This venue is really a sight to behold. We attending my friends wedding party here and they really pulled out all the stops. There are several rooms and there were a few other wedding parties occurring at the same time as the place is pretty spacious. The appetizers were off the charts. They had a huge selection including seafood, pasta, sushi, fruits, meat and cheese platters, and so much more. They also have a wide variety of wine's and liquors. You name it, they probably had it. The decor was very appealing and the seating areas were comfortable. Just when I thought this place was impressive we got moved to the next room which was just mind blowing with a domed ceiling, awesome lighting, all the tables were set up really elegantly. The dinner portion of the event was not nearly as great as the appetizers. The first course was an odd combination of food and it wasn't very well seasoned. I went with the shrimp and my husband went with the salmon. I doused the shrimp with lemon and salt to make it a bit more flavorful and I ate it anyway as to not be rude. I am sure the bride and groom paid a pretty penny for this event so I did not want to seem ungracious for the invite or may be I just made a poor choice for my entree. Hopefully some of their other entree's are a bit tastier. My husband said the salmon was decent but nothing to rave about. This was one time where I wasn't too angry with myself about filling up on appetizers. The waitstaff went a little overboard with clearing up plates and glasses. They took my husbands drink which was full twice and he was a bit upset as he had to go downstairs to get it as they did not have that type of liquor in the dining area. Overall I had a great time here and even though dinner wasn't fantastic I still think it's a decent venue for a big event. One tip for you. If you can park on the street... do it. You will be waiting a long time for the valet to bring your car around especially on a night where they have more than one event going. Standing outside waiting for your car especially in the rain will not be fun and if you are in a rush to get somewhere it may even affect your schedule. A friend of mine said she waited nearly 30 minutes for her car at the end of the night when everyone was leaving. I was here this past Sunday for a wedding a must say they were okay at most. The service was decent and our waiter really tired his best to accommodate our table. The place seemed really nice in each room seems like they can accommodate many parties at the same time. The place in general needs a good updating. The lobby area had old carpets and décor was so cheesy. We missed cocktail hour because it took forever to get here but had their dinner, it was okay at most. My April wedding at Jericho was absolutely amazing. Everything i could ever dream of. All the staff were nice and helpful. I had 2 bridal( cant remember their names) but sooo nice. Manager was T and he was AWESOME.. everything i needed or asked for was already done. They took every phone call or email up to the day of with no attitude. From the moment we went into Jericho we were welcomed we ate food and wine and were never rushed. We dealt with Michael for the first year and he was great as well. He would answer my emails from home on his days off. This has been a 2 year process and loved it all. The renovations are unbelievable and were perfect just for my day .. Got married here a few months ago, only good thing i can say is the food, staff really rude esp torri ann on the phone she is like their robot rushed everything is a sales pitch and rushed. you pretty feel like cattle being rushed through your event. i ran out of cash at the end of the nite and some manager ran up to me as i was carrying loads of boxes to my car after the event and asked if everything was ok because i only gave the matri di $150 and he expected closer to $400. all the matra di did all nite was get drinks and rush us from one room to another. Well finally! here is the review for my daughters Sweet Sixteen long overdue and i apologize... Well a couple of weeks before the big day i was introduced to Ryan who was going to work our party. At first i didnt get a warm fuzzy feeling from Ryan but as time went by he started to convince me that he was the right guy for our party. So the day arrived and i have to say that (Ryan,Mike) did an amazing job!! the guest that arrived early they were escorted to a very nice private room where they indulged in cocktails and horsd'oeuvres. Nice Touch! Once the room was ready for our guests they were escorted to the event. I was at the door greeting our guest and so was the staff with in white gloves passing out champaign and a virgin drink for teens.. and every guest that came in complemented how beautiful it was. all i heard was how beautiful everything looked(wifey has good taste),JT put out an awesome display for the cocktail that even i was amazed. we had opted for the buffet and man let me tell you i could not believe the set up was great easy access and well executed. all went well without a hitch! I had both my wedding ceremony and wedding reception at Jericho Terrace and the day was absolute perfection. From the moment we booked there, until the very last song of the wedding, these people were just above and beyond the entire time to ensure that my husband and I, and our families were being taken care of. Michael Closs was the main person that we dealt with during the months leading up to the wedding. He was patient with me and my mother, who always came with a list of questions, and always had an answer for everything. The response time of any email that I ever sent him was beyond professional, and I never felt like I was alone while planning my wedding. Any time I was unsure about something logistical like, "what time do we cut the cake?" Michael was quickly giving an answer, so that I could communicate it to my photographer or any other vendors. I can't sing his praises enough. On the day of, Carrie was our Maitre D. Truly, she was a godsend. I feel horrible that I don't remember the names of my Bridal attendants, but they were wonderful. My officiant forgot to print a reading out that one of my bridesmaids were reading, and before a meltdown ensued, the bridal attendant calmly said, "I can just go print it out. No big deal." And the problem was solved in 3 minutes. Every single person that worked for the Jericho Terrace made my day better and brighter. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, and how beautiful the new cocktail hour space is. Additionally, the big white chairs in the dome room that my husband and I sat in were really pretty spectacular for pictures. I know sometimes people say it's like a "wedding factory" because there are sometimes more than one wedding happening at a time, but I will tell you that this did not take away from my day at all. In fact, there were 2 other weddings the same night as ours, and I felt like our party was the only one happening. I didn't feel like I got any less attention from staff. I didn't feel like the ball was dropped in any way. If I didn't see the other bride at one point, I never would have known it was going on. Do not let this be the reason that you don't book Jericho Terrace. You'll miss out on such a gorgeous venue with the greatest people for a silly reason. Overall, I'd give the Jericho Terrace an A+++++++++++ for a wedding venue grade. I would not have changed not one single thing about it. As an FYI - this review is based from a wedding photographer's perspective. To start, the place is nice. They have valet parking and a fountain out at front to take pictures at. There's also a piano in the main entrance which is a nice touch. They have dedicated rooms for the bridal party and they do cater food to the rooms to make sure that they wedding party is refreshed. The main ceremony hall is pretty standard, they have chairs, with a high ceiling over the center aisle. The decorations will need to be provided by the wedding party though as it's pretty bare in itself (no floral arrangements, etc). The wait staff however is hit or miss. The staff that follow the wedding party is very courteous and helpful, however the staff that sets up the table and everything is really ehhh. I will remember one guy who was just so rude. We're both doing our jobs here but he was just a prick about it trying to get us out of the way. There was even an incident where we lost our batteries because it was plugged into the wall when we grabbed our stuff because when we were getting kicked out, we had forgotten it. When we returned to get it, it was gone. Overall, the professionalism of the staff has a lot of room for improvement. read more

