Fantastic sandwich! Always so good here :)
    Sophia Y.

Updated review 5/26/2023 2 stars for the inability to write the correct names on the correct sandwiches. Placed a pick-up order for my work. I wrote every name correctly for each sandwich in the app. I even called to ask them to please write the names. None of that matters clearly, because names were written incorrectly for the sandwiches. We assume these names are properly written, to decrease opening UP EACH SANDWICH to see whose is whose. This is frustrating as a LOT of places give you a slot to even PUT a name, and yet, they're never really transcribed properly. So what's the point. Just remove that feature to not disappoint people.

Sandwich number 17 is the best/The Italian ham sandwich is also good/Thank you for making the other products delicious and hygienically.

We came here a few weeks to get our favorite sandwich, the philly cheesesteak. We always add lettuce and tomatoes on the side to make it a better sandwich. Customer service here is pretty good.

My boyfriend works near this location, gets lunch here often and really enjoys it. We got a quick lunch here and it was pretty good. Service was quick and easy as we just ordered online and picked it up. I got a simple turkey sandwich with added banana peppers. I always love the bread at Jersey Mikes and when they add the vinaigrette to your sandwich. All the ingredients were super fresh and I enjoyed my sandwich.

The freshness and quality of Jersey Mike's is unlike other sandwhich places. However for this mini sandwhich it was over $8. Add a combo drink and chips for extra. You can choose from other 20 types of sandwhiches that range from Italian to beef and three types of bread. Mikes way includes lettuce tomatoes onions and red wine vinegar and olive oil.

##7 Turkey and Provolone (unknown black particles on provolone cheese )

I want to share that I did not have a good experience at Jersey Mike's on Malvern in Fullerton. I ordered a #7 Wheat wrapped. This is a cold sub, however upon eating, I noticed black particles on my provolone cheese. There was nothing in my order that had this color and my wrap was not grilled. I asked the staff what this could have been and they told me it could have been the burned residue from previous orders. GROSS. But beyond gross, eating burned food of any kind is harmful to health and even cancerous. This kind of negligence is beyond unreasonable. The part that upsets me is that I ate those black particles until I noticed it was there. I truly regret my visit to this Jersey Mike's.

First time here and I have to admit it was bomb. The worker helped me with some suggestions since I've never been. Ended up ordering a chipotle chicken on cheese bread I think that's what he said. It was so good. Hot off the grill and super flavorful. Really wasn't expecting it. Cool little shop, in the middle of the shopping center. Thank goodness subway was closed. That was totally worth it

The vibes are artsy, chill, and very laid back, and while we have our regular spots there are no bad seats. Staff are always friendly here, and even though it's seat yourself and menus are on the table for you to take your time with, they're always checking in and willing to answer questions. Elizabeth has been our server on multiple occasions and is always attentive and quick to help or communicate, and always says hi even if she isn't the one working with us directly. Dinner rush is usually a bit earlier in the evening as they do see a lot of older clientele, but it typically varies based on weekday vs weekend and if there's a local event happening in downtown Fullerton. The patio is large with plentiful seating, a warm fireplace, dogs are allowed, and if there's live music happening at the museum down the street you can usually hear it. Our favorites are the nachos, killer chili, Leeky soup, and any of their salads. Price is a good value, especially considering the portion size, we can usually get at least two meals out of an entree. We love trying the new dollar dip flavor every month. Cookies are made in-house and very good, an easy and affordable treat to grab on the way out. We've brought vegan and vegetarian friends here and they can always find something to eat. Highly recommend as a place to come to when you want to sit and hang out for a bit to relax and have a good meal, whether alone or with a group.

