I also felt the photo packages were reasonable. We cherish our engagement photos- they are still my favorite photos of us, and we are excited to use our new headshots on our website! My fiancé and I had a few ideas for the general feel of the video, but we weren't entirely sure how to turn it into a story. We gave a few details to Arvin, and his team came up with a timeline / storyboard in no time. After a few days of email correspondence, we came up with a final script that we were happy with...all thanks to OpenGlass's creativity & attention-to-detail :) The day of the shoot came, and the 3-man crew was prompt and super efficient. They gave us a rundown on the order of the shots, outfit changes, and location changes. When we were in front of the camera, they gave clear direction and instructions on how to act; making us feel completely at ease. My fiancé and I definitely had a great time acting out and being silly. OpenGlass Studio definitely captured the essence of us; nothing overly-sweet, overly-done, nor overly-dramatized. It's just the perfect, casual & kitschy cool that summarizes us. We absolutely love the video, Arvin & crew!!! (Check it out on Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/92153637) We were actually hoping to book them for our wedding, but they were already committed to another wedding that same weekend. If you're considering a videographer / photographer team, we'd highly recommend OpenGlass Studio!!! LIKE TOTALLY! :)

They provided enough direction, but were not intrusive at all. They worked so hard on our big day, ensuring their team was distributed at different locations to capture everything that was happening. Even our guests were impressed by the team's professionalism & effort! And I cannot say enough about the final product. The team definitely put their heart and soul into our video. They were able to capture not only my husband's and my personality and energy, but also captured the love and happiness of our special day. OpenGlass was definitely the right choice for our big day.

He tells their love story through memorable moments. No two videos are the same as he creates them to reflect the beauty and uniqueness of the day. Since I love his work I recently asked Josh to create a promo video for me to show my clients who I am and what I do. I wasn't used to being in front of the camera but he made it so relaxed and fun I forgot we were filming. The video turned out incredible and I couldn't be happier with the way he understood the vision and made it a reality. Back in 2009 when he was building his portfolio, we asked him if he would shoot pictures for our engagement party. That way we had some great pictures to remember the night, and we also got to help out a good friend of ours. Wow, Oliver truly went above and beyond! The pictures were excellent quality, and without even asking, he was so kind to put everything on a disc and he even put the pictures into a slide show for us. We had so many people ask who did our pictures. And Oliver was really great about not being obtrusive or anything. He let everything flow naturally and got mostly candid moments, which is exactly what we wanted. But at the end of the night, he did get my husband and I together to take a picture since we hadn't taken one together all night long! We appreciated that because we otherwise would not have thought about it. When we heard that Oliver was officially starting his own business, we were so excited because he has the talent to go far. We were also a bit bummed because we had already booked a photographer for our wedding! So now we are doing our part by raving about Oliver because he is absolutely worth it. He is dedicated to his work and it is not just a job, but it's clearly his passion. You know you are in good hands with Oliver.

He was the DJ at our August 2013 wedding and I couldn't be happier. The reason our night was as amazing as it turned out was in a large part due to Dennis. He is an incredible emcee and the night flowed so smoothly. There was never a dull moment. The thing that impressed me the most is that when my husband and I finally sat down at our sweetheart table he asked if he could get us a drink. SERIOUSLY?! Come on guys, that is rare and just seriously amazing. I had a few unique requests that didn't even phase Dennis! The most important to me was meshing two very different songs for my father/daughter dance. I wanted to dance to one song, more of a pop-type with my biological father and to a country song with my step dad, not an easy thing to mash-up! I also wanted the two to fade into each other and be cut down so the dance wouldn't be two full songs. The final product blew my mind, it was perfect. He even slowed down the country song so that it was more "danceable." The way he invited my step-dad out to the floor was classy and casual, it wasn't an awkward moment which was what I was concerned about. He absolutely did EXACTLY what I asked for. I got countless comments on the way the evening flowed. With Dennis you get way more than a DJ, he is an amazing emcee. So many people told me it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to. The music was SPOT on all night, it was a blast. The dance floor was constantly packed and even my older relatives were out there dancing because the music didn't alienate them. My husband and I told Dennis all we wanted was for people to have fun and dance, and they did all night. He found a way to satisfy everyone's music tastes (even though I like country, my husband likes reggae and my parents like classic rock!). Last minute we sprung for some up-lighting. It isn't my style to go outlandish and I was worried it would be too expensive, but I wanted the room to have a little something extra. Not only was the pricing totally reasonable, but Dennis actually made us a custom light color to match our accent color in the table linens. The room was bathed in a soft glow and looked absolutely perfect. He goes so far above and beyond what you'd expect from a run-of-the-mill DJ, and that's simply because he isn't one! (I don't think I'm being biased but) our wedding was hands down the most fun event I've ever been to and I think a large part of that is because of Dennis. He made us so comfortable and the night flowed perfectly because of his emcee talents. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a DJ and book Dennis. You won't get one of those cheesy wanna-be comics trying to steal the stage from the couple. What you get is a truly professional DJ and emcee who REALLY knows his stuff (seriously just ask him for music suggestions and prepare to have your mind blown!).

We ended up scheduling an appointment with him to talk more details and to decide whether we would book him for our wedding in May. He was prompt, had sample music for us, and had great suggestions for music for the ceremony and the reception. I loved that he was so professional and organized and even had a wedding worksheet for us to fill out as homework to guide both him and us for what music should be played and how the night would be played out. We hired him and we are happy that we did. DJ Dennis is a REAL DJ. Not just one that plays a playlist from an iPod. We had a chance to see him spin during the dancing hour, and it was fun for us and our guests to watch. He had a great feel for crowd and had everyone dancing, young (6 years old) and old (80 years old)!!!
