When asked when he would be finished, he tells me, "get out of my shop." Get the car back and there's a multitude of workmanship, mechanical and cosmetic issues. Marcelo sends me and E-mail advising he'd take care of all the issues, but could not/would not because he's lazy, overwhelmed and incompetent. Refuses to process a refund. Then he has the balls to tell me not to come back to his shop. Several other shops trying to repair all of Marcelo's negligence and incompetence. See his other negative reviews. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. DON'T USE THIS SHOP. Marcelo's will be dealt with through consumer affairs and a legal process.

I have literal boxes of baking soda in the car to minimize any smells could accumulate. When I got the car back, my tech was ripped out of the fronk and the trunk. There was dust and debris all throughout my car. But the biggest issue, is a weird one. It smells like something died in the air conditioner system. I didn't know what to do about it, so I asked them. They said maybe an air filter change. They gave me the runaround to go to the manufacturer dealership. It's just an air filter, I can probably change it. But that might not solve the issue. But I told them if they can at least change that I'll take that as a good faith and deal with whatever I have to deal with. I was already pissed at several other things. The rear door that they fixed is squeaking. My car was filthy my tech was ripped out. But for them to be so cheap that they can't change a $15 air filter is kind of pitiful. The guy up front, says not his issue and if they're going to fight over a $15 air filter, imagine what they'll do to your car with something much more expensive.... I think it's pitiful and disgusting! Ps, I didn't even mention all the other issues I had, the first day I even got there. They were supposed to have a rental ready for me, I am a very busy person. I needed that ready. Didn't even make the call for it until I got there . Then there was an issue with getting it and I wind it up have to pay for one myself. Long story short they're cheap and disorganized.

Beware of their deceptive, fraudulent and corrupt practices! Enter at your own risk/peril. They…read morewill destroy your vehicle. They destroyed the finish on our SUV! We took our SUV to CarToyz because the hood and roof had become dull after of going through so many car washes using brushes and harsh detergents combined with UV. Our vehicle was returned in worse shape than when we brought it in! When we dropped off our SUV, the hood was dull had minor scratches, but not it was not excessively scratched, color was consistently green, but dull. What Distinctive CarToyz returned to us was excessive scratch marks carved in the front hood and the green color removed/gone (see the photos). They also managed to remove the paint finish around the ignition switch. The interior of the car smelled like they had spilled an entire bottle of Windex inside. Clearly, the job was not in the wheelhouse. To add insult to injury they removed the car dealership decal on the back and put on their own Distinctive CarToyz business frame (see photo) around the back license plate. Blatantly corrupt to have people think we purchased our Tahoe from them and not from a reputable dealership. They are any but reputable. We took our SUV to our car dealer and for only a couple hundred dollars more than what CarToyz charged us ($1,500), Bennett Chevrolet made our SUV look brand new!
