The staff working the order counter were so sweet and personable. Our first day we stopped in for the daily lunch special which was very tasty and a great price. They offer different soups daily. The place is large with off street parking and they have very cool local artwork displayed throughout.

My sister then said she would just order two beers and was told she could only have one. The girl was rude and this was absolutely ridiculous. My sister pointed out they probably serve her minor kids with fake IDs but not two grown women. Perhaps they don't want older generations in their establishment. We will never go there again.

Had the skillet breakfast and it was generous! The OJ was fresh, in fact you can see the OJ machine from the dining room! Loved the ability to have fresh fruit instead of the usual sides. And the fruit was absolutely fresh! The pancakes were so light and fluffy it was hard to stop eating after I was full. We loved this restaurant so much that we made it a point to stop in for breakfast again on our way back to FL after vacationing in ND. Obviously loved by the locals as there were several tables of ladies and gents enjoying the food and each other's company. :-)

We ordered the half-order of biscuits & gravy with hash browns, and half-order of eggs Benedict with hash browns, but I can assure you the half-order was still a plentiful and filling amount. I loved my biscuits & gravy with hash browns; the B&G were flavorful and well-seasoned. My mom loved her hash browns, but was disappointed with the eggs Benedict, as we are used to fresh eggs from our neighbor and she said the eggs had a sour smell to them and tasted off. I would definitely go back for the service, food, reasonable prices, and to support a veteran-owned business.

Egg cooked thin, stuffed with ham and mushrooms, and topped with a good slice of cheese. Wisconsin definitely does their dairy right. The cheese and butter on the toast were fantastic. I give an extra star for the service. They are kind and very quick. Also very vocal about their love for police and military service members.
