The atmosphere is one of the restaurant's biggest strengths. The historic building and the old photographs covering the walls make for a fun dining experience and really add to the character of the place. Service was just okay. Nothing was wrong, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. One thing worth knowing before you go: the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge for credit card payments, so if you'd rather avoid the extra fee, bring cash. They had a lunch special: burrito bowl with drink and chips for $15. I had the pork bowl (carnitas). It was a huge amount of food, and getting the chips and drink essentially for free made it a bargain. Everything was good. The carnitas were tasty. The pico de gallo was fresh and tasty. The set up is similar to Chipotle's, but the queso is included (with the bowl, at least). The chips were excellent. They make chocolate chip cookies fresh daily, and my husband said it was delicious.