Went to a beautiful on Saturday. The sun shone through glass ceiling during the Ceremony while brightening the dance floor through it's dome. For its lavish settings, the food was wildly subpar. The venue is a 5 and it's food and service - at best a 2. The wait staff looked miserable and barely smiled. The bite of the steak I had - was sour and it's pasta was flavorless and poorly presented. Jericho Terrace, a very oddly placed catering hall in the middle of a busy commercial area. Cars will be whizzing by, cars will be honking, and then you will notice this 6 ft high pink-beige stone wall and large building running the length of the block. Pull into the facility, and there were be two lines for valet parking just to your right. They are pretty quick as their parking lot is just left of the drop-off point, requiring only a 1 minute wait per car. This place was beautifully redone, from top to bottom, with marble floors, to beautiful foliage/gardens on their walls, to skylit atriums in their cocktail room and ballroom. It is elegant and well-crafted. One major disappointment is that this place is notorioius to be known as a wedding factory or multi-event catering hall. I attended an afternoon wedding, and there were one or two other events happening in the other rooms. A note to future brides considering this catering hall: As we were leaving, another wedding party was already there, as well as the bride and groom. No bride wants to see another bride as this is her special day. The garden cocktail room is a huge impressive over the terrace cocktail room is majestic, with beautiful wood-trimmed walls. Near the back you will feel as if you are walking into an courtyard, with gardening on the walls, and a large skylight covered with a wooden fence-like structure and vines to give the impression you are outdoors. Just beyond that at the far end, is a full-bar. Kiosks are well-stationed throughout the perimeter of the room to spread out the crowds. You will never feel crowded or stuffed, while this room easily fitting 300 guests. The food served during cocktail hour was decent in variety, though some dishes were hit or miss. For some of the more popular dishes, you sometimes had to wait 3-5 minutes for them to bring out more, which was a slight inconvenience. The main reception was held in the Dome Dining Room on the top floor. In the middle is a large marble dance-floor, about 30' in circular diameter. Around the dance floor are the white-clothed tables and chairs, which could also accomodate probably about 300 guests. The bars seemed a bit odd as they were just mini-bars on wheels that could be rolled around the room. The food served during the reception was a bit of an overstatement. I ordered the Prime Rib which was cooked a little more like a medium-well to my preferred medium-rare, and also did not carry a lot of flavor. Service was great as waiters would always be available for any requests or glass refills. In all, the food was decent to average, the ambiance and decor was just beautifully done, but it was a bit of a disappointment to have other weddings/parties being held on just the floor below you. read more

