The MA showed me to a room, left and didn't shut the door. The staff with the office manager right there at the reception desk started talking loudly about a patient they referred to "as that old lady" who was being difficult in payer her bill. I had to walk out to the desk and tell them I could hear every word of their loud conversation and how unprofessional they were being referring to a patient as "that old lady". My pain always returns sometimes taking my breath away. Level 8 pain is excruciating and debilitating. Several years ago it was recommended that I meet with Dr Chad Frank. My friend was confident Dr Frank could offer relief from my suffering. I knew nothing about Osteopathic treatment but took the advice and made the appointment. My experience with the Non-Surgical Center for Physical and Sports Medicine Center has been wonderful. The waiting room never has more than one or two patients because the staff understand the value of patients time. It's a wonderful thing to be treated courteously by office staff. Dr Chad Frank has been able to relieve my back pain which allows me greater range of motion. I know that when my back "goes out" I can trust that Dr Frank will be there to help. I have practically crawled into the center at times because when my back acts up the pain is intense. After just one visit I realize significant relief from my agony. Live with it or go through an invasive costly surgical procedure. Also plan upon months of therapy and recovery. Having been the victim of a botched surgical procedure in my youth, I'm really thorough about checking into who my surgeon is going to be and the facility in which the surgery is going to take place. After checking out everything I made an appointment with Dr.Ross Wodicka and couldn't have been more delighted. He's not only a great doctor but real good down to earth guy who carefully explains all your options and matters involving the procedure. Matter of fact, because of my age being 74, he wasn't cut happy and really wanted me to know what I was going to be put through in order to recover and whether I thought it would be worth it. Well, because I was unable to lift my martini glass to my lips (that's practically the definition of very serious), of course it was worth it. I might also add that Dr. Wodicka is a sports doctor specialist with a fellowship in a well-recognized sports orthopedic institute. So if one can trust the multimillion dollar shoulders and knees of professional athletes to him, I think I can trust mine to him too. Anyway my surgery went just fine. Matter of fact incredibly fine. I don't even have a surgical scar, never needed any pain meds and now near 8 months later 90% recovered and doing exceptionally well.
