Food- the rice and cabbage were good. The curry chicken was unseasoned & cold. The collard greens were absolutely disgusting pls BIG waste of $ in my opinion. Service- the Jamaican lady with the lazy eye in the front was RUDE. The whole staff forgot about my order and I waited well over 25 mins for one small curry chicken. The white lady at the register was super sweet tho! (Don't know any names) Ambience- restaurant was clean but SUPER HOT. Was literally sweating by the time I left. Delicious food and wonderfully welcoming staff. This was our first visit and will definitely come back again. Found a great Jamaican restaurant today. Mike had Stewed chicken, red beans and rice, and braised cabbage. Me? Curry chicken with same sides but washed down with cream soda instead of water. As it was our first of many future visits we shared our delicious meals. Oh, server recommended Scotch Bonnet hot sauce over the other 2 sauces on offer. We agree. I wish I lived closer so that I could order my monthly craving of Jamaican food from here every time. This was a book club restaurant that we chose and I am so glad we did. My mom and I ordered jerk chicken and oxtail meals and 5 spicy beef patty's for our book club members. There are 6 of us including my daughter who can eat. The large portions fed us all with left overs and the food was so rich in flavors (like their namesake implies). They definitely delivered the flava. In Florida for Memorial Day weekend and celebrating my friends birthday, his brother evidently tried this place last year and really liked it. Decided to swing by with them and was not disappointed. Ox tails were really good and you got a lot, which made up for the fact that they really did not have a lot of meat on them. I appreciate who I believe was the owners son for hooking me up with the order of plantains that I ordered, but wasn't charged for, but also wasn't initially given. There is a little disorganization in the kitchen and you will probably experience a little bit of the wait, but honestly it is worth it. The meat patties are really the star of this place, and probably one of the reasons why they go so quickly. I took my gf a second time, the lady gave her bottom of the pan brown stew chicken that was more bones then it was meat. She also called in the order beforehand and told her that we were about 10 minutes away, but when we got there, mind you, it wasn't busy, the food wasn't made and we had to give her the order again which kinda defeated the purpose of calling in the first place. I also have to give a shout out to the homemade pineapple ginger and the ginger lemonade. They just hit. Really affordable; For a large ox tail plate ($20), a spicy beef pattie ($2.75), and the drink with a little tip everything came out to about $30. read more

I found this place while I was in town for work. It was a nice & clean atmosphere. I visited during lunch hours 11:30-12pm and there weren't any customers just staff. One staff member was eating and the others were in the back. The setup was kind of like a buffet style where you go to the counter and place your order. I ordered the lunch special: oxtail, rice & peas, & cabbage. I asked for gravy to be placed on my rice however it was a watery, oily gravy which ended up making my rice taste bad. I was expecting it to be a thick gravy but it wasn't. The cabbage was finely cut but wasn't very good. The oxtails were ok but I've had better. read more

All of this was less than 40$ and we have enough leftovers to eat all night and tomorrow lol. They even make and brew their own drinks and the pineapple ginger is my favorite !! We visited Orlando last year in October and found this place because we were hungry, and just getting in from a long day. So glad we stumbled on this place!!! It was so good here I am leaving a review a whole year and some later! First let me just say that I like when restaurants look like a hole in the wall cause then you're like man this is gonna be good and Jerk Flavas did not disappoint at all! We're from California so we don't have many places that do Jamaican cuisine. Y'all let me tell you so good! Terrible on a 5 star level. Customer service is non existent. Worse was the fact that the kitchen was closed 2 hours before advertised closing. Had an awesome takeout meal from Jerk Flavas. I ordered online using Uber Eats. The two meals I ordered were the Jerk Chicken and BBQ Rib plate. The Jerk Chicken was some of the best I have had. The side of rice and pidgin peas were deliciously seasoned and delicious. While I am partial to St Louis BBQ (thats what I grew up eating, the ribs were meaty and tender. Service from the staff was friendly. Portion side is generous. As of this writing, services only carry out as well as outside dining.