From the moment my fiance and I walked into JT we felt a welcoming vibe. We worked with Anthony (BM) for over a year. He was friendly, funny, and made you feel like family (something we did not get while venue searching). Ceremony took place in the newly renovated and gorgeous Skylight Room. Cocktail hour took place in the Terrace Room. Reception took place in the Oak Room. We also worked with Jose our Maître d and had two bridal attendants during our wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding and/or special event. We had such an awesome experience, and such a flawless wedding. No drama, no hiccups, straight to the point contract (although be sure to include the 20% catering fee at the end of your sub-total of guest amount -- it's in the contract). Our wedding was the only event that evening so they were nice enough to extend a second bridal suite to invite my groom and his groomsmen to hang out before the wedding began. The guests were wow'd by our wedding and enjoyed the food, drinks, and friendly service. We wish we can do it again and are so grateful for the staff at Jericho Terrace for their professionalism and kindness! This is definitely a weird place to have a wedding. Came here this past Saturday for a wedding, and pretty much the whole time, I was confused! For one, when we arrived, there was also another wedding going on. I guess this catering place makes sure it stays busy and generates revenues! The wedding cremony was nice, short and sweet. Right after the ceremony, we were ushered to another room for cocktails. There was a lot of food there, everything you could imagine, but really nothing was excellent! Everything was just sub par! About a hour passed, and then were ushered into a banquet room. We were about to eat a meal at 2:30? In any case, the MC was very tacky and he was always shouting at the top of his lungs even though he had a microphone the whole time! The music was also pretty bad. And for some reason, the MC kept playing games with audience. I think though most people liked it, but I opted out. The food really was so-so. I had the roast duck, and I only ate 2 bites... Jericho Terrace is a beautiful place for a wedding and the staff here are top notch at what they do. However, the food was quite simply bland, dry, tasteless, dull. My friend's ceremony started at 12PM and the reception lasted 'til 5:30. I had read that this place is a wedding factory and I can totally see it since there was another wedding going on at the same time as ours, plus they were already setting up place cards for 2 other weddings that I am guessing will take place later on... it just didn't feel right to have so many events going on in one place! I am assuming that they have different cocktail hour selections, so the one my friend got was not the same as a few of the ones described below. The selections were slim, maybe 20 small things to select from, with a variety on some of the things (such as, 3 different kinds of skewers). There was a huge roast pig along with a huge roast turkey, which was great for the eyes but ehhh for the tastebuds. There was nothing memorable about cocktail hour at all. For dinner, there was a seafood salad, a pasta course, main course of which there were like 8-10 things to pick from and then dessert with wedding cake. You could choose from things like salmon, shrimp, filet mignon, duck, etc. I chose the duck, my husband chose the shrimp and a friend next to us chose the salmon. Out of these 3 only the shrimp was good but beware, it only comes with about 5 medium-sized shrimps so definitely not filling. For dessert, there was an ice cream cannoli that came with the cake, which I thought was a nice touch and pretty presentation. The room my friend had was gorgeous, with a large circular skylight which I'm assuming is only good for daytime weddings. There were also 3 windows (so I think the room she had was the corner room) letting in natural light. All around the room there are flashing lights that I'm sure you can coordinate to your color scheme if you wished. The staff was super friendly, particularly the waiter that served our table. He came straight out and told us that people have told him that he looked like Obama and that we could call him that if we wanted to. He ended up being the star of the area since a lot of people came and wanted to take pics with him! Nice, funny and super tolerant guy especially since we had some wild people sitting at our table! The valet was fast, considering the size and the amount of cars/people that they had at the time. Pretty place in an ehhh neighborhood, but the food is only so-so. I'd give this place SIX stars if I could. We were in the hands of competent professionals throughout every step of the process; from initial tour of the venue to the follow up phone call I received the day after the event. Any time I had a question/concern during 18 months of wedding planning, someone was available to me, whether I stopped in unannounced or just called on the phone. The entire staff here is friendly and accommodating, no exceptions. It began with Vincent, who set up our contract, and continued with Toniann and Gerard, who handled our final appointments. They all made sure we understood the options open to us in order to customize our affair. The complimentary binder they give you to keep and organize all your information is impressive (others we visited gave us a folder if we were lucky, some we weren't even allowed to keep). Every time we visited to make payments, take reference photos, or drop off items, they were as welcoming as the very first time we visited, and offered to show us the reception room again, or whatever had been recently renovated. They made us feel like they were sharing in our excitement; that they were as happy to host our party as we were to throw it. The facilities are absolutely breathtaking. Not only the reception rooms, but also the cocktail hour and ceremony spaces, exotic fish ponds, pianos, fireplaces, and fountains. Even the restrooms and elevators are opulent. No detail is overlooked. I was also in awe of their commitment to the upkeep of the entire hall. Not a single corner of the establishment is allowed to become threadbare, worn, or rusted. I also loved the seasonal decorations which grace the lobby and exterior spaces, which were elegant, not kitschy. The wedding itself was everything we dreamed it could be. From the second we arrived, our every desire were seen to. We were immediately introduced to Edgar, our Maitre'd, and Bridal Attendants Belinda and Katie. These three were instrumental in making our day such a success. There was absolutely nothing they couldn't handle- and despite all our careful preparation, there were still a lot of last minute adjustments happening! Things like my parents, who had previously decided they did not want to be part of the procession, suddenly changing their minds as the ceremony began. Thanks to Edgar's composure, this (and all the other wacky stuff that occurred) was a nonissue. Belinda and Katie made me feel like royalty, holding my drink during photos, and carrying my train or bouquet when we moved from location to location. But mostly I was grateful for their calm presence and gentle guidance. It was wonderful to have these two ladies to keep me informed of what was going to happen next, and to advise me (e.g. "We have 15 minutes before we need to be at ____, would you like to freshen up?"). During the reception, they kept checking up on us, and our champagne glasses were never empty. They looked out for me in a hundred little ways, most of which I have probably already forgotten, but appreciate nonetheless. Steven, the bartender, also stopped by the dais, to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. If I've ever wondered what it would be like to be a princess for a day, I now have my answer. All I needed to do was cast my eyes in their general direction, and a staff member came running. The food was delicious, and the cocktail hour was stunning and elaborate. The ice sculptures and carved melons were amazing. We received so many compliments from guests about the food, and many said it was the best they had ever tasted at a wedding. The cake was even prettier than anticipated, and tasted great too. I was still throwing bizarre requests at Edgar (I needed the third slice of cake preserved for a superstitious family tradition, instead of the top tier), and he kept handling them with aplomb and a smile on his face. At the end of the evening we were never rushed, but allowed to take our time clearing out the bridal suite, and everyone helped us ensure nothing was left behind, before assisting us to our car with the packages. The prices are VERY reasonable considering everything you get. My initial reaction when I first walked into the venue a year and a half ago was "Holy #%*$&, I'll never be able to afford this...". Not so. Take a second to really dive into the quote they give you. Other halls will try to hook you in with a lower cost per plate, but then tack on an exorbitant 20% service charge over the subtotal and taxes. Jericho Terrace doesn't resort to the same tactics used by other places. They also refuse to disparage any other business, which was refreshing. Many other caterers I toured tried to pry into what competitors I'd visited, and then proceeded to talk them down, which was an instant turn off. Jericho Terrace by contrast is a class act all the way. If you book your event here, it will be among the best decisions you'll ever make. read more

