Great is not sufficient enough for the OUTSTANDING service that I receive on a regular visit to Elite Auto. As the owner of a luxury vehicle, I decided to keep it beyond the second warranty period. There is no other repair service in South Jersey that is comparable unless you use the dealerships. I was fortunate enough to have a list of items for future repairs from the dealership with pricing. Elite was beyond and fair in the pricing comparison and quality of workmanship. Now after 2 years of pandemic, its very difficult to quickly purchase a specific car especially pre-certified. I thank God for Elite that has help me weather this precarious mechanical dilemma of purchasing a car in post-pandemic world. Contacted Elite Auto for alignment information. Asked if alignments were done on site, was told they were Asked the price of the alignment, was told it was $150. When I arrive, I'm told my vehicle would need to be transported to another business at a secondary location to perform the alignment. I contacted the business they're outsourcing their alignments to, it was another local alignment shop. I inquired about their prices, was told it would be 99$. Elite auto is fraudulently advertising and up charging $50 to drive cars down the street to a separate business. Drive down the road to AL-BS's and save $50. I was staying at the Best Western Plus, across the road from Elite Auto Service, when I noticed a weird sound coming from my front tire. I was about to leave the hotel to drive across the state and called Elite Auto Service at 7:00am to see if they could take a look at the tire for me. They weren't officially open, but told me to bring my car over anyway. They were able to find the problem and fix it in just a few minutes. They were incredibly accommodating, professional and friendly. I have to agree with Jay. I hve been here three times now and I always leave impressed. This is highly unusual for an auto repair shop in my experience. The last time I brought my truck in they even drove me home. This made the service experience much more convenient. As a side note, it may seem that they only work on Mercedes and BMW's from the parking lot but they have always been happy to work on my Nissan SUV. read more

Absolutely the best auto repair/ body shop around. Honesty is the key here. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. When I go in for an oil change they do a complete check. Unlike many other shops they tell you when there is nothing else wrong with your car. Most places always find something else wrong. I've have major repairs and body work done here. I honestly thought I had nerves of steel but after a hit & run accident I went to sign the police report & noticed my hand shaking! Adding to the stress I was getting no replies from my insurance company. Things were getting scary cuz this is on a Friday afternoon & I can't afford to miss work on Monday to resolve this. BUT Elite got on the horn & I was in a rental in time to get home for dinner! I don't know what I would have done without them! I'm so impressed with this company. I have to say, I completely disagree with the one bad review here. I've been around long enough to know when I'm being taken advantage of. If these guys were going to try and rip anyone off, it would be me (because I'm a woman). Here's what impressed me: Responsive - I emailed them from their website Monday night. I needed a stereo/DVD player installed before Thursday (before a painfully long drive with my restless boys). I doubted I'd get a response (most small companies don't even seem to bother checking). But I got an email from Mike Tuesday morning. And he took the time to write more than "bring it in so we can look at it". He outlined a couple of scenarios...told me the hourly labor rate...asked about the adapter I had... Honest - I made it clear that I didn't want to spend big bucks on this job (we're talking about a 10 year old Pacifica) because I'm getting a new car as soon as this one dies. He worked quickly and quoted the cost for a new adapter plus labor (no tricky sales pitch). Not a bad deal. Reliable / Prepared - he said he could have the parts the next day (check). I forgot to ask him to order an antenna adapter but it didn't matter because he had one (check). He said he could get it fixed on time (check). Great Service - see above! If you're trying to decide where to go, this is the place. You won't regret it. I live in Columbia but took a chance on driving further and it was worth it! I was referred here by a close relative and was certain I would be treated with exceptional customer service. I was very sadly mistaken. I called Monday morning for an estimate and spoke with Steve and he assured me I would receive a call back within the hour. I waited four hours and called back and was told he was busy so I left him a voicemail. The following day I spoke with an associate of his and he assured me I would receive a call back. NEVER HAPPENED! I have worked with body shops in my career but this is by fat one of the worst I have dealt with! read more

This is one of those reviews where I didnt actually use the service. This this this company was recommended to me by my supervisor and I did call and ask for a quote. A lady Rebecca C. Sent me a nice message via Yelp asking me to call for an estimate. I called and played phone tag three times trying to get an estimate and spoke to a Tom and another person. No one ever got back to me and the one time they did call back they did not leave a message even though I stated I would be at work. So this is not reflect the quality of work at Elite. However they should follow up in order to get their business. As a result I did find a great mechanic elsewhere. I would just like to leave this as an FYI for the service outside of mechanics. read more

1 star is being exceedingly generous; if I could leave a review with no stars, I would. I brought my car with the intent of having a very specific problem investigated, only to be told that the problem wouldn't undergo the diagnostic process until a totally unrelated problem was resolved first. Their diagnosis revealed a problem I was aware of, and asked to ignore when investigating the reason the car was there in the first place. Long story short, I paid $100 to learn absolutely nothing about the problem at hand, and now must find another mechanic that will actually investigate the item(s) that need to be repaired. Sadly, this experience was similar to my first experience with this establishment (which occurred over 7 years ago), in which the work performed on the car wasn't up to my standards from neither a parts nor labor standpoint, as all of the work had to be redone several months later by another mechanic. I figured that perhaps Elite's business practices had changed for the better between then and now; apparently, the opposite is true in this case. Needless to say, I won't recommend this establishment's services to anyone under any circumstance. read more

Only gave one star because I couldn't give zero! WORST MECHANIC COMPANY IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! My boyfriends car was brought in for an oil leak in January. He was told a number of things needed replacing and it could be done in a week. 3 weeks later he still did not have his car after being give a run-around about what was going on. After almost a month, he finally got it back and was charged over $2000 for the work done. He had the car for AN HOUR once he picked it up and the engine seized. The car was towed back to elite and he was told it was nothing they did wrong but he needed a new engine! They could have it in a week, checked and installed within 2 weeks. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER he still does not have his car and has made two car payments without being able to drive it!! The new engine was installed but wouldn't start. The owner said the timing got messed up when they were unloading the engine so he had to order a $600 tool to fix it and it would take a week to get the tool! you are an "elite" car mechanic company!!! You should already have this tool! This was on a Monday. My boyfriend was told by Friday they should have it fixed and ready to go. Friday, they told him Monday, Monday they told him Tuesday, Tuesday turned into next Monday. They gave him a car that they give their "good" customers as a loaner, which broke down on him! They wanted to charge another $6000 for the engine (after giving only a $500 break on the price for inconvenience)! Oh, but "the engine is super clean" is all they kept saying. Who cares how clean an engine is if you can't get it to work!? This is the most F'ed up mechanic I've ever dealt with! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THEM! They will make whatever is wrong with your car worse and charge you thousands to fix it while denying any responsibility!! Total bullshit business!! read more
