Your guide took us around town and gave us history and fun facts about Jerome. Destinations were very interesting and must see.

We took the Pandora's Box tour in early Oct. Our guide couldn't have been kinder, but his walking pace seemed like he was trying to lose us! A lady on the tour flew out of her sandals trying to keep up. At the tour office, no restroom facilities are available. We were warned that we could use any facilities along the tour, but we would miss parts of the tour to do so. The front desk lady informed us that if we dropped our ghost communicators, we would pay 300. We had to sign that we would pay if we damaged them. We almost didn't use it. We stood in a dirt parking lot, a semi demolished room, a semi demolished auditorium and walked in a dark graveyard. That part was fun, but it was dark and our lights didn't help us see the trail. There were clear hazards in these places, challenging terrain and the pace made it more dangerous. The few voices we did hear on the radio could have easily been bleed over from other stations or even communication from other units. It was very garbled and there was a lot of static. We went in as open minded, excited believers and came away as huge skeptics. Not good for children, folks with disabilities or elderly. My husband and I went on the Wild Wild West Tour with Franco as our guide. This was not our first time to Jerome, but let me say WE LEARNED SO MUCH! I will say I was full of questions and Franco had tons of knowledge to share. We had so much fun walking around Jerome and honestly seeing places that we had never noticed or walked right by in the past. Franco went above and beyond to show us around the town and point out items that peaked our interest. 10/10 would recommend to those new to Jerome or if you are a repeat visitor. read more

Walking ghost tour turned out to be just them taking us to a parking lot and having us talk at radios... then led us to the church door steps and read bricks that were supposedly the names of those who were buried behind the church but many of these bricks are purchased by out of towners or have prayers on them. A few of them may have been, but doubtful. Walked further down the street to an apartment that is falling apart with a story of a homicide that took place as the woman was in the bath.. Ruth and mike... while the story is fascinating the apartment they had a key for has not been touch and had numerous toilets in there and original claw foot tub she was bathing in? I'm just not sure. Just felt unsafe and has the ceiling caving in. Continuing on the trail we took four flights of stairs down to the smelt where our tour guide spoke about the bodies that may have been cremated and may or may not be in the very stone that built the city. Save your money the tour ends here. I recommend something that actually allows you to explore facilities not just walk around in broad daylight talking out loud waiting for a voice on the other side. read more

Melvina was awesome. Request her for sure. A ghost tour is all about having the right guide. I've had some guides on ghost tours who just ruin it by being too much, this was not the case. She was cool, knew her stuff, and didn't force it. I took a ton of video, and during the tour I didn't think we had that much activity, but when you listen to your videos after, you can hear all the extra activity in the background that you didn't notice in real time. We were booked for Pandora's Box Ghost Adventure. One member of our party broke her foot. She called Wednesday March 22nd at 6:06pm to discuss how much walking would be involved. Gentleman said some walking then into a van to the high school and auditorium. When we arrived Saturday night for our tour we were informed that it would be 80% walking. If we had known that-been told that - on Wednesday we would have had time to cancel and receive a refund. The most disappointing portion of this was the rude and defensive behavior of female employee at the desk. When I said my daughter had called she immediately said "she didn't talk to me, I don't give the tours" but more than the words was the attitude. read more

Very disappointed with this place. We went on Halloween night. They started off the tour with a weird lecture/interrogation about all of the guests past tours and made you answer if you were ever offered equipment at other tours. Like trying to prove something before we left? Odd. The tour itself was terrible. You go to three locations and just stand there trying to talk to ghosts through their "equipment". Totally lame. We have been on many ghost tours and we're very unimpressed. Our tour guide was a young guy and he was great and new all of the history about Jerome. We probably should have just booked the history tour instead. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to our tour guide Courtney who was beyond education throughout the pandoras ghost tour. Every place we went you could tell her passion and love for what she does and the spirits around her. I was fascinated, a little spooked, and learned so much about the history. If you go in a non-believer you won't be once the tour is over. Courtney has an amazing relationship with the spirits which allows for a more open and safe space for them if you yourself are open and respectful. read more

The Jerome Ghost Tour was incredible! I did the extended tour, "Pandora's Box." It was so worth it!! Not only did I learn about the history of Jerome, but the equipment used picked up multiple spirits that had plenty to say as we proceeded through the 2 hour tour. There were times when the guide was giving us information about a particular area and a spirit would chime in at exactly the right time to verify the story, "That's right!" and, "True!" At the cemetery, we learned about, "Harry," who not only greeted us, but said goodbye when we passed back bye as we were leaving. I said, "Goodbye, Harry!" and he said, "Goodbye!" and when I said, "Thank you for talking with us," he said, "You're welcome!" Those are just a few examples but there was so much more on this tour. I also loved how respectful the company is to their process, working with the historical society of Jerome to ensure all details they share are accurate and verifiable. I never felt spooked- it was all positive and really a neat experience. I'll definitely do it again with my friends and family. read more