The only things memorable were all the stair locations utterly making the elevators pointless, and a staff that provided absolutely no value. First let's start with the stairs... if you have a baby carriage or a wheel chair, you might as well leave that at home because the elevators are awkwardly placed on the other side of the stairs. So in other words, if you need to use the elevators, you first need to either go up or down the stairs to get to the other side of the reception Hall,, thhen take the elevator. But once you get off the elevator, to get anywhere, you need to walk up and down the stairs. My 91 year old grandma who is in a wheel chair couldn't make my cousin's wedding because of the stairs. How did this even pass code? Next the staff... none of staff was accessible for guests when asking legitimate questions like can you direct me to the bathroom, or which room/floor is hosting the XYZ party? Eapecially the main host who is fronting the main entrance. Isn't that the point of having one? Then the valet parking was of no value. They stuck the wrong ticket on my car so they technically couldve just given my car away. This is basic valet parking 101. Stick the correct ticket to the car. But of course they had no idea where my car was. So luckily I found it and of course the car had a different ticket number than the one I had. The food... for the most part the food was decent. But the staff didn't pay attention to taking the order. So the table ordered the steak with some medium rare, some well donr, and some medium. And the steaks came all out as medium. So if you're not going to pay attention, then why bother asking people? The reason they disnt get 1 star was because my ciuain had a good time for her wedding. But if this was my wedding, I wouldve been so pissed. So my recommendation is unless you're getting this place for under $60/person, and knowing that this place is not stroller/wheelchair accessible, don't bother. read more

