My husband and I knew that we wanted to work with Shawn when we saw him at a bridal show and he never tried to "sell" us. He was very laid back from the moment we met him and was genuinely interested in our story and the possibility of helping tell it. This first impression ended up carrying through the entire planning process and wedding day. Shawn made sure to understand what was important to us and get a feel for our personalities to know how to work with us. It can be pretty odd to think of someone recording you all day on your wedding, but Shawn felt like another friend there who was happy to be there. His assistant (didn't get his name) was just as much of a pleasure to work with and have around on our wedding day. Shawn genuinely enjoyed the moments that he was capturing and was good at giving us just enough input so we could still be natural and he could get the shots he thought would look best and mean the most to us. He was even great dealing with our guests and interacting with them to make them feel comfortable, and entertaining them with his camera stabilizer when they were on the dance floor. We don't have our footage yet, and he has been extremely flexible in providing guidance to us post-wedding! Lloyd Films are the best videographers in San Diego! I found Shawn just by googling San Diego wedding videographers. I was immediately drawn to his high quality videos. They were stylish and romantic without being cheesy. He had really good prices compared to the other videographers I had looked up. We set up an appointment and met at a Starbucks. Shawn was so down to earth, friendly, and relaxed all while being attentive to my needs and very professional. This is so important, especially since these vendors will be with you on your wedding day following you around! He felt like an old friend. I signed the contract right then and there and was able to pay him in installments, which was helpful for me. On the day of the wedding, Shawn and his second shooter were able to capture everything about our wedding; tiny details as well as the big stuff such as the speeches and ceremony. It is so amazing to have my family members captured on film, especially grandparents. Shawn was nothing but a pleasure to work with! We love our wedding video so much and I honestly think hiring Shawn was one of the best decisions we made as far as vendors go. Our wedding video seriously came out amazing.