We took the extended Pandor's Box tour and really enjoyed it. Austin, our guide is VERY knowledgeable and shared great stories and information. We "talked" to a couple spirits through the provided equipment and really enjoyed the cemetery portion of the tour. NOT for anyone who can't handle uneven pavement, stairs or rocky paths in the dark. Overall, we had a good time and left with the desire to read up on more of the history of Jerome and it's very interesting residents. read more

We had a big group of 14 of us and all enjoyed. Aaron was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and very informative of the towns history. We received the transmitter equipment and detectors. Ghost tour was in areas of the town and at the high school. The highschool is where most of the activity was that we experienced. There was a picture taken the minute we got out of the tour van at the highschool, it is posted and you decide what you see. If you are into this kind of activity it is a must do experience. read more

Pandora's Box ghost tour was the highlight of our weekend and a must-do for anyone visiting in my opinion. The gadgets made learning the history super fun, and our tour guide was fantastic (I think he said his name was Aaron haha but dont quote me). In addition the customer service is 10/10. I was battling a migraine and had to send my boyfriend all the way to Cottonwood for medicine causing us to miss our scheduled tour for 11. We gave jerome ghost tours a call and they were able to kindly rebook us for the evening. We were so grateful! Great activity, highly reccomend! read more

We were so excited to experience Pandora's Box with Courtney as our tour guide! We weren't sure what to expect but it was well worth the price as you receive the EMF reader, spirit box, flashlight and our guide brought additional resources to better communicate. Not only did we learn about the detailed history of Jerome, we learned about why it was named the Wickedest City in the west. Pandora's Box allows you to hop in a Jerome ghost tours van and drive to multiple locations, form the old high school, Jerome Grand, Surgeons house and multiple locations where hospitals once stood. We also walked to a church, and two units where gruesome murders happened. Courtney was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, welcoming and ensure that everyone was safe, comfortable and helped us understand the spirits needs and conversation that came through on our spirit boxes. We had an extremely active night to say the least!!! We also wanted to recognize her son, Aiden, who was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable!! I really hate to do this but......I honestly wish I had read the reviews before I went. I have been on ghost tours in Savannah, New Orleans (multiple), and St Augustine. I totally agree with the other review! We literally stood in the building and were asked if we "ever got equipment". They made it seem like this was going to be incredible. No guarantees but nonetheless, I was bought in for a different experience. What I did not expect was to literally walk like a block and then stand around in a parking lot for a really long time trying to contact spirits. Then we moved back 100 ft to a Catholic Church that we passed and spent time there basically doing nothing, but talking into some piece of equipment. At this point they were talking us inside a building with flashlights and I thought "well this is going to get better". It didn't. No real story telling either. I would really have loved to learn more about the history of the town more, more ghost stories and less standing around. TOTALLY shocked that we did not go near the Grand Hotel. Then down to a smelt with a little story about how many miners were cremated in at and how the sidewalks are made with their ashes? I literally felt stupid for paying this much money to really go nowhere. read more

This was a first time experience for us and it was absolutely amazing! We have always had a love for the paranormal as well the history that is linked to it. Courtney was our tour guide and she brought the historic town back to life with her knowledge of the town. The manner in which she articulated the towns history really made you feel as if you were there in the time. She not only gave a vast historical context to the tour but taught us a lot on the equipment we used as well as engaged with us in this journey. This experience was the highlight of my birthday weekend. I did the Pandora's Box Tour and it was everything and more than what I could ask for! It was so cool to get to use the P-SB11 Spirit box as we were guided through the town. We had several spirits come through and actually speak and answer some questions! I had initially booked two tours; however, due to a host of circumstances, the owner of the company, Aeron was so gracious and hospitable and I ended up taking one of his ghost walk tours where he incorporated some of the town's history into the tour as well which I was more interested in than the ghost portion (although, that was interesting as well). He was also gracious enough to take some extra time with me as well after the tour. It was a very pleasurable and wonderful experience and one I would strongly recommend to anyone as a valuable accompaniment to their visit in this wonderfully charming and historic mining town. read more

This is the ghost tour that is located on the second story. We were unaware prior to booking that there is another ghost tour company right below. Im glad we unknowingly booked this one. First Aaron was awesome! He is so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and provides a great service/product. He explained the history of the town as well as past experiences he has had. You can really tell he enjoys his job and likes to share it with people. A super plus, he has the cutest dog that accompanied us! We had a terrible experience. The tour guide spent more time tending to his dog then giving us a properly guided tour. One of our family members got very ill and needed to leave. She waited until the tour was officially over, handed her gear to another party member who was in our group and ran back to the hotel to get some medicine. Unfortunately that party did not return her gear to the company for her and the company made us pay for it. Be aware that you may be stuck in a group with people who are loud, obnoxious, and they may steal your equipment. I have done many ghost tours throughout the United States and Canada and this was the absolute worst. I would never recommend it. read more

Our guide was a red head and just seemed to give off a lot of false information about the town and even seemed to just make up info as she went along. We are returning guests from years back and accidentally booked with this company thinking it was Ghost Town Tours. If you come to Jerome and want to have the best experience, book with Ghost Town Tours and request Cody as your guide. Cody is a famous Treasure Hunter and the best tour guide we have ever had. read more