I just got married at Jericho Terrace last Saturday, and it is hard for me to even describe how perfect this was, in large part because of the venue and the people who work there. They were the architects of this wedding and made it spectacular every step of the way. Chad Cutler was my original contact who helped me set everything up- he checked in periodically, was readily available, and so kind throughout the whole process. He made it really personal even though I'm sure he deals with so many couples. Our maitre d', Chet Cafasso, was outstanding. I never had to worry about a thing. The pacing of the night, the atmosphere, the logistics of the ceremony to cocktails to reception- not a beat was missed! Chet made us feel like we were in good hands from our first meeting with him. He respect my vision, particularly not wanting to see the groom before the wedding, and made everything happen. He worked well with my other vendors and made sure I was taken care of. The bridal attendants, Kerri and Catherine, were my guardian angels. They knew what I needed before I finished my sentence. There was never a point when they were not carrying my train quietly behind me, making sure my groom and I were fed, AND they bustled my incredibly complicated dress- twice. The food was also amazing, and the overall energy and look were superb. I couldn't ask for more. So many people told me and my family it was the best wedding they ever went to, using words like "decadent," and "perfect," and asking if I had a wedding planner, which I did not. Some people even requested that we get divorced and remarried so we can do it all over again. I believe my wedding would have been amazing no matter what, but Jericho Terrace took it to the next level. They know what they're doing, they genuinely care, and they are so good at what they do. My sister had her wedding here 2 weeks ago.. and I have to say it was awesome! The service that was provided was impeccable. The food for the most part was a 8 to 9/10. The interior/exterior and just general ambiance is a 9.5/10 (although you can't blame Jericho Tpke. for being... well noisy Jericho Tpke.) A great place to have a wedding on Long Island for sure. Great photo spots inside and out. And as for the cost.. they don't charge you "an arm and a leg".. only 1 arm. :-p read more

Venue beautiful and food was amazing. My Husband and I recently hosted our wedding at Jericho (10/13) and overall it was absolutely beautiful. There were a few hiccups but no weddings goes without. My only suggestions would be the following: Try to better organize the day better if multiple events are going on, I saw a few guest at my ceremony that didn't belong. The Oak room (our room, very beautiful room) is advertised as being able to host 146 guest but anything past 120 is tight (I had 125 adults 4 infants and 9 kids). We made do and my guest were having too much fun to mind but I would STRONGLY suggest changing the min-max for the Oak room (Should be more like 90 min to 120 max) and Sky Light (should be 120 min to 200 max). Other than that, our day was amazing and will have pictures to remember forever. read more

this is a lovely place to have an event. The rooms are well decorated and elegant looking. The hallways are a little older looking than the rooms but you don't spend a lot of time in the hallway. The menu had sufficient options. There were steak, chicken, fish and vegetarian options. This might not be a standard option or menu. Steak was better than standard catering hall fare but fish was not as good. My biggest issue with Jericho Terrace was the lack of organization. When we arrived we were told to go down the hall for our event. there were no signs posted advising which events are in which rooms. We finally found a wait staff person and asked and they sent us to a holding room. we were told that we would be called when the room was ready. we waited in here with several other folks from other events as well as ours. After about 5 minutes one large group was called and they made an exodus. then about 10 minutes later the next group was called. Five more minutes and we noticed that there were only about a dozen of us left in the room. Finally we got the word that our room was ready. We went to the room only to find that 80% of the party goer's were in the room already seated and eating at the cocktail hour. So obviously something went wrong with communication. My advice, if you have a big event, maybe supplement the facility staff with a few friends to make sure that your guests get to the right place at the right time. read more

