We used Cloudbreak Films for our wedding. We initially didn't budget for a videographer but decided to hire one as we wanted to have a highlight video of the ceremony edited the same day and shown at the reception. (We had a smaller intimate ceremony and larger reception.) I'm so glad that we found Jerry from Cloudbreak Films. We absolutely loved the videos he created for us. He was able to provide a 10 minute fully edited video of the ceremony (and bridal prep) just a few hours after our ceremony that was played at our reception. We could not believe what he was able to do in such a short amount of time. Everyone loved the video. Jerry also provided us with a fully edited version of the ceremony (and bridal prep) along with the highlight video 2-3 weeks after the wedding. The videos are amazing and Jerry captured everything that we could have asked for and for a great price. Not only did we love his video work, but we appreciated his professionalism: he was very quick to respond to my questions, he arrived early to the ceremony, and he didn't eat dinner (we provided to him at our reception) until he finished the same day edit. Jerry from CloudBreak Films filmed our wedding day this past August 11. And I am soo happy because now we will forever remeber our wedding. My mother and I met him about 9 months before the wedding. He took a video of a wedding he filmed about a month before we met. I felt like I was at the wedding. I laughed and cried throughout the whole thing. He explained all of his packages and answered all the questions we had. We signed the contract with him that very day. We choose the package witht the bride and groom prep. We had a female photographer with the bride and the girls and a male photographer with the groom and the guys. They were both great and filmed all the fun that happens before the wedding along with capturing all the details. We had the photographers at the church filming the ceremony. After the ceremony. One of the photgraphers stayed with the bridal party for the photo session while the other went to the reception venue to film the cocktail hour and the details of the venue. All the videographers were great. we had a lot of fun hanging out with them before the wedding and during the photo session. Having a videographer was the best decision. I knew that my husband and I would be so overwhlemed with excitement that we would miss all the little details. Now thanks to Jerry and his staff, we will forver remember our wedding and be able to share it with our children and family that could not make the wedding. We are hapy that he will also be capturing my brother's wedding in October. Cloudbreak Films is the company to use for video!! And as we just recieved our video a couple of days ago. I was so fortunate to find Jerry of Cloudbreak Films. I needed a short film made of a childhood obesity program my volunteer organization was having. I was working from a grant so my budget was tight. The film he shot was amazing! He was great to work with: answering calls and emails in an hour or less most of time, reasonable prices, very friendly, and his work is wonderful, very creative. He met with me beforehand to discuss our event and the film; he did not charge extra for that. He had a film done within a week, and was fine when I asked for a few minor changes. First off, let me start by saying, if I could rate Cloudbreak Films with more than a 5 star, I would! A week before my wedding I comepletely changed my mind from not having a videographer to having one. As you can imagine looking for a good vendor in such short notice was pure Chaos! I made cotacts to multiple vendors via email as well as phone calls, some of which didn't even return my call or respond to my e-mail. However, Jerry from Cloudbreak Films responded to me very quickly and from that point on, he and his team have been a blessing to our wedding! Not once did I have to worry about anything. Jerry was VERY responsive, flexible, understanding and professional as well as his team. My husband and I never felt uncomfotable with our decision. We used Cloudbreak films for our May 2015 wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. Jerry was fantastic to work with as our wedding videographer. He was nice and friendly but not in our faces at the wedding (in fact I barely noticed that we were being videotaped) and when the videos came out we were blown away by the quality and how amazing it was to be able to re-live the day in real time. Also, when there were some pictures that the photographers weren't able to get, Jerry was able to find the stills in the footage and we were very grateful for that. Wow where do I begin for what Jerry captured on our wedding day. The amount of details that was on our video was completely unexpected! As the bride you miss the ceremony because your the last to enter but watching it unfold we see the love and reaction from our family and friends and truly that's what we wanted! My husband and I were extremely pleased we chose Jerry Patterson of Cloudbreak Films for our wedding videographer. Our video package included full ceremony, cocktail hour and reception plus a prepared photo montage to display at the reception and a short highlight video with three DVDs and two BluRays. Jerry was extremely flexible with us on customizing our package. He accommodated our request to stay on until the last song. He also included more photos than originally planned in the photo montage which we really appreciated. Whenever we had questions for Jerry prior to the day of our wedding he was extremely responsive and would get back to us over email or phone immediately. On the day of the wedding he was able to capture every moment perfectly but we never felt like he was interrupting the events or intruding on any of the guests. He went above and beyond his contract to help make our day even more special for us. Jerry sent us the highlight video by the time we were back from our honeymoon and we were so impressed. The footage smoothly transitioned into different scenes and I particularly enjoyed how he overlaid my father's voice from his father of the bride speech over the father daughter dance. Just a few weeks later we received the full wedding video. Again, we were so impressed. The video editing was top notch with high definition video, very clear sound and exceptional editing. My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary and the highlight of the day was re-watching the video from Cloudbreak Films. I can't believe I never reviewed Jerry. After our original videographer bailed on us, I found Jerry after tons and tons of google hours. He was amazing from our first meeting on. My husband deployed a couple months after we were married, and even though we've been together for a long time, and this wasn't our first separation, having the video of this day, captured so well, was invaluable to me while he was away. I watched the ten minute quick summary about a million times during the deployment. Seeing his face see me for the first time as I walked down the aisle was what I needed when I couldn't talk to him for a week or two at a time. Jerry was better and less expensive than most other videographers I saw. If you're wavering on a videographer, go with Jerry! He's awesome. I had a great experience with Jerry and his colleague Chris when they filmed my wedding back in October. When I first contacted Jerry, he was very helpful, answered all my questions and responded to me quickly. It turned out that he himself was already booked for our day, but he would have his colleague Chris do the filming for our wedding. We were able to have a meeting with both Jerry and Chris to answer any questions we had beforehand, which was great. The day of, Chris did a wonderful job. I didn't speak to him much, but my husband (who had to wear a microphone) was very impressed. He did a great job! Jerry then did the editing of our video and it turned out beautifully! Overall, everything was easy and ran smoothly.... which is all you can ask for in the midst of your wedding! My daughter's wedding was September 7th at the Birch Aquarium in San Diego. I spent days online and on the phone looking for the right videographer. I was lucky enough to find Cloudbreak Films and Jerry. We received the video a few weeks ago and had a dinner party with my daughter and son-in-law to watch. I can't even begin to explain how we all felt. The video is wonderful. The quality supreme. We could NOT be happier. I can't believe I considered not hiring a videographer to save cost. Now I know a video should always be in the top 4 list. Jerry actually had a previous commitment so his assistant Chris shot the video. He missed nothing and his angles and attention to details were fantastic. However Jerry does all his own editing and what an amazing job he did. My daughter and her then fiancé did not initially want a videographer for their wedding. They were concerned over cost and intrusiveness, but I insisted. After watching the video with my daughter last weekend, I know she's glad I did insist. Jerry from Cloudbreak Films was wonderful. In all honesty, my husband and I were not thrilled about having a videographer at the wedding, but my mom insisted so we went along. My biggest concern about a videographer was our guests' views being blocked, because I had been to weddings in the past where they were in the way. We met with Jerry and he was very professional and assured us that he would stay off to the side and not block the views of our guests. Not only did he come through, but we hardly noticed them! They got great video of the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception. Looking back I am so glad we Jerry was there, because we got to see video of the cocktail hour which we wouldn't have seen otherwise!
