Received the final edited pictures and was very disappointed. Trash on the floor that was not edited out, obvious dirty dripping marks on the wall, no clothing edits where needed no professional retouching at all and the worst is the outdoor piping and signs that were not removed. The quality I expected since he quote on quote edited all pics in one day! I messaged him to let him know I was very unhappy. You got a supposedly professional photographer and get back finished photos with trash, outdoor piping and no retouching at all! I was unhappy and very honest. The response I received back was more unprofessional than the photos. My unhappiness was a problem from his very first response, very passive aggressive, entitled and just got worse from there! He was more worried about his feelings being hurt by my honesty than the quality of the services rendered by his company. Was honestly not being mean... if I was a photographer I would be mortified if I sent final edited pics with trash, dirty walls and outdoor piping that according to him was all minor and the charm of working outside! That's the whole point of professional photography where there was once trash........ there is editing...!!!!! Update to his response: he did in fact recommend Balboa park and actually said he thinks it would be great! PLEASE SEE ADDED PICTURE OF HIS MESSAGE STATING THAT! Was never told it would be a 3 week turn around which either way would not have been a problem. Since I was not made aware I simply touched bases to find out! Was in no way rushing! You were more focused on going on and on about how you thought I was being mean then actually remedying the situation. Like you stated in the messages I said what I had to say and so did you. But instead of switching to remedying the situation you just kept on with how you were unhappy about my delivery then continued to get more unhappy that I had responses to your consistent opinions on my delivery. Also, just an FYI I am sorry you feel that way is not an apology and lacks professional accountability! Black rider studios continues to up date his update trying to play victim. The pictures clearly show where your focus was Instead of being professional and focusing on the problem at hand. Me responding to your non resolution focused texts or voicing my unhappiness is not harassment! Again unprofessional! And the lies you are typing like removing homeless you showed me the pictures you are referring to and my body literally hid the tents as they were far away!! Just like you said you never recommend balboa and you did in fact recommend it! All cameras photograph the surroundings as they are but professional photographers make edits so the pictures look professional! You are just going in circles with excuses that do not remedy the quality of final edits you sent! Bottom line if you look at the final product you sent me and feel that correctly documents your talent as a photographer and you are happy with your work then so be it! I simply paid to get what I thought were going to be professional quality photos and the ones sent were poorly edited and no where near professional level! And when voiced to you instead of keeping it about the photos and business you choose to let your emotions lead you into only focusing on that! Vs actually editing the photos. All of your negative reviews have the same feedback from you!!!! All emotion and defense focused! A customer voicing there unhappiness for a service they paid for is not a mistake! I don't even know where to begin with this review! I truly have so many good things to say that it's just piling on my mind. Let me start by saying that communicating with Tony & Maria was so easy. They were considerate, quick to respond, and always more than glad to answer any questions or concerns. They were so patient with us before and during our wedding. They, along with Steve & Abraham from Yugen Films, were so amazing and fun to work with on our big day. They make such an incredible team. I love that they captured lots of great moments, down to the smallest details. They weren't constantly asking us for things or to pose. They just knew what they wanted to take pictures of and who. I love every single detail they shot. All of them are truly experts. They knew how to work around a crowded, lively hotel room as we were preparing for the wedding. It honestly felt like they were just hanging out with us, not in an unprofessional way but as in they weren't getting in people's ways. According to many of our guests, they were impressed at how the 4 of them didn't obstruct any views at the ceremony and reception or gave the impression that they have the "right of way" since they were capturing our big day. Yet, they captured the best moments perfectly! It was such a pleasant surprise to see our photos (and video!). Looking at our album, I was falling in love with literally every other photo and my reaction was, "Oh wow! They caught that!" I'm no photography expert whatsoever, but I definitely love their style. Just what I wanted/imagined. As I briefly mentioned earlier, they're not into constantly staging the entourage or telling them to pose/act/pretend/etc.. I loved that so much because 1) it tends to waste time especially on a busy wedding day, and 2) it obviously isn't natural or genuine. Yes, there were a few times that we did pose because we took family/entourage portraits, but for the most part, we just went about our day as if no photo/video crew was following us. I can say with no hesitation that you can give them full trust to handle your big day! Another thing I loved (so did my family and guests) was the reception portraits. They were so good about coordinating with our venue to set up the background, and they were on top of it. They had all our guests line up to get a quick shot with us--no time wasted! When we shared the photos with the guests, everyone loved them. These guys are all about catching candid moments and making sure you go about your big day without being anxious of getting your picture/video taken. Worst experience of my life! My wedding took place on August 26, 2016 and I didn't receive my entire package until 05/27/17. My husband and I made the mistake of paying them in full before the day of the event. They were always in desperate need of payment and always willing to come for the payment but could never deliver my images as promised.