If you step through the doorway and your first thought is, gosh, there must be a college campus…read morearound here, you'd be right. Rutabegorz (pronounced like the vegetable: "ROO-tah-BAY-gorz") is a short protest march away from Cal-State Fullerton as well as Fullerton Community College here in Southern California, and is across the street from an Anglican church that looks like an old Sixties, social justice kind of house of worship. The place is actually kind of hard to find, since from the outside it looks like any other ivy-covered brick building that houses the bookstores and headshops that cling, lamprey-like, to institutions of higher learning. Inside, the décor is a funky hodge-podge, not in the calculated way that a place like TGI-Friday's is crafted, but the way you'd imagine post-hippie entrepreneurs would decorate their restaurant labor-of-love. That introduction should prepare you for the food, which is as anti-corporate as you'd imagine from the place's looks. The vegetarian dishes are numerous and hearty the way you'd expect vegetarian dishes wouldn't be, somehow filling and richly satisfying. The ratatouille is savory, the vegetarian burrito bean-y and substantial, the falafel wrap is a little dry but will sit in the pit of your stomach in a satisfying way. The hummus is a lumpy, almost cottage cheese-like interpretation of the dish which could use a little more flavor but isn't bad. The food tastes homemade, the vegetables as though they were actually, at one point in their existences, raw. The meals are as nourishing physically as a Marilynne Robinson novel is spiritually. For those who are worried, the restaurant isn't exclusively vegetarian, and although I haven't had a bunch of the meat dishes, what I have had has continued on the theme of minimally processed foods. The-Walnut-That-Kissed-The-Chicken is a nice take on the chicken salad sandwich, spread thick between two slabs of squaw bread that make it as much a mouthful to eat as it is to say, and the chicken tastes like it was actually boiled and then chopped by hand. We still live in a society driven by consumption, not even the peacenik greenie-types are unaffected, and you can tell by the size of the portions - you invariably have to take some home. Salads come in gigantic blue plastic basins that look as though the cook in the back thought about looking for a proper serving bowl and then just decided, aw to heck with it, I'll just serve the entire thing in the tub I tossed it in. Be sure to get a dessert anyway - the cheesecake is the sweet, tart, dense kind of thing that makes gaining talk-show kind of weight easy. The place also has a decent list of beers. I haven't tried the wines or the cocktails. I've been coming here on and off for a little over a quarter of a century now, I've seen all sorts of people sitting at the rickety wooden tables, from the Birkenstock crowd to sorority girls to Korean club-kids - wholesome food in giant portions appeals across sociopolitical lines.

The brownie was tiny but awesome, rich in flavor - no issue. The sandwich was a let down, considering what I paid. While everything tasted fresh, it was nothing special and I realize I paid $16 for a small sandwich that I could have made at home. I get it, I am paying for just that - a sandwich someone else made me on demand with their products. It's just a bummer how much it cost and all I got was a small ass sandwich and a bite sized brownie. Even the paper bag they gave me was mini on the scale. On the upside, very friendly service. They also have happy hour Tuesdays-Thursday from 2:00-5:30pm, where they offer house wines for $5 and personal cheese board for $10. For boards, I usually get the Goldilocks specialty board, which comes with 3 cheeses ranging in texture from soft to hard. For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. My first visit was a few months ago, and I felt like I was bothering our server for water refills, napkins and other things. It was a Saturday night and while it was not packed, it took about an hour to get 2 panini's. Went today for my birthday, and my adult son told the server that the three of us were sitting on patio. Server shows up with 2 menus and 2 glasses for water. Sees me and scolds my son for not telling her that there was a third person. She brings a 3rd glass but never a 3rd menu. I specifically mention that we are here for happy hour specials. There is only 1 other table occupied, otherwise it's empty. We wait over 20 minutes to place our order. 1 personal board supposed to be $10. Plus (2) panini's. Wait another 30+ minutes... get our food and that's it. No check in - no water refills. My son goes and gets the server for a box and to order another personal board. We wait another long period to get it. I go inside to taste some cheese. We add on something to our bill. It was $104... I do some quick math and assume the price is because of the cheese I added to the bill. I add a tip on the lowish side, because we didn't really get any "service" to be worth the $18 I added onto it. I get home to review the receipt... and was charged $20 for the personal boards + the add ons... I am so let down. I spent $130 and didn't get awesome service or the happy hour discount. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 ish, and this caught me off guard. I have learned my lesson and won't be going back. I added the pictures so yelp-er's can see portion sizes, of the personalized cheese board.
