Grabbed a simple turkey sub and it wasn't bad, but it definitely could be better. First off I think the bread was way too big and thick which led a lot of the bites to be 75% bread and then like 25% the meet and toppings. i ordered the hot steak sub. The steak was very dry. I ate part of it. it wasn't good. This was the Norland Avenue Chambersburg one. the service was good. I got the bigger sandwich it was 18 dollars with a bag of chips! That's a lot. i will not return. i went to the Gettysburg one the steak was not as dry. The service was good here. Service was terrible! The young girl and her redhead "manager" were so rude, rolling her eyes at my husband trying to decide what he wanted. As we stopped in our travel back to NY, were hoping to take a break to eat and stretch and they had ZERO customers. The menu's got lots of options and the food tastes great too. I appreciate the fact that Jersey Mike's Subs has iodized salt I can add to my water. Oh my gosh don't believe the hype and please save your money! They have the audacity to charge an arm and a leg for their cheesesteaks and serve chewy meat! I so glad we now have a Jersey Mike's in Gettysburg now. I usually visit Chambersburg once a week for shopping needs. I have visited this location several times and disappointed each time. Either the cleaning of the operation, poor employee training or overbearing manager. The grand prize goes to the day, I ordered the double meat Italian sub. The owner/manager told the girl she was putting too much meat on the sub ..... she stated it was extra meat ..... he began to remove the extra meat.... I told him I ordered extra meat and if he removed it .... he could keep his sub. Since, Gettysburg is now open and they know how to read their orders, I am now a loyal customer. I went there for lunch at about 2PM today. All vacant tables were not cleaned let alone sanitized. While I am required to wear a mask I feel certain that your tables need to be cleaned and sanitized. Will not return. read more

It was a Friday so I decided to get to this hoagie shop. I have never been to. So I went to the store.There was a couple in front of a line to wait. While waiting.I noticed the attitude and surrounding were very unprofessional. I will not personal pertispate or support harrasment or bulling.Iam discussed and sick to my stomach. I love this place, and during the week it is quick and the people are nice and I would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for having one of the worst experiences at a restaurant ever on a Sunday in June of 2019 which kept me away for over a month, and it was only the food that brought me back! My husband or I typically go here weekly at random times ordering inside and with the app for online orders. Super convenient albeit the parking is very cramped with little parking spaces available. Food wise one of my favorites. The worst experience explained: There was a Sunday that we went into Jersey Mike's and there were 5 young adults/teenagers in the store 4 of which were congregated at the register. As soon as I walked in two were looking at my shirt (plain colored tank top) and giggled then started whispering in the ears of the others with their back to me. Then the others literally turned and looked at me and turned around and joined in the amusement. They all started to suppress their laughter and break up their group behind the register only after the 5th teenager (possible younger adult) taking our orders gave them a warning stare. At this point I couldn't even finish ordering and left to sit in the car as my husband finished ordering. There I inspected my outfit in a mirror and noticed that in the daylight my tanktop was slightly see through. Being an middle age larger person I'm no stranger of being judged and made fun of. The behaviors were akin to that which a child would experience from bullies at school. I would expect I would expect a place of business to be a safe place to go for any person shape or size. If I'm going to spend 20 bucks for a sandwich and a soda, I expect it to be right. They're more worried about the orders for Uber eats and other delivery services than they are the customers standing in line. I've had a couple of problems with the kids behind the counter. This place was absolutely horrible. The soap dispenser had been broken in the bathroom for over 2 weeks (like off the wall not being used) I will admit the subs were good, felt a little sick the next day could have been anything. Returned a few weeks later to find a fingernail clipping in my sub. This place needs a major clean up. read more

Super clean restaurant, fast and friendly service. I got a wrap, and there was so much stuffed in it, I got 2 meals out of it. Piled ridiculously high with both meat and veggies, it was fantastic. If you haven't tried this place you need to! Got a cheesesteak and a buffalo wrap and it was amazing. Better than any sub place we've been to. Not expensive like some places, small inside, and limited seating but for as good as their food is I'm perfectly happy sitting in the car or on the curb! read more

We love Jersey Mike's! We were traveling and chose this location because it was off I-81. They were very slow, served someone that was after me first. Employees were very short and kinda rude. The employee that was restocking sandwich items, was putting new on top of old, instead of changing out the containers. She was putting more Mayo in the container. Instead of using a utensil, she used her gloved hand. these same gloves had been on the outside of the container and opening food doors. I believe health department and CDC COVID restrictions would say to use a clean utensil to put the rest of the Mayo in the container. Really all employees seemed unprofessional and like there was a lack of training. Will never eat at this one again. read more

When we are in Chambersburg PA we occasionally stop at Jersey Mike's before going home. We love their subs and the people are very friendly.

Stopped in and got food to go. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Subs were great! We will definitely be back soon.
