The recent weeks were unkind to my 2026 Honda Civic Si. A piece of ice flew off a car in front of me and destroyed the front grill. Part 1 of 2: Looking for recommendations for a body shop nearby and a neighbor suggested Virgo Auto Body. Went there for a free estimate and followed up with a trip to my car dealership for some touch-up paint and their estimate. Turns out that I don't need to pull off my rear bumper for painting a dime-size scratch that had paint removed to the metal; the piece over the wheel is another story. Dealer can have detail work buff up the plastic piece, but for less money, Virgo can replace the piece with a brand new piece (and paint it). Virgo updated the cost of my original estimate, and it was LESS than the dealers! Being a leased vehicle, I'd rather replace a damaged piece than just buff the scratches off and save money on top of that. Part 2 will be added after the work is done. read more

The front end of my corvette that I had owned for less than a month was damaged after taking it into get detailed and they proceeded to leave the ebrake off / have it roll 15 feet. Virgo - specifically Dan and Beau, both took time out of their day to inspect the damage (at one point laying down on the ground!) at 730 AM without me having an appointment. I brought my '07 Ford Escape here in 2019 for severe rust damage around the back driver's side wheel and door - the damage was pretty bad, and many other body shops refused to even try and fix it. Someone backed in to my parked car and damaged the driver's door. Having a odd color car (lava) I was worried about the paint matching and looking right. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about at Virgo. They did a great job. You can't even tell the door was replaced. It looks like it came with the car. They are busy so you can expect it to take a week or so to get on the schedule. I was without my car for about 10 days, but the insurance company gave a decent rental. Great attitudes from the staff. Courteous and friendly. I've never been in an accident before and wasn't sure how the process worked. Thankfully they worked directly with the insurance company and enterprise car rental. If you need repairs and it's covered by insurance you should use Virgo. read more

More recently I had a reason to return and I am proud to report that they still provide excellent service. They give you a fair price, they keep you informed every step of the way, they complete the work when promised and even suggest ways to keep your cost down. They are friendly, and like I said before, its like going to a business the way businesses were run 50 years ago, they are honest, polite and do excellent work. When they returned my car to me it looked new. They even vacuumed the inside of the car which had nothing to do with the repair they were hired to do. They were so good compared to most other businesses' reviews I thought they must be fake. However after bringing my car there, I can write one of these reviews and it reads exactly like the others. My front bumper and ancillary parts required replacement on my 2019 Lexus 350 ES. The insurance company sent me to a local body shop for an estimate following which the shop suggested that I have the car repaired there. But I remembered that many years ago I needed a repair that wasn't covered by insurance and was shocked at the high estimates I was receiving. A friend referred me to Terry at Virgo Auto Body and they did the repair at a fraction of my other estimates. I was very much appreciative and never forgot how much he had helped me. So, I refused the offer by the other shop; took the car to Virgo and told them my little story and how much I had appreciated their help back then. I was amazed that, although many years had passed, Terry actually remembered my name. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the repair. The car looks as good as new and the service couldn't have been better. I couldn't be more satisfied and would strongly recommend Virgo. If I could give them six stars I would. I've only been there twice. The first time was a few years ago. I was parked at 30th St Station for a few days. Some kind of chemical or something dripped from the garage roof on to my hood, causing it to stain badly. I tried washing it, buffing it, compounding it - nothing worked. I took it to Virgo. I was preparing for a thousand dollar estimate. The guy comes out, takes a look, says "hold on". He comes back out with some type of cleaning agent, buffs the stain out, and says "that was all you needed. Have a good day". Didn't charge me a penny. I just took another car there to get scratches out of a side panel to my car. I was quoted $750 (which was lower than I expected). When I came to pick up my car they told me the work/part was cheaper than expected, so they only charged @$680. They do great work, are good people, and are the most honest body shop I've ever encountered. read more

My car was totaled on one side of the front passenger door. I also had minimal damage to my front and back bumper that was damaged previously to this repair which they tightened flawlessly. They had to replace the entire passenger side door which was completely obliterated Dan took the time to explain to me step by step the process that they were going to do to my car and sounded like the encyclopedia Brittanica of knowledge 101. Many years ago,my husband stopped at Virgo in desperation to make his door close on his very old Astro van after he was hit. He didn't want to spend the money on a proper repair on the old car and Terry at Virgo got his tools and he fixed it right then and there and refused to take any money. We've since only used Virgo for any issues we've had and they are the best. I was rear ended recently at a stop light and lots of damage to the rear of my car. We were told by insurance to expect 3-4 weeks and today they called us to come get my car. Only 1 1/2 weeks and it's beautiful! After reading reviews I had my insurance company tow the car to Virgo. The damage caused a ton of issues and the Virgo team kept me in the loop the entire way. We drove over to Virgo first thing this morning to see if we could get an estimate for some work to the hood of our car that was badly rusting. We met and spoke with Terry who took the time to explain our options. Honest people are so hard to come by these days, so when you find someone like Terry, you know you have found a gem. He was very straightforward, letting us know that given the condition of the rust (which had flaked badly, leaving bald areas of rust), it would be best for us to clear it off and apply product to it. We've owned the car since 2005 (original owner), so it didn't make sense for us to do a complete hood revamp. Given our experience here, we would not hesitate to return if we needed any future body work done. Businesses with people like Terry is what brings back clients and referrals. Sadly, honesty and trustworthiness is a rare thing these days. If only there were more Terrys in the world! read more

