This is the first time I have been to this Jersey Mike's and I ordered online. My order went through and charged my card, but when I went into the store, my app refreshed and was asking for my card information again. I told the people about it upfront and they refused to give me my order even though I showed them that it had charged my card. They kept saying that it was something wrong with my card. But obviously, if it was something wrong with my card, then my card would have never went through. I showed them my bank statements of my charged card. And they continue to say that it was something wrong with my card. So we had to re-buy our order all over again. and now I'm gonna have to call the bank to dispute the charge. I will never come back to this Jersey Mike's. Should've looked at the reviews before coming here cause they right the customer service ain't it! read more

This is a new Jersey Mike's in the Riverbend shopping area across from Walmart off Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd. They have only been open for a week. Very clean and nice bright lighting. It's located between Chicken Salad Chic and The Joint Chiropractor. Customer service was great! The young lady on the slicer was very pleasant and she must be the Manager because she was running things and multi tasking. I think they are still training the employees on the POS system and that's fine. I think after a few more weeks this place will be very efficient. There was a nice crowd in there already, but once the word gets out on this side of town that they are open, they will get super busy. Building from outside looks small but there was ample seating and a nice size kitchen where you can actually see the Cook place your food on the grill for any chicken or cheesesteaks ordered. Really rude staff. I'm not one to write bad reviews but man, these staff members are just rude and disrespectful. I work in customer service so I know it can be hard to be nice sometimes but holy cow. I just went in to pick up a to go order which I saw was done and sitting behind the counter. I just stood there I didn't say anything and after 7 minutes an employee walks over with trays in hand and throws them on the table, it makes a loud sound. She goes "what's the name" and rolls her eyes at me. I'm not trying to be disrespectful but I didn't do anything at all i just stood there and said my name when she asked. When I say I am disgusted this was the worst. I as you can see ate half of the sandwich when I looked at the end only to find tiny hairs and what appears to be a dead bug on my sandwich. I contacted the restaurant only for the manager to be so nonchalant and seemed annoyed that she either had to make me a new sandwich and when I requested to get a refund she did it but seemed as though it was a problem. I will also be contacting the health department and corporate to make sure this doesn't happen again. I frequent this establishment with my young family and I'm furious that this happened. Sandwich was good. Super Sub.. HOWEVER! ordered two subs. I was given one. My friend and I ordered subs on the same ticket. My friend ate his whole sub while I waited. And wondered why would his HOT Sun be ready before my cold sub? Well, the confused looking staff then asked me what sub I had???? Uhhh... look at the ticket! They looked baffled and began making my sub! They never even attempted before this. Then the cashier asked me what sub I had so that she could charge us again! Contactless? Hardly.....I watched the 1" long nails of the girl making my sandwiches break through the glove she was using. During the payment (thankfully after my sandwiches were done), after she took off her gloves, I watched her scratch her eye and her nose within 1 minute. No one on the sandwich line was wearing masks either and this lack of attention to the proper use of protective gear has me staying away from this place. Service here sucks. Ordered online and went to pick up the order. I was never acknowledged by any of the 4 or 5 staff members working. Another customer came in after me and was acknowledged and helped while I stood at the pick up line waiting to be helped. I will not continue to patronize a place where the service sucks and employees discriminate between which customers they want to help and which ones they choose to ignore. I have given this location second and third chances but it is flat out awful. Not once have they gotten my order correct, they are so slow and flat out rude. Tonight, one of the workers had a friend come in and they spent 5 minutes talking and then she proceeded to make him a sandwich while I stood there and waited to be helped. When you ask for a sandwich "mikes way" you shouldn't have to tell them what to add on the sandwich. I asked for no onions TWICE on a sub and they still put onions on it. Out right ignoring what the customer is asking for. I shouldn't have to wait 23 minutes for a sub to be made and handed to me. These workers either need to be trained better, taught what customer service entails or replaced. Never coming back to this location again. read more

This location will not win any efficiency awards. Lunch hour on a Saturday and there was no teamwork, everyone moved slowly, and they spent more time cleaning than preparing sandwiches. Very disappointing. Ordered online messed up order at 820! Contacted them 10 minutes before closing when we realized mistake we live 5 mins away would not help us out and was rude. Owner is very nice however when he isn't there beware they don't make effort to fix. Everyone makes mistakes we all do our best but how you help afterwords to make it right is key. I placed an order via Uber eats, only for the Uber driver to call me and say that they establishment had not received my order. But the Uber driver received a notification about it, I received a notification that my order was placed and the money was deducted from my account. So it seems as if the only issue was on the side of jersey mike. After waiting for several moments trying to contact Uber which is nearly impossible, my order is mysteriously canceled. Jersey Mikes newly opened in our area and wow - fantastic establishment. The owner is there working the sandwich line himself and all of the staff is very well trained despite them opening just three weeks ago. The inside is clean, modern and one of the cooler-newer insides I've seen of a Jersey Mike's. They're quick to get through the line without compromising quality. Props to the owner! The service isn't the best. I have only been to this and the Huntersville location and I prefer the Huntersville store even though it's smaller and in a 100 year old building. This locations food was fresh, they have a good selection of drinks and chips but they do not have the signature JM Chicken Salad. I haven't been back since my first time. read more

When my family and I arrived, there were 4 people working. Nobody acknowledged us when we walked in. The girl working the registered actually looked at us and continued ignoring us. We stood there a few minutes and finally a young man took our order and turned around and began talking to the other girls working. At this time, we were the only other customers in the store and NOBODY made eye contact with us notr were they in any hurry to prepare the 4 sandwiches that we ordered. I placed an online order through Jersey Mike's Mobile app. I stated the extact instructions on how I wanted each item made. My order was messed up. I specially ordered my food a certain way as to one I'm allergic to chocolate. I called the business back to let them know the order was incorrect. I spoke with the manager / partner named Thomas Miller. In which he was very rude and nasty about the situation. He also yelled at me and stated he was the owner and partner of this business because he put $100,000.00 into it to become partner. I advised that's very unprofessional and I would like to speak with someone over him or there contact information because this behavior is very unacceptable to yell and use irate tones of voice with a customer. This manager was extremely nasty and very unprofessional. All I tried to do is let them know they made my order wrong and could have possible harmed me with the chocolate chip cookies because I'm allergic. read more
