on my lunch breaks. The service is always quick, and the staff is super friendly. usually i sacrifice my wallet for jersey mikes because they know how to make a sub. today was different tho, the employees were very nice but the sandwich had half the amount of meat on it than it usually does. i can justify spending $11 on half a sub and a drink if it's worth it, but today i paid for a lot of bread. i'm assuming this is a decision passed down from execs to cut costs. but they'll end up paying the price by losing customers. i won't be coming back unless i win the lottery and can afford to waste money. read more
