From the moment they answered, they were so incredibly professional, on the point, and the easiest car related place that I've ever done business with. The lady at the front desk needs some sort of reward because she's one of a kind. The owner Steve is an outstanding guy and was super prompt and helpful in any questions we had. Precision was incredibly quick with their service and had the car back to my fiance in record time. The car feels new and drives better than it ever has before! Nick ignored my calls, forcing me to travel out of pocket just to check on my car. When applying for financing, he even suggested using a false address, making me uncomfortable. After the inspection, I was told my transmission was in such bad shape that it would cost $5,000 to replace. Due to the constant runaround, I chose to discontinue service. I still paid $800 for the inspection and an additional $175 for towing to return my car. My car never arrived as promised. Nick ignored my calls all day, then finally answered just before closing to tell me the car would come Saturday at 10 AM. It never arrived, and I later discovered the shop is closed on weekends! I believe I was misled and treated unfairly. As an African American customer, I feel discrimination played a role in my experience. I have been patient and professional, yet received dishonest service, financial misconduct, and complete disregard for my time. Avoid AACMO at all costs! They will take your money, waste your time, and leave you without your car.

Earlier this week, my vehicle was struck by a delivery van and declared a total loss by the insurance company. The initial valuation was low but I put a lot of work into my car this past year. I didn't keep any of my receipts but fortunately Lou does! He was able to make copies of all receipt documentation for the work that he did on my car so that I could show the insurance company. I came into Mulhern's for a squealing belt that I had been plagued with for weeks. I have driven…read morepast Mulhern's in the past and decided to give the shop a chance. My past experience with mechanics has been that I've been misled, repairs did not resolve the problems, or repairs have been unreasonably expensive. This was NOT the case at Mulhern's. Throughout my entire repair experience, Bob (who is the owner) was extremely courteous and professional. He clearly communicated with me and was very transparent. He shows genuine care for you as a customer and your car concerns. When I brought my car into the shop, Bob assured me that they would look into my belt complaints and reassured me that they would take a look at the vehicle overall and follow-up with an estimate. I received a follow-up call that day with the cost of repairs and was even alerted to a broken rear brake light which they would also replace. The repair costs were fair and affordable. Once repairs were complete, Bob explained in layman terms what had been wrong with my vehicle (it was the belts!) and, to my surprise, showed me the cracked belts that had caused the squealing. Bob also had a prepared list of his evaluation of my tires, brakes, battery power and other potential issues to keep an eye on for future repairs and the most urgent issues. I had recently had body work after an accident and he flagged missing clips on my bumper. I never felt pressured to make any additional repairs that day. I have an older vehicle, and even with my diligence, I am always concerned about unexpected repairs. Bob made me feel confident about the condition of my car and getting back on the road. Before I left, I was even given a free ice scraper which came in handy in the icing rain that morning! It's been one week and things are still all quiet. As soon aa we arrived to the location they were waiting for us outside and took our car in right away! They said they were closing soon and 15 minutes before they closed they still took our car for an inspection! The price was so reasonable and the turn around was very quick!
