    100% ass. Don't do it, just crockpot meat and shitty sauce. This should notbe called barbecue.

    I got some ribs at Center Street daze, really really good I recommend it.

The guy working the counter was doing a great job and gave me a rib tip sample that was delicious. I ordered the rib dinner that comes with two sides for $20, unfortunately they were out of greens so Mac and beans would be my sides. I always say if you smell smoke/grill in the air outside it's most like going to be good and I smelled the grill as I walked up, not a wood smoke smell. My rib dinner looked good that was only 5 bones with a nice bark. The ribs were moist/tender fall odd the bone with a backyard grill flavor, not a wood smoke flavor. The rids were delicious and tasty with the seasoned rub. The beans were good but very sweet. The Mac and cheese was over cooked to mush, not Al dente and slightly creamy with a small cheese flavor topped with cheese. The Mac and cheese could have been seasoned better like the ribs but still good. Overall I had a great lunch and I like the grill flavor because most places use wood smoke so I like this style to break up bbq from time to time. I would definitely stop back for more of the menu.

They haven't been open long, so be patient as they work to get into a groove. I've had their brisket, pulled pork, rib tips, baby back ribs, chicken, and sausage and all have been delicious! I still want to try their smoked turkey and turkey leg, but their meats have been among the best BBQ I've had! The chicken, in particular far exceeded my expectations! Their sides are solid. I noticed an improvement in texture with the baked beans feom the first visit to most recent visit, but I liked the mac-n-cheese better on the first visit. It was creamier and better seasoned the first time. Their creamy Cole slaw and greens were other sides I enjoyed. The fries and potato salad were good, but didn't stand out to me. They did not have cornbread on the menu. You can order sandwiches, dinners, or 2 and 3-meat combos. Important things to note: 1. They have a dining room. 2. They will put sauce on most, if not all, of their smoked meats, so if you want no sauce or sauce on the side, then tell them when you order. I am a smoked BBQ purist. I want to taste the rub and their smoking method. Their sauce is good, but their meats are great and don't need sauce. 3. They don't have a website, and it's not easy to find their menu on their Facebook page. 4. They are open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. 5. They accept cash and cards. Definitely check this place out because their BBQ is really good! I will be back!

I read…read moregood things about the brisket here and found it inside Redbar and was able to grab a seat at the bar. I ordered a beer and decided on Brisket and added a Sausage for 6 bucks. I started cutting into the brisket and was immediately turned off. This was like cutting into a piece of beef jerky. It was try and tough and I shouldn't have even put it in my mouth, but I reluctantly did! Oh wait, this isn't that forum in that adult magazine.... But Yuck Yuck Yuck to that dry meat. Luckily, there was a LOT of brisket so I fished around and cut a piece from the other end and wow... BUTTER! This was some of the juiciest brisket I've had. The fat rendered nicely and it was still meaty. SOOOO good. Yes, this good part was connected to the bad part. The $6 add on for the sausage was pretty good as well, as was the side of Mac n Cheese. With the add on, it's probably a shareable plate for most people, including me these days. Parking is limited as it's kind of in a neighborhood, and the Redbar itself has a locals, dive-bar vibe, which isn't a bad thing. Just something you should know! Cheap beers though!

We decided to share the French Onion Dip as an app. Chips were delicious, while the dip had a good, familiar taste. I ordered the smoked sausage platter for my meal. The sausage was spicy & had a wonderful snap. The Mac & cheese flavor was good but had a bit of a gritty consistency. The house pickles were a great palate cleanser. Great spot to enjoy a drink & eat! Will be back to try other offerings.

Well I'm definitely doing the rib tips but it was too early because they just went on the grill, see my pictures so I would have to stop back later in the day. 3 hours went by so I went back and asked if he still had some rib tips left and he said yes so I'm down with that. He is there Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 to 4pm he says. The rib tips looked amazing on the grill and I took a picture so you could see the before and after pictures of the cooked rib rips. I ordered the meat only for $10 because the sides didn't interest at all and did my car smell so good so I pulled over because I couldn't wait to try them. The rib tips had a nice looking bark that was seasoned nicely and tasty I thought. The rib meat had that little chew that I like because I don't like the mush fall off the bone meat. The rib tips were meaty and not all cartilage with most of the meat chopped off like some places. The meat was very tasty with that bark and a deep grilled flavor that I really liked, like a backyard bbq. I really like that he uses charcoal to cook his food because it's so hard to find places that cook with charcoal anymore and he seems like a like a really nice guy and he let me take my pictures which helps his business. I didn't even use the bbq sauce because the meat stands on its own by the way. There is no bbq in the immediate area that I can think of so this is a nice addition to the neighborhood if your looking for some tasty rib tips here you go. I would definitely go back for some rib tips again because as much as I like ribs I do like doing tips from time to time.
