My husband adores their Meat lovers pizza and omggggggg. The crust alone is like crushed velvet in your mouth. The sensation is amazing and I know it sounds very odd but.... Lol it is like they Literally PUT ALL Of Their Love and Passion into your Food! Personally, my mom and I are Cheesesteak fans and there's Doesn't Disappoint, at All. La Sicilia is one of those special places and I arrived to eat dinner because they were helping someone I know. There was no research involved and I was surprised to discover how close I live to this primarily takeout pizzeria/restaurant with a smiling and welcoming staff. I really did not know how small the dining area is at La Sicilia but there was room for myself and my friend Joe to enjoy a dinner to help others. Joe went the Chicken Parm dinner route but I went for pizza and "wings" (Chicken wings for those not in the know.). I did ask the staff whether their wings were any good and I was assured that people like them. We watched pleasant interactions with customers coming in for takeout, including a few people I know who chose to come to La Sicilia. First the good ... Joe reported that he REALLY liked the chicken Parm. He liked it so much that he ordered a take out Chicken Parm to bring home for his wife. I spoke with some friends who like me only came to support the fundraiser. One told me, "I told the men in my family we are changing pizzerias because the pizza at La Sicilia's is soooo good!" Another thdnkef me (As if I had anything to do with creating the food.) for telling them about the event because they plan to start coming to La Sicilia's for their pizza. I ordered "The Don" specialty pizza probably because of the website photo but also it sounded really good. It was "fine" and I enjoyed it. I am picky about pizza but next time (And, there will be a next time.) I will try a different pizza. Now as for the WINGS. First they asked "Ranch or Blue Cheese" never ever Ranch!! A big plus when they arrived was noting that the wings were not breaded. They were crisp and juicy but the fried wings were not coated with sauce in the kitchen instead they were plopped in a puddle of Frank's sauce on my plate. I ate every last wing but ... A big thank you for caring about people in need and due to that there are new regulars at La Sicilia's!!

When we visit family in Williamsburg, we rarely dine at chain restaurants. Why waste a food…read moreexperience by not trying local pizza, hoagies, clams, and Italian in general! I looked this place up on my phone. A small storefront. So, does every pizza joint back East have a regular who's there all the time not eating but just chatting away with the help? Certainly an enjoyable part of the experience! You're almost disapointed when it's just the help! I felt like I was back in the 40's. The guy looked like a Picasso version of Dick Tracy with a boxer's nose, wearing a cheap sport coat and, a repertoire of bad jokes. Anyway, superb cheese pizza! We didn't try anything but cheese. I keep it simple so as not to take away from the dough, cheese and sauce. The sauce had a nice, rich tomatoey (yes, that is a word) flavor with a slight hint of wine and the perfect amount of sweetness. The crust was crunchy enough without feeling overcooked. The inside of the dough was soft and light. A beautiful combination. Great flavor and texture. Not sure who's cheese they use but it definitely has that back East flavor you don't find in Las Vegas (except Brooklyn's Best)! I think that's what impressed me most. How do you describe that back East cheese flavor? You don't! You order a pie! The owner was really nice. We yacked about Las Vegas (His favorite place to visit) while Tracy argued there's no place like Atlantic City. Hasn't been out much I gather. Even though we visited different places, this place was worth another visit!
