What a delightful bread shop. My best friend and I stopped in here for one of the regional seasonal…read morespecialties it was a dark bread. Very hearty and aromatic. It may have been called Icelandic rye bread. Or Icelandic dark bread. I'm not sure but it should be easy to figure out. I love walking into bread shops because the aroma of sweet and yeast assaults your senses in the most delightful way. Breadsmith has a lovely little tasting area in the front. And offers about two or three different kinds of breads. There is a Specialties table. When I was visiting they had a grouping of different types of cookies. They also have a offering of jams jellies and mustard. Everything you need to elevate your bread. The back wall is filled with loaves of every shape and size. Muffins, cookies, and all sorts of handheld goodies. I tried the Bostock. It is a elevated crunchy French toast. It's a piece of brioche bread that is dredged and coded in an amazing almond slivered topping. I believe it may have been adhere to the bread with marzipan. At least that's the traditional recipe. The Almond topping with light and Chris and had a very distinct lemon accent. It was Pure Heaven. Rich buttery crispy sweet.

They were sampling breads and their breads are behind a so called fence. I tried beer cheese bread. This might have been better hot or toasted. I also tried King Cake or bread. Their version was a cinnomin type of bread. I bought a loaf and the girl gave me the tiny plastic baby separately. The place is similar to Great Harvest. We were in the area shopping at thrift stores and killed time by stopping in. Review 19 in 2023.

Was really excited for this place when I saw the menu online. Way more unique options than your…read morestandard franchise deli, you know? And maybe I just picked the wrong sandwich, cuz the flavors truly didn't do it for me. But also the white bread they put the fixings into really detracted from the overall flavor. Blehhh. Still though, high rating from me because the establishment was really swanky on the inside, lots of clean spacious seating. A patio as well to eat outside. Soda fountain had some flavor shot options. The employees were all friendly and attentive. Clean restrooms (though they were individual stalls and gender segregated for no reason...). Also the pricing was a little steep but not horrid by today's exorbitant standards. Paid $11 for a 6"er.

The potatoes were COLD, DRY, and had a weird seasoning, which they shouldn't have been cold or dry because I requested them as a side. The gluten free bread WAS good, and I will say it would have been a decent deli sandwich, maybe like an Italian sub or BLT, but that bread as a breakfast sandwich...holy bread! I should have bought a baguette at Walmart and saved my $10+ on a piece of bread with a limp piece of bacon, enough egg to feed a family of 10, and a piece of cheddar cheese that wasn't even melted. This place was SO disappointing and I left starving - didn't event finish my food and should have asked for a refund. Sandwich and potatoes were absolutely disgusting - dry, cold, flavorless. I know this isn't the east coast where deli sandwiches are superiors, but cmon. there's better quality found at McDonald's. I'm not a particular person and I cannot just emphasize enough how gross and disappointing this was. Service was fine, they were nice and as expected. Ambiance was like that of a subway, not a mom and pop type of restaurant.