I specifically wanted Hendricks gin, he went out of vid way to find the only bottle in the house, then i asked for cucumber, he got that too, then on top of that he muddled it for me. Jericho Terrace was by far not the worst wedding I've been too, but certainly not the best. I was in the wedding party for my cousins wedding, so I got a nice idea of how they treat everyone at these events. First, the venue is beautiful! They have this beautiful koi fish pond between the entrance and rooms! It was decorated beautiful inside and out. Half the staff was very nice and professional (the bridal attendants and staff outside the bridal suite) and the other half (waitstaff) looked like they didn't want to be there and had the attitudes to match. Cocktail hour, which seems to be a universal problem, was very awkward. They did not have enough tables for everyone to sit, I ended up standing by the fireplace. The food at the cocktail was pretty good, wish I had more because the actual meal was awful. Which brings me to the main meal. The antipasti was ok, mozzarella, olives, figs, a bean salad, really nothing special. My appetizer was taken away before I had the chance to eat it. Which really confused me because they left my boyfriends meal, but took mine and we were gone the same amount of time to take pictures. So I picked off his plate, penne alla vodka was over cooked but the sauce was good. Was sitting at the table before they could take my salad away. It was soggy, didn't bother with it. My main meal was Alaskan King Salmon, for starters this was not Alaskan King Salmon, it was Atlantic Salmon. It was not bad, but I think that was because I got the only cooked piece of salmon. Pretty much everyone else had under cooked salmon and didn't eat it. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon medium and it came out medium well. It was also completely flavorless. The creamed spinach was disgusted as well as the dry potato croquette. The wedding cake was ok, I am not sure if this came from Jericho Terrace so I will not review it in depth. Dessert station, ice cream station not the chocolate fountain station, was man'd by (excuse my french) a complete asshole. I have never met such an unhappy and rude person at a wedding in my whole life! Oh and I almost forgot to mention the sweet sixteen and anniversary (or wedding, not really sure) that was happening in the other rooms. Great to know a bunch of scantily clad 16 year olds were in the back of most of the guest pictures (Thanks for the heads up JT). They also did a terrible job of ushering guest to the ceremony area. Everyone saw the bride prior to the ceremony. Tables for the guest in the reception area were messed up. There weren't enough seats at the bridal parties table and apparently the same went for other tables. It's a good thing it was a joyful event and everyone had a nice time! Bottom Line: I know every wedding can't be perfect, but I have been to weddings at other venues were the staff was a lot more attentive. Between the nonmemorable food, lack of awareness and attitude of most of the staff and the other parties going on, I would never recommend JT to anyone. read more

Horrible venue who robbed us of our deposit. My now wife and I planned our wedding there for fall 2020, since the COVID pandemic screwed most of our plans the last thing we thought would go wrong was the venue we had reserved a year in advance. They informed us a few weeks before our wedding date that we can no longer do our wedding on this date since another couple reserved that date and can only accommodate one party at a time. We called the venue every week since June and they never informed us of a process to reserve our date. Would not recommend them to anyone after what we had to deal with. Save your money and time and have your wedding at a place that conducts better business with its consumers. read more

Went to a wedding here and the spread was pretty big for cocktail hour. They had lobster, a fish station, a roast pig station, a mix of different warm and cold dishes and overall the staff was good. However, they lost a few points on the sit down service, which was fine but not spectacular. As usual, the cocktail hour food was better than the sit down service food and it would have been fine just to have 3 hours of cocktail hour and no sit down. There is valet service. If the service were better, it would rate higher. read more

