We had Jerry's come out to test for radon. Very professional, polite, and honest. Highly recommended!

Mark Dorner cane out to inspect and was perfectly honest with me even though it meant he wouldn't make a sale.

He was really nice, communicated well and even contacted me for an earlier available time than scheduled due to an opening in his schedule. He arrived on time and was thorough with his estimate, even giving me additional information on some things I hadn't noticed or realized would become a problem in the future. He provided repair options for those items as well. He was able to get the final project scheduled reasonably quickly, and they had pretty manageable financing options that fit my budget also. Ivan and Issac were assigned to the actual repairs. They contacted me the morning of and let me know the approximate time they'd arrive, and they arrived on time. There were no deviations from what their work plan was and what I had requested. They worked quickly and finished in about two hours, completing repairs to a small section of sidewalk in front of the house and to the concrete patio at the back of the house. At the end, they provided some additional information for the 5 year warranty, and what to be mindful of during the next 24 hours. Overall very painless process with very professional individuals. 10/10 would recommend at this point.

The self described general manager at 402 251 5603 was to give me updates on the status of my money. He has not communicated for 7 days. I had also asked the manager who came to my house 10 days ago to keep me updated. Non communication from Groundworks is what caused the initial problem. Now it's continuing. Is non communication with customers a standard policy? Please let me know where my money is? It's mine. Not yours.

Their materials are quality, and Tyler was the only estimator who took time to discover a foundation crack outside the garage from street creep, and determined the garage is sinking enough to start to keep an annual check on it. This company does amazing work within the community and supports many nonprofits and schools, on top of being founded by outstanding Christians! I am in Omaha, NE -- not SF a the title shows.

Thrasher Foundation Repair, took $14,032.56 from two disabled veterans, left our property damaged,…read moreand is now using slick corporate loopholes to keep our money. In August 2022, we hired Thrasher to fix sinking concrete around our home. The sales rep convinced us to buy their "clog-free" "Rain Drop" gutter guards so my husband--a 100% disabled veteran--would never have to risk climbing onto the roof again. The rep also left a "jerry-rigged," unfinished downspout wrapped around our chimney before being fired. For four straight years, the concrete work failed. Thrasher sent a different manager to our house every year (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), each offering a different excuse. Finally, this year, a Thrasher representative told us our concrete warranty was essentially void because our gutters were "insufficient." When we asked why they installed "clog-free" guards on a broken gutter system four years ago, they flippantly told us, "We aren't a gutter company, we just sell the guards." We had to hire an independent company to tear off Thrasher's product. They took shocking photos showing our gutters packed with mud, roof grit, and leaves. The "clog-free" guards were acting like a lid on a trash can. Thrasher knows they are in the wrong--they have offered us a partial refund of $9,200 for the concrete. But they are refusing to give back the rest of our money for the gutter guards because they claim the product "works." They actually told us we should have called them to come out and clean out the gutters. How would we have known this unless we climbed up to check them. We have the contracts and the photos of the choked gutters, with a menagerie of Thrasher's broken promises. We want to hold them accountable, so they don't do this to another veteran family.

Both were necessary to keep water out of our house. One was interior fixing and one required drilling out part of our basement to the bedrock and inserting piers to lift the front of the house. Sounds pretty expensive huh? Well that service and the other service were both priced way under what another very very popular water solutions company bid. In fact he showed us part of this other company's water system he pulled out of a house that continued to have problems. That sold me on the spot. I would rate this as 3.5 stars bc the price was great, installation went smooth but his team did make the house rather dirty and in the basement they covered NOTHING and all the kids toys and other things are now covered in dust. 1 year later I reviewing because we have had a lot of rain fall but nothing in the basement! Price and quality are definitely there, but I hope they improve their employees service.

We hired One Braid Two Trowels (Alx and Brandon) to remodel our half bath and master bath in our…read more1950's home. Having been through remodels before, we sketched up on our computer the layout changes, electrical adds, plumbing changes, etc., and wrote up descriptions of what we wanted done to both bathrooms before we got bids. The contractor we had used in the past had a full schedule already, but we were impressed with the pictures One Braid posted on FB, so we went with them. To specify exactly the new items we wanted, we went to local distributors and, with the help of salespeople, picked out everything from towel bars to the tub and shower enclosure, and all the tile and grout. In our previous remodel we split the purchases with our contractor, where we bought the vanity, mirrors and such, and he bought the shower enclosure, floor coverings and more. We didn't anticipate the communication issues that would arise with the third parties and our contractor on this project, and in retrospect we should have purchased more of the items ourselves. The communication issues, with misconfigured items or incorrect patterns, happened early, and One Braid corrected, but that added weeks of delays to the original 6-week schedule. Regarding tilework, One Braid does very good subflooring and tiling with careful attention to the underlayment, waterproofing, grout color matching, and such. They showed us previews of how different tile and grout combinations looked, which allowed us to confirm we had made good choices. The floor tear-outs went smoothly, and installs went well with a good eye to pattern matching; we were pleased. Tear out of the original tiled walls went well, but rather than hiring a plasterer, One Braid did the drywall and new plastering themselves, which maybe wasn't the best choice. Some seams and lumps were initially visible and later repaired. There were a couple of subcontractor swap outs, first with two different electricians and then with two different plumbers. Not being a plumber, One Braid might have done better bringing that trade into the bidding process earlier because the different tub and shower layout we designed required significant piping changes in the crawlspace below and added another delay due to plumber unavailability. The changes hadn't been included in the original job price and became an adder. Once the plumbing was correctly in place the remaining wall and shower tile went in. One Braid re-inspected the grouting and sealing, and did some touch up to assure a quality, waterproof job. The shower wall and door installation were delayed because one piece arrived broken; delivery of the replacement piece added more weeks of delay. Once the piece arrived One Braid was in later in the week to do the shower installation. One Braid came back again to tweak the squareness of the shower wall and door, and in the end got everything looking acceptable. All in all, if we had a kitchen floor to re-tile, or a bathroom floor, or other tiling job to do, we would certainly consider One Braid. For jobs beyond simply tiling, we'd want to have electrical, plumbing, drywalling, and painting subcontractors be included in a walkthrough in the bidding process for accurate upfront pricing, and then be actual subs on the contracted job.

The biggest issues were lack of communication and poor attention to detail. I've had to redo several things myself, including repainting, fixing plumbing to meet code, and dealing with unfinished or poorly done work like a non-functional hidden door, missing transition strips, and improperly stained doors and trim thats coming unglued. This project cost too much, took far longer than expected, and wasn't completed well. If even one of those areas had been better, I'd feel differently. As a small business owner, I try to support other women-owned businesses, so this was especially disappointing.