My wife got rear-ended on her way home from work one day. So, I went around, getting estimates, with Virgo as one of them. They weren't the least expensive (they were in the middle), but they were certainly the best. They fully explained what repairs were needed, fully outlined the costs, and timelines. Whenever I have an issue with the body of my car, there is only one place I take it! Virgo is the spot. Terry works with you and won't rip you off and his team does great work. Your car looks as good as new after they are done with it! I was recently unemployed and needed to replace my driver side mirror and Terry was able to find a used mirror that saved me a couple hundred dollars and he painted it and called me when it was ready and threw it on real quick. A month later I brought it in with a dent from when someone hit my car and they fixed that as well that was paid by the driver's insurance. A young driver drove into the side of my car in early February. With the supply chain shortage, repair shops were quoting long due times to even begin initiating a repair effort. I reached out to Virgo and they were able to expedite the start of my repair. Unfortunate accident happened 5 days after I purchased a new car. Drunk driver turned into the side of my vehicle on Rt. 73 causing major right fender and headlight damage, and scraping up both rims on the passenger side as well as leaving a number of paint scratches down the side of the vehicle. I had been aware of Virgo's work for some time and thought this would be the place to try to get my MDX back to working order. The accident happened on December 1st and by the 21st I had the car back in my possession. First thing - Terry and Dan who work the front desk responded quickly to my requests and even recommended I see the appraiser from my insurance company who worked down the street at another body shop. Great advice as he went top to bottom on the car and recommended replacement of a number of parts that a previous shop wanted to remediate with sanding and buffing. After receiving the estimate - I made the appointment with Virgo and dropped the car off on December 10th. Virgo was able to work with the insurance company for replacement rims as opposed to repairing the existing rims due to the reconditioned rims not matching 100% to the non-damaged rims on the driver side. Upon pickup I examined the car and noticed a small scratch on the left side (driver's) fender. I pointed it out and got angry when Dan asked me how I was sure they were responsible. I am extremely detail oriented and tend to notice small paint imperfections etc.. almost immediately when they happen so didn't take too kindly to his questioning. He insisted his tech was so methodical during the process that it was unlikely the scratch was caused by them. I pulled up some photos of the car when it was dropped off and lo and behold Dan was right - it appears the scratch was caused during the accident and I had not noticed it at the time. Virgo offered to submit an addendum to the insurance company for the accident however due to how small the scratch was I declined at this time and touched it up with some detail paint. There were some slight paint imperfections (dust/debris in the clear in a couple of spots) which Virgo says they will schedule a time to wet sand and buff. Overall though great job - the seams between the body parts are just about perfect and the paint matching is easily within 95% or more. The car drives and feels solid considering how much disassembly had to be done and re-assembly, I was nervous about noise and ride quality being affected etc. The car was delivered on-time and looks great overall. This is one of the very few honest autobody shops out there. A lot of body shops will promise you this and that, but this one actually will go beyond to earn your trust. I've dealt with a couple of autobody shops, but this one is truly one of the best. I had a problem with the repair couple of months after it was fixed (the paint didn't match completely but it was because I was a little OCD about it.) They were very nice and were able to accommodate me by repainting it and guaranteeing their work for life! I truly appreciate their customer service, and I would not hesitate to go back to them again. I've dealt with them on two occasions. One of them, my car was totaled and they took care of everything. While I was there, they helped out another customer by fixing their scratches free of charge! They have a long standing reputation and I'm very fortunate to have them close by in case of emergencies. I am so incredibly pleased that I found this auto body shop (thanks to Yelp reviews). When the gentleman came out to look at my car, I expected that it would be expensive estimate. To my surprise he was able to insert the bumper into the body with just one tool. After I overcame my amazement, I asked how much do I owe him? Again speechless, NO CHARGE!! I had to come back to virgos after my first experience here for my car repairs & I'm happy to say that the experience was just as pleasant as my first. I got three estimates and Virgo's was in the middle. However, they're open and honest and if it's a difference 1-200 dollars I would happily go to someone I could trust with my car. My bumper looks better than when I first bought the car. I had an issue starting my car and they jumped and explained to me my battery was corroded. They cleaned my battery off, gave me instructions on how to get it to stay on and I'm writing this review as I'm on my way to get a new battery. I really enjoy coming to this shop, everyone is very friendly and honest as to what issues/what's going on with your car.
