They just opened and the place was packed. The service was excellent, very friendly. The first bite of this Philly is so good!

Customer service is always wonderful & the timing is never too long. The chicken chipotle sub is my favorite.

Several years ago, I had my first muffuletta at a sandwich shop in Florida and I thought it was OK, but nothing special. I did not order one from Weinbergers the first several visits because of this and all the other choices we had. My wife and I finally decided to order one to split. The first bite that we took we just looked at each other wide eyed in amazement and said OMG. The reason I decided to write this review is because my wife just texted me and said she is craving a muffuletta. We will probably head there this weekend. We love this place!

Make sure you're prepared when you walk up to the counter-- I thought I was until the dude started rattling off "wet" or "dry" and the list of toppings. I threw up my hands and said "I'm an amateur, this is my first time here!" He slowed it down and walked me through ordering, lol. I went with the Italian beef, dry with the juice on the side. So yummy! I love that it came with a handful of crinkle chips as well. If I was local I'd eat here all the time! The inside is small with a handful of tables and a few extra outside. It was pretty packed on a Friday afternoon!

Just do it!…read moreIt's your choice of bread (they recommended the croissant but obvi I get gluten free) with ham or turkey, apple slices, caramel, mozzarella cheese, and mayo. Yep. I wasn't entirely sold when first reading the description, but I'm already a big fan of apples and caramel with a side of cheese.. why wouldn't I love a sandwich version? And I do. The Caramel Gang is a perfect mix of savory and sweet flavors with all the best textures going on: soft mozzarella, gooey caramel, and crunchy, crisp, tart green apples.. it's so fun and interesting and entirely delicious. I like to pair it with the tomato bisque, which is served on Tuesdays and Thursdays (potato soup on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, broccoli cheese on Wednesdays). Don't sleep on this sandwich shop. They have a simple but memorable menu of fantastic paninis, sandwiches, salads, soup of the day, and scratch-made desserts like coconut cream pie, banana pudding, and chocolate chip cookies. Mmm so good!

I was always greeted immediately upon walking in and the staff was very nice and helped me with placing takeout orders. Service was always fast, and the food was so good. Over the days, I ordered a Ham&Cheese, Reuben, Club, and Patty Melt. The Reuben was my absolute favorite. I liked that the corned beef and pastrami was not too salty. The rye? bread that was used was sooo soft and fluffy which is what made this place memorable to me. Side pickle was also crunchy and tasty and I liked the potato salad! Thank you for making my court days a little bit better. I'm glad there are other locations so I don't need to return downtown to get a great sandwich again!

Heading towards Dallas, I asked Mrs. K. if she wanted proper smoked salmon for breakfast and she was all in. As we're in the area for the Sixth Floor museum, this was an easy stop once we found and paid for parking. A small storefront with a large dining room that is decorated with some New York themed photos, we seated ourselves and a waitress brought over menus followed by coffee. We placed our orders and about ten minutes later, breakfast arrived. Mrs. K.'s platter included a good portion of thin sliced salmon along with ALL of the fixings including capers, cucumber, tomato, red onion and cream cheese. The toasted everything bagel was very good but not quite "New York style" perfection. Hey, it's Texas. You get to slide. My nova, eggs and onion plate was excellent with a huge portion of home fries. Cooked properly and with plenty of salmon mixed in, I enjoyed it very much. The biscuits were excellent, the gravy was a little thin on sausage but still tasty. Five stars because it's great service and great food. This is as close to New York style as you'll get when you're 1400 miles from Brooklyn. [Review 394 of 2026 - 709 in Texas - 25578 overall]

This place is the real deal, every time i am in the area I try to stop by and get me some…read moresandwiches. This is a small chain of restaurants and they have a location here in arlington, one in north richland hills and another one in garland. They use fresh bread when making their sandwiches and you can tell the difference it makes. Fresh bread has a nice crunch to it and I can tell the difference when its a day old bread. I once went to a restaurant in the area and purchase a banh mi and the bread was chewy, in a bad way. Don't get me wrong, it was good and edible but it does not compare to the crunchy crispy bread that saigon deli uses. Plus that sandwich as this restaurant was like $7 compared to the ones from saigon that is only $5. If you purchase 3 sandwiches you technically get the 4th one for free. I get this offer and eat one there, give the other one to my brother, save one for lunch for work the next day and save one for dinner that next day as well. The drinks I had from there are very tasty but i only had about 3 of them, still recommended getting some of those. They also have can soda and bottle water. Also don't sleep on the eggrolls they sell, if they have any left over. My only complaint that I have is that if you get here an hour or two before closing they will most likely be limited on the kinds of sandwiches they have. I been there an hour before closing they are out of everything except the combination. Which is fine but my favorite is the pork and the pork floss. Also those jalapenos that they put in there are spicier than you think so beware. The lady at the cash register is always nice and never had an issue with their service. Overall a solid place to get banh mi if you are in the area.

But they only had it during the week, and with us working during the week and staying almost 30min. Away it wasn't doable. We ordered a lot of food as usual because we like to try everything overall between both places we paid about 95-ish dollars. The food and wait was worth it per usual, but the ATTITUDES at both places weren't, I let my bf order once I peeped, to avoid getting pissed off further. they can also practice safe food handling at the burger place.. I witnessed her wearing her gloves to write on the box, handle the food, touch cups to make drinks, walk to the other restaurant with the same gloves on and walk back, now while she didn't touch anything on the other side it's the principal.. At J's international when the food was ready, our name was called, and she let us look at the food to make sure it was right. The reason for the rating is because of the attitudes I didn't drive almost 30min. To feel like you don't want to work and be bothered today. Buttttt hey the music was a plus I was jammin for the most part!
