On 12-24-25, visited 136-3 Forum Drive location. Ordered #56 Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. We normally ask for lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Asked for provolone cheese. Stopped by here today for a sub. I've never been here before. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young lady! Shortly thereafter, our order was taken and sandwiches were made to order. When I arrived, there were four people working the counter and one person on the grill. The person slicing meat and taking orders had his hat on sideways. There were three people in line with subs in various stages of completion. After about five minutes, sideways hat man asked the customer in front of me what he wanted, and the customer stated he wanted a #9 giant on white. Sideways began slicing meat and placing it on a roll. As I continued to wait my turn and examine the menu, trying to decide if I wanted to change my regular #13 giant to a #9 giant, another customer walked in and got in line behind me. Sideways looked past me like I was invisible and asked the customer standing behind me what he wanted. The new customer stated he wanted a #13 mini. Sideways then began preparing the mini Italian for the customer in line behind me. I texted my wife and told her the staff at Jersey Mike's was being rude and asked her if she would prefer something different for lunch. With so many choices - Jimmy John's and Firehouse Subs just up the street - I didn't see any reason to tolerate the disrespect the staff at Jersey Mike's was projecting towards me. My wife suggested another restaurant, so I left. I have been purchasing subs at Jersey Mike's once or twice a week, but I see no reason to go back to this restaurant in the future. As I'm observing the employees (and even the manager) there is just so much confusion and no sense of urgency. The communication skills of the employees are hard to listen to. I literally had my hand over my mouth because they were trying to figure out who had which sandwich, which I figured out before they did, and I fought the urge to interrupt and explain who had which sandwich. Besides being tasty, consistent, and very satisfying, I discovered they use local produce. I asked how their tomatoes were always so red (competitors are anemic looking). They pointed across the street to the farmers market on Clemson. Another thing I like about JM, the bread they use is so very tasty. It is hearty, not sweet, and has a tougher crust and a softer inside. Finally, they are not skimpy on the toppings; they pile them on. Went in to store ordered 2 subs and 1 salad. I can say the subs had a bit of add on items. I paid went home and was about to eat and both subs were wrong. So I went back to get remakes. Then when he realizes it was an in store order not an online order he has someone take the order and walks to the back. It's 5 o'clock how can a sub place be out of bread?! Turns out they had a few giant subs only and wouldn't let us just cut one in half and make two sandwiches. Terrible experience. All other negative reviews are accurate as to the experience I had this evening. From bad attitudes of the employees to filth of the store - the tone was set. Once receiving our hot sub and wrap, the quality rating I would give it is a 1 out of 5. The sub was gross and not prepared like I've had at any other JM store. The wrap was soggy and mush. I take my daughter lunch almost every week. She goes to school at Summit, which is across the street. Her lunch starts at 10:27, Jersey Mike's opens at 10:00. There hasn't been a time that I haven't came into this place to be told they are running behind, they have a large order so they are running behind or they didn't receive a shipment of meat. Great people, great food, but very poor management of workers. Very very frustrating as I sit here and watch the clock inch towards 10:27 with no food! read more

I have eaten at this location about 12 times over the last two months (and yes, I'm on a Jersey Mike's kick!). I have found the food to be delicious and prepared consistently well. I am a fan of the #13, which is the original Italian. It's packed with freshly sliced meat and veggies. My wife often gets the turkey wrap. We have also tried the Philly cheese steak, which is cooked to order on a grill. Very good! I am really impressed with how this place is managed. They really hustle to get the orders out, and always say thank you. One of the managers is named Shaun and he knows how to treat customers! I might also signed up for their "mikes club" card, and it gets me a free sandwich for every 5 or 6 I pay for. Not bad! Price is fair but not cheap. I usually get a combo (regular sandwich, large drink, and chip), my wife just gets the sandwich, and it totals around $18 bucks. Definitely wont keep me from returning. This place is under new ownership and has gotten way worse. The machine they use to slice the meat is very nasty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The lettuce and tomatoes that were out looked old and just the overall service was bad. The guy making the sandwich cut entirely way too much meat for my sub and I had to have him take some off. He acted like he had never made a sub before. I asked for it Mikes way and had to tell him what to put on it. I asked for the sub toasted and he barely toasted it. He put way too much oil and vinegar on the sub so by the time I got home to eat it it was soggy and just very sloppy. I love jersey mikes but this location is not it.
