I'm not quite sure how to begin with this review... First of all, my grandmother LOVES him (and she is very hard to please/impress) She still talks about him and we got married November 2015 haha. Second, IM OBSESSED WITH OUT HIGHLIGHT VIDEO!!!! It is seriously amazing and we have received so many compliments on it. People have been very impressed and say they "have never seen a wedding video this beautiful". I was debating on getting a videographer because of price. I was going back and forth for months, and someone told me that if I am debating it that much, I should do it because otherwise I'll regret it. Let me tell you, one of the best decisions I have made for our wedding day! I was being pulled in so many different directions and there were a lot of things that we didn't get to see or experience, but Jim (and his associate) captured it! I hired Jim for my recent wedding. I cannot express how happy I am with his services. I hired a photographer and Jim, some thought it was too much. I am soooo glad I did. Jim was able to capture all the moments I didn't get to see (being the bride). For example, I have had guest say since the wedding "did you see so and so on the dance floor?" Or getting to see my flower girl and ring bearer get down the aisle. And capturing the tears of my husband when I walked down the aisle. My husband and I were not going to hire a videographer, but after being told by other couples that the one thing they wished they had hired was a videographer we knew we had to book one, and not anyone. We hand selected every single one of our vendors to make sure that they would add to our vision. We were so thankful when we found Jim. Not only is he a kind hearted soul, he has an eye for detail like you wouldn't believe (which I'll talk more about in a minute). There are many Videographers in the San Diego are, but Jim stands high above them all. We had interviewed 8 of them before deciding on Jim. Jim is very professional, very creative, and was working with the latest equipment at the time. We really wanted an amazing video that would capture our entire day and Jim exceeded our expectations by a mile. He and his assistant came in early and stayed very late to capture every single detail of that day. Both shooters blended into the background, but seemed to capture so many different angles. They are veterans, know what they are doing, know the best things to shoot and capture, and then summarized it in an amazing edited video that blew us away. My only criticism is that our final video took a few months longer than we thought, but of course we were anxious. When we did get it, we were thankful that he put so much of his time and energy into it. We were happy that he didn't rush and that he took the time to give us the edited video we hoped we would get.
