I found this truck along the road months ago and the line of people strongly suggested it was a go to truck.
So I ordered a couple Jerk Egg Rolls and was not disappointed.
I live in Madison. This is norther MKE, so the following day, I was somewhere in the MKE region, so I spent easily 30 minutes or more trying to find the same location. It wasn't actually that it was hard to find again, it was that I wasn't nearly as close as I had thought.
Upon seeing the big billboard sign at the parking lot I knew I was going to be getting a lot more than before.
But I was sadly disappointed. The truck wasn't there. Nor were all those people.
Today I'm again in the area and got lucky that it was here. Oxtail was the best option. Followed by jerk chicken.
Grabbed 3 jerk egg rolls as a back up for later or perhaps lunch
The previous words began last Friday I think.
Today, Tuesday I'm back for my next amazing meal.
Today it's jerk tacos and more of the incredibly awesome jerk egg rolls.
This truck the exact reason don't judge a book by its raggedy cover. It's not beautiful but it's the love inside that counts.
A sort of regular taco truck I've visited a n Madison is my reason for including this statement. Flashy wrap on the truck but upon further reflection, it's not all that.
Certainly a far better option than many places, the one that rhymes with 'something smell' that barely counts as Mexican food.
