I would at least like to get on the schedule, so I'm not waiting months to get my toe surgery since my toe has been broken for three months and I'm in pain. Everybody has a busy schedule and I'm taking the time right now to write this review so that other people can know what to expect. This is an update to my first review. I've been a patient of Dr Norris's practice for three months now and finally, I'm getting surgery to remove a bone. At the time of my visit a week and a half ago they told me that they only schedule surgeries on Thursday. Thursday came last week and no phone call. I call on Friday and the call center sent them an urgent message that they didn't get back to me and no phone call today. I call the office in Coconut Creek and they couldn't give me an answer, except that surgeries are only scheduled on Thursday. I really wish I would have just waited the time to get into the Fort Lauderdale office because now who knows when my surgery will actually get scheduled and I'm in pain. In a walking shoes so long that it is almost worn out. I would have given you a lower score except the people in the office are very nice. However, my patience has run thin and I'm looking into another doctor even if I have to go out of the area. I hope whoever congratulated me on the five star review would get in touch with me and expedite at least getting the surgery scheduled. In 2006 I had a bunion ectomy and four of my toes straightened out with pins after the surgery was…read moreover. I had to have physical therapy for three months. It was very painful, of course but everybody says bunion and surgeries are very painful. However, I have two toes that rub together since 2006 and one to my baby toe hanging off the side. The bunion ectomy was great. The rest was awful, it's now 2024 and I have suffered with this for 18 years. I went back and he took an x-ray and said the two bones were rubbing together and that's why I had this awful feeling between my second third toe and he wanted to do surgery to shave the bone and I said no way I'm never doing surgery on my foot again. I finally figured out that if I put a Band-Aid around one toe, it doesn't rub the other toe but for the first two years, I couldn't sleep at night. I didn't know what was wrong. It was a weirdest feeling at first they thought it was neuropathy and I got a shot which lasted exactly half an hour and it was back. My sister who was a nurse practitioner said if it's only bad at night when your shoe was off it must be the position of your foot so I started sleeping with sandals on And then I finally figured out by accident. I had a blister when I put a Band-Aid on it, turned out that I didn't feel it, but I can't go without shoes or a Band-Aid on my toes. I buy the socks that have the feet and toes separated that helps but Someone warned me about this when I was in the waiting room for the surgery. This lady was sitting next to me and she had had the same surgery and she told me about her toe bothering her and it happened to me too because this was such a bad experience.