You don't feel like a client, but instead they treat you like family. And not one of those family members you can stand, you're treated like you matter. Chad was my modern day fairy godfather. He went above and beyond, always ready and available to answer my million and one questions. Filled with advice and kind words, which during a stressful period of wedding planning. Chad was a warm welcome. My husband and I adore him. My maitre d Tuhin was more like my knight and shining honor. With Tuhin around nothing is impossible. His timing and organizational skills are on point. There was nothing that got pass him, he even went out of his way to make you feel as special as you could on your big day. Whether it's from making sure your dress didn't trip you. Or giving you that extra hug after crying during your father daughter dance. Tuhin even kicked some ass when we had issues with the crookish decorator that settling up on reception space. You could have never notice anything was at float. I simply love him. My bridal attendants Jackie and Bridget were warm and understanding. Especially with my 10 yard skirt. The poor thing kept them on their nose. But they were kind and helpful every step of the way. We were able to make a bib so my dress wouldn't get any stains during cocktail or dinner. And Jackie was such a sport when it came to helping me change outfits. I felt truly blessed with those two wonderful ladies by my side. Now on to the good stuff. As a food junkie, it was extremely important to me that the food held its own. And the chef at Jericho Terrace is a boss !! We did a menu tasting weeks prior to the event and was able to hand pick what dishes we loved and even tweak its tastes according to our preference. The chef took care in all of the details and the seasoning of all the meals and including everything at the cocktail hour. It was one of the greatest highlights for all of our guest. The fried calamari is amazing. The shrimp and lobster was fresh and worth it. The made from scratch jerk seasoning was finger licking good. Not to mention the fresh mozzarella. Melt in your mouth worth it. read more

Beautiful grounds, but staff is a bit disorganized in being too organized. You'll understand if you read to the end. You'd never expect this type of banquet restaurant to be found in a less than matching neighborhood. You feel like you need to keep checking to see if your wallet is still where it's suppose to be till you reach the actual banquet site. Once on site inside the gates leading to the entrance, everything is fine. The floors are made of some kind of hard stone like pink marble. You have man made waterways, and waterfalls inside everywhere you go with actual real turtles swimming in them. The servers make sure you are directed to the right areas. They have people posted everywhere to guide you in the correct direction. They are all equipped with walky talkies to maintain communication and timing. The all you can eat reception area usually is in lack of seating, so be sure to find a seat early if you are here for the pre-banquet buffet. The buffet is set up to really serve a mass amount of people quickly with buffet stations arrayed in a giant horseshoe spanning three of the four walls of the room. You really can get full hereas they restock the raw bar in good order, and the bartenders are good at what they do. When getting your party moved from the reception buffet area to the actual banquet hall, it all feels like being herded like cattle. The doors open, and we are told to head to the banquet hall all at once. The crowd walks slowly, shoulder to shoulder, bumping against one another and the railings. Some of the older folks in our party got hurt, or overwhelmed. There should have been an announcement to get the elderly and disabled there first. Eventually, with everyone in, there are the minor hiccups, such as requiring extra seats for guests on the list, because other guest's babies taking up the space. Calling in for an extra chair is an ordeal. Took 25 minutes just to find an extra chair and explain that it's not for an extra table setting, but because a baby not on the list is taking up a spot. Informed one server who contacted another server, who contacted a supervisor, who contacted the floor manager, who contacted another manager, who contacted a logistics guy to get an extra chair. Sometimes there is just too much bureaucracy for the simplest of things. Jericho Terrace is, "A-Ok," on the most part and could get better by refining staff organization. read more

Just went to a friend's wedding here and have to say it was one of the best weddings I have been to. We arrived early and the venue offered us a lounge with coffee and tea (it was an early wedding). Yes, there are many weddings going on at once but I never felt like we were in a factory setting. The food was good, better than food I have had at very exclusive halls. Plus, there was an amazing variety. The hall was spacious, and for ONCE at a wedding the beet dish was prepared the way I wanted it. The drinks were mixed well, not watered down. They Viennese hour was to die for. If you want a beautiful wedding WITHOUT going for your lungs I highly recommend! Eta: I meant beef above, not beet! Whoops! read more

Went here for my companies Holiday party and had a great experience, but honestly what made my experience great was RAY THE BARTENDER!!!!!!

I got married here a year and a half ago and still reminisce how awesome it was. I have no idea why this place gets bad reviews. A lot of times people don't want to admit that they're a part of the issues they experienced and blame it on the venue. The food is hands down the best I've ever had at any venue, and I've been to a lot of weddings! Michael Kloss gave us everything we dreamt of and more. I ate here twice before the wedding because I knew the night of, I wasn't going to eat much due to the excitement and having a great time. I was also shown the kitchen, which was immaculate. All of my guests still rave about the food and the Viennese hour. The desserts, popcorn, cotton candy and my wedding cake were amazing! Wish I could go back in time and relive it.
