I was remotely assisting my employer's staff who were taking special needs clients on an outing…read more They were driving an E-Transit that ran out of charge at the truck stop on I-29/Hwy 50. Ford Roadside Assistance would only refer us to Vermillion Ford for assistance with charging. When calling to make arrangements for service/re-charge, I was directed to the service manager. He was unfriendly to the point of being hostile. He claimed that there was absolutely no possibility of using their EV charging station until a full 5 days later, that they would not allow us to plug into110v trickle outlet to get the vehicle enough juice to get to a charging station that was less than 1/2 mile away because "all of their stalls were full", and when asked if he had any other suggestions responded with a flat "NO." I can't imagine why a dealership would put someone like this in a position that requires dealing with customers - especially customers needing service assistance with their vehicles. Say what you will about EVs...but Ford sells them and no one should have to deal with the level of contempt that I experienced during my phone call.

They were stuck open and as he tried to figure out what was wrong, the stuck open injectors {that he was told to replace} filled the cylinders with gas and blew up the engine. He then changed the oil, PUT ON THE NEW INJECTORS, PUT IN NEW SPARK PLUGS, thinking this might fix what he had already broken..?? I get a call that the engine blew up and I owe them $700 dollars for work done

North town was unwilling to correct the issue. Very pleased with the truck otherwise but very, very po'd they can't put the correct tires on for the price I paid for the truck. Now I have to dish out another 1200 bucks to put the right tires on a forty thousand dollar truck I just purchased so the speedo and other gouges work correctly! Ron Schulz Tabor, Sd

Warning to International Buyers - Extremely Unreliable Dealership!!…read moreAfter lengthy communication and signing a valid purchase agreement for a car from this dealership, the entire buying process became a farce. Although we had agreed on a wire transfer, the payment was supposedly rejected by the dealer's bank due to "transfer fraud." When I suggested alternative and secure payment methods like Western Union or a check upon pickup, they were rejected without a plausible reason. Suddenly, they insisted on cash payment--an unusual and risky demand for an international transaction of this kind. The communication was also extremely slow, which made the matter even more difficult. After investing a lot of time, effort, and money to complete this purchase, I am reluctantly withdrawing from the deal. I can only strongly advise any foreign buyers to stay away from this dealer. In all the years I've imported cars from the U.S., I have never encountered such an unprofessional way of doing business. If it were possible, I would give negative stars.

BATE, LIES, AND INCOMPETENCE from sales manager JASON BARR at the Lennox SD location. (LEMON -…read moreWhite 2012 Prius V Five - VIN JTDZN3EU8C3031943). Read on to hear our experience. BATE - We worked with a nice salesman who was lovely. He even sent us nice places to eat in the area since we were from out of town. We drove 5 hours from the twin cities to look at a car that was a great deal for the year and miles. We were assured it was in great condition and that the salesman could not find anything wrong with it. He even sweetly offered a small discount because I am a teacher. I was excited to buy my wife a nice car. LIES - upon arriving, I immediately noticed countless small rust spots along the entire passenger side of the car that did not appear in the photos. Not only on the passenger side, but also on the front, inside the doors etc. The nice salesman was clearly new and incompetent, so went to get his manager Jason Barr. Jason then proceeded to downplay the situation and tell us "all cars in Minnesota are like that" (not true), "clay bar" solution could fix it (temporarily), and that even our car had rust (ours has 200k miles with two dots, not the same). Basically all around sleazy sales tactics. Luckily I have a friend who owns an auto body shop, called him, and he told me to run as far away as I could. The salesman was clearly lying, it was always going to be an issue and would get worse. INCOMPETENCE - After we clearly said, "no", all the pressure and lying stopped and Jason was suddenly very apologetic and kind. We had put $2500 down on our credit card as a down payment to hold it until the weekend when we could drive down. Instead of refunding our money, he instead put an additional $2500 on our credit card! It took half a week to get all our money back while they maxed out our credit card. He clearly wanted to avoid this negative review so he offered us gift cards to a place that was closed and to another that was only good in Sioux Falls. Smooth. LESSON - they might have a car you want to buy. Get it checked out by a mechanic and don't trust ANYTHING they say. Also, they probably found a way to hide all the rust on this car so they can sucker someone else into buying it. I hope you read this post before you do.
